You walk into a very large restaurant with high ceilings that leave the rafters exposed. Fluroescent lamps hang from the ceiling, adding light to the place and tables. Windows adorn the sides of the place, looking out onto the chaos that is Twisted. On some of the walls are paintings, photographs, and some holograms of different B-movies, and a number of people who tend to visit the UR as they're singing karaoke. The hardwood bar rests at the back of the place, it's surface polished and shiny and all together spotless (most of the time). Behind the bar are various beverages that are servered and a giant mirror. There seems to be an inordant amount of different drinks. A large stage rests in one of the corners of the restaurant, with an amazing sound system and a few microphones strung about it. Multiple round wood tables are in the room, and a swing door leads into the kitchen. Another door leads to the dance club, and another to the gym. And of course, there's and exit outside. A large fireplace rests in one of the walls, with a beautiful stone chimney that flows up and out. A long spiral staircase rests near the entrance to the kitchen, leading to a second floor balcony that overlooks the UR itself. The lights up there are a bit dimmer than those down below. Mei is quietly sitting in the UR, eatting what appears to be pizza with pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and roasted tomato on it. Lakshmi is with her, poking at her slice and jabbering away at something Mei seems to largely be ignoring. The door to the UR is slowly pushed open. Suddenly a small doll is thrown through the opened door, squeaking as it hits the floor. Tenna bursts in behind it, rolling to a ball, and retrieving the doll seending another squeak into the air. "WE HAVE EMERGED VICTORIOUS!!" Nearly pouncing the bar she grabs the bartender, "I NEEEEEEEED NACHOES! Hurry! There's only FIVE MINUTES REMAINING!!" Mei glances over "Hello Tenna!" she perked out, her ears twitching "Wanna sit with us, cute stuff?" she asked. Lakshmi has taken to gnawing the table, which causes Mei to sort of.. look at her before going back to talking to Tenna "Come join us, they'll get you nachos!" she murmured, cheerfully taking a bite of her pizza. ( water buffalo mozzerella ftw.) Tenna's eyes scan the room suspiciously before sneaky-feeting her way over to the table and snagging a chair next to Mei. In a near whisper she leans over and mumbles, "Pssst. Hey? The small one needs more fiber..." Sitting up comicaly, she pats Lakshmi on the head. "HIYA SHORT-STUFF!" She squeeks Spooky at her. "Spooky says hello!" Mei snorts and giggles. "I'm sure she's fine, she just likes to gnaw things with her fangs and is mad because I told her not to bite me again." Lakshmi looks up and tries to take Mister Spooky, her eyes glimmering with mischief. Mei however takes a slice of pizza to stuff into Tenna's mouth, cheerfully. Tenna swiftly moves Spooky out of Lakshmi's way with a practiced toss. As she catches it in her free hand she nearly gags as pizza is shoved into her mouth. Coughing, but holding the pizza steady with her now free hand, she munches. "Not bad. Kinda..." Munchmunch, "...peppery..." Licking the remains of the pizza off her finger tips she eyes the bartender as they roam about taking orders. "They'd better not..." She jumps to stand on her chair. "THEY'D BETTER NOT GIVE MY NACHOES TO..." *clang* A skutter drops a tray of chips on the table. Tenna looks down and blinks. "Oh... Cool!" Dropping back to a sitting position she grabs one and munches. "How's feeding time for the rug rat going besides the gnawing and table eating?" Mei's expression is cheerful "Its her first time here, so try not to be too mean." she murmured, her ears twitching. The tot moves to stand on the table and touch Tenna's forehead watching her before bending down to steal a chip and eat it, making a hillarious face. "want doll!" the child insisted. Mei doesn't really seem to yell at the kid for standing on the table. "Eat you." Lakshmi commented, opening her mouth and shutting it quickly while watching Tenna with big eyes O_O Tenna defensively yanks the nachoes towards her and playfuly growls. "You dont steal another girl's nachoes without asking!" She smirks and pushes the chips towards the young girl. "Naaah, go for it." Smiling she leans back, but Spooky is stashed away in the process. "Note to self, use Virtual Spooky around the kid." Another chip vanishes. "Hey, it's my second time here. Does that count for anything? Heheh." Mei