'''Canarybox''' is a video rental service offered by [[Medical Mechanica]] consisting of a yellow arcade-cabinet inspired kiosk with a touch-screen interface, the Canarybox service offers video rentals of anything you can think of. Literally. If it's a piece of media that can be placed on a disk, somehow these machines seem to have it - assuming you're willing to sort through their vast catalogue to find it. A helpful row of 'Frequently Requested' choices appears at the top of the main menu showcasing selections like "Movies", "Series", "Anime", "Stand-up Comedy", and "Music Videos". Typically the collection seems to consist of previous releases, but with enough time and patience one can even find things that haven't come out yet or are still in the middle of production. There is no logical explanation for this.

Even stranger, there are no fees to be paid for using the service but you can only check out one film at a time. Luckily it doesn't matter which machine you use to return them as they seem to be popping up literally everywhere. Grocery stores, street corners, you name it. Becoming a 'Frequent User' can also put you into a drawing to have a Canarybox installed in your home but how these are decided are as much a mystery as everything else about this company. One thing is for sure though, and it's advertised often, Canarybox is "A Medical Mechanica Company".
