Devi's apartment

Welcome to Devi's Living room. We'll start with the walls. They apper to be a dark tealish color, but what color they are is anyone's guess due to the lack of cleaning. A few pictures and posters hang, although they are all very odd. With a couch on the wall to your right, there sits a nice wooden coffee table, with only a few papers to decorate it. She has a comfortable looking chair in the far right hand courner, and the TV is on the left wall. A small table is next to the chair with nothing on it. The carpet is gray and there is transparent Alien head on a stand, with a floating brain in it, next to the kitchen which lacks a door. Against the northern most wall is a door.

Sitting in front of her open Closet, Devi twirls her dagger in her hand, watching the light from the kitchen glint off the blade as it moves. It'd be beautiful if it wasn't a copy of the Dread Dagger that Johnny once held. Replying the events of last night in her head, Devi tries to figure out exactly what she missed from that time. Not for a second does she belive that Nny gave his daggers to Tabitha, there's just something not right about that. Gazing upon the comatose figure of Lee, Devi comtemplates just stabbing her leg. She can feel Lee's power being pulled into her, through the power of the daggers, but there has got to be a way to store all that darkenss. She needs a really big glass jar, to just stuff Lee in. "Fuck it." Standing, Devi continues to spin the dagger, the pace growing as she stands there. "What exactly is in you, Li-Bogard." Maybe it's time to find out.

"The things nightmares are made of, Devi D." Caliga suddenly appears behind her, a slight frown on his face. "You'd be dumber then I originally thought if you tried that." A bag suddenly appears in his hands, which he tosses to Devi. "I think you and I need to have a little talk.. But of course, I wouldn't think of compensating you for your time."

Devi looks over her shoulder at Caliga, her eyebrow twitching at this unexpected interuption. Catching the bag, she opens it to look inside. Seeing Caliga's nice crystals, she nods and tosses the bag behind her, not bothering to watch as it vanishes into a bag somewhere in her room. She sits down, crossing her legs and folding her hands in her lap. Her red eyes flash at him as she responds, "Caliga, how nice to see you. I assume you have a good reason for interupting me?"

"Possibly. I had a very interesting conversation with the figment Johnny created. Tell me Devi.." Caliga sits down on a chair, his eyes locked directly onto Devi. "What are your thoughts on Waste-Locks." He holds up a finger, his eyes suddenly glowing red for a second. "And if you think I'll fall for the bullshit on get a copy of JtHM that Tabitha tried to feed me, we will have a bit a problem. Tell me all you know about The Doughboys, and Sickness."

Leaning forward, Devi rests an elbow on her knee. "You are a very interesting creature. But I don't give information without getting some in return. I'll tell you what I know about the Doughboys and... Sickness, and you tell me a few things in return. Like, what exactly is your business with Johnny, and why you sealed him, among other things. Do you agree?"

"My business with the Maniac? Why, it's to overthrow the council. I sealed him, because he became a threat to himself, as well as the denizens of this world." Caliga leans forward, and seems to grin at Devi. "Now, before I finish with your other questions.. You start with mine."

Devi nods. "Fair enough. Waste-locks are people or objects (I assume), that absorbs negitive things, storing the energy. The Doughboys and Sickness were figments of that power, manipulating Johnny, and myself. Johnny never defeted them, and I disasembled Sickness. Though not well enough it would seem. What exactly are your goals here, and why am -I- an intrest to you?"

"My goals? Why, my goals are quite simple. To make Twisted a better place." Caliga seems to grin at this answer. "As for your second question, you are of intrest to me, because you are a beautiful young woman." He says this non-chelontly, as if it were a fact of truth to him. "Now.. My turn. Tell me about Squee... Johnny's recent memories make him a very intersting factor as well." Devi laughs. "Squee? Squee will most likly go insane by the time he's 14 and will end up like Johnny. Shmee apparently is a diffrent kind of figment, but it's all the same really, meaning Shmee or Squee is the wastelock. That's something that needs time and observation before everything clears up. Now. How do you intent to make Twisted a better place? Dictaorship? What about all the evil and good semi- deietys?"

Caliga says, "I intend to make Twisted a better place, by making it less chaotic. Evil runs rampant, there is no order, no laws, and those in charge don't seem to care one single bit that it is this way. Their exact words were as long as Chronos doesn't get tainted, then they do not care what happens to Twisted. The Semi-deitys? I wouldn't worry to much about them."

Devi leans back in her chair and crosses her arms, her right foot bouncing in the air. "So, that would be why you don't want Lee awoken, right?" She smirks and looks over her shoulder at Lee as the door swings shut and locks.

Caliga seems to smirk. "Competition gets tedious at times dear. I'm far to old to waste my time competing over something with another. Besides.. If you woke her up.. Would you face that responsibility? The wheels will continue to turn no matter what, Devi D.." He slowly gets to his feet, and grins as he takes a few steps towards her, his eyes glowing brightly. "It's a shame each of you is being claimed.. It really is.. I wouldn't mind having creatures such as you working for me.."

Devi says, "It's my agreement with Oblivion that makes me so intresting, Caliga. When I was human, my life was boring, and I was weak and tedious myself. That's not something I can get at the courner store." She seems to lean forwards but in fact doesn't remaining, seated and mostly comfortable. She smiles disarmingly up at him.

Caliga says, "No.. You were interesting before hand Devi.. You just failed to realize it." He points at the locked closet. "Becareful Devi. You don't want to end up as used as your friend is. You fought something that your friend failed to resist.. You've had potential for some time... Tis a real shame.." He continues to lean in, staring directly into Devi's eyes the entire time.

Devi keeping her smile frozen upon her face, she replys, "I'm stronger in mind then Johnny was, and my insanity notch only makes it stronger. I won't be controlled by that power, I will use it. I'm not aggrogent enough to say I can control all of it. Nor am I going to try. " She gives a small giggle and rises to her feet, almost strutting towards the door. Turning the handle she opens it and leans against it. "If you'll excuse me, Caliga."

"I do hope you enjoy your gift, Devi." Caliga suddenly vanishes in a wisp of smoke, a small red screw like eye left behind, staring straight at Devi.