chuckles "You're a big girl Tenna. " she head pats, and leans over, picking up the tot to set in her lap. The child continues to stare at Tenna oddly, taking bits of the cheese covered chips to nibble on, herfinger going into the cheese before she jams it square up into Mei's cheek and then drags into Mei's nose, causing the damnedest noise "Acoasfasg LAKSHMI DO NOT STICK YOUR FINGER IN MAMA'S NOSE!" Tenna giggles, "Y'know I did that to Devi once..." She trails off quietly. "...nearly tore my hand off..." She pouts a little for her lost friend but washes the tears away with more nachoes. Washing... she taps a passing scutter on the head, "Hey, robo-dude? Can I get a Poop Cola here?" It swivels it's head up and down. "God, I love this place!" Smiling again she points at the side of Mei's head. "Kid! Chips go in the EARS!" Swiftly she backs away expecting Mei to smack her. Lakshmi takes a chip.. looks at it, and with her freaky telekinsesis, sends the chip at Tenna's ear, cheese most likely splattering Tenna's arm in the process. "I saw Devi yesterday." she commented quietly. " She should be home very soon. " Mei offered, grinning lopsidedly Tenna flails dramaticly at the suddenly chip-insertion, collapsing into the floor and screaming "EWWWWWW!!!!" She climbs back up after cleaning the mess out, complaining under her breath about wanting a q-tip. "Eh? Devi?" She munches a chip absently. (No, not the ear-chip, that's nasty!) "...I wonder if I should pick the apartment up, then?" Munchmunchmunch. "Oh well, not like she'd probably go straight home, huh?" Mei snorts a bit. "If you made a mess you should clean it up, and make her a cake or something." she offered, cheerfully. She kisses Lakshmi who offers Tenna a napkin. " MM its a lazy afternoon, isn't it." Tenna urks, "Clean? I'm allergic to cleaning! I break out in HIVES." She munches on another chip behind an mischvious smirk. "I 'unno. Maybe I should. But come on, it's not like there's maggots or anything. Just some old trash I need to take out and some clothes pilled up everywhere." She mutters under her breath, "...not sure how to explain the bathtub full of jello though..." Mei sorta stares "... maybe you should hire the weird twitchy guy to do that laundry and take out that trash. Devi is going to maul you." Mei commented, ear twitching as she rubs her head.. "Why *DO* You have a bath tub full of jello? How do you bathe? " Tenna looks shocked, "Why WOULDN'T we have a bathtub full of Jello? It's AWESOME!! Took me a week just to figure out how to pull it off!" That... doesn't answer anything. Mei blinks "Tenna.. Why is your bath tub full of jello" Tenna might suddenly feel little kid hands rummaging her person. Lakshmi is after that damn doll. She *wants* it. Mei leans over so her chin is on Tenna's shoulder. Tenna's eyes go wide at the sudden invasion on her person. "GYAH!! I DON'T LIKE YOU LIKE THAT! NO MEANS NO!!" She scoots away from the tot, flailing in the process. "Here, kid. C'mon.... take something else. Spooky's mine!" She throws a Scooby-Doo toy at the child and lunges for her remaining nachoes to bring them along too. "Dem's mine!!" Lakshmi suddenly begins to scream and cry when she's hit in the head with the scooby doo toy. She's soon face first in Mei's chest, causing Mei to give Tenna an awkward and stern look Her arms wrap the child up to gently rub "Come on sweety, its her toy, no need to cry, shh." Mei sets a few coins on the table, standing up to bounce Lakshmi a little bit and sway her weight a little. "Its okay big girl." she whispered, shrugging to Tenna Tenna eeeeeep's, "Sorry, I guess my aim is bad..." She puts down the nachoes and swipes up the toy off the floor. "Look, c'mon. It's Scooby-Doo. All kids like Scooby!" She waves it in the air, the plastic toy's feet moving around in the process. It's your standard Happy Meal toy of the wind-up walking varriety. "Look! Look what it can do!" She winds it up and places it on the table. With a whirring noise it makes it's way around in a small circle. "Isn't that cooool?" Lakshmi sniffles and screeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaams. She's afraid of Scooby doo now apparently. She giggles, ears twittering as she as she picks Lakshmi up to bounce Tenna sighs, "S'okay kid. Scooby Doo scares some adults too." When the child finally giggles she pockets the second toy and munches on what's left of her chips. "Maaan nachoes go to quickly. We should start a buisness, NACHO-MART! Featuring all you can eat nachoes of the chip variety. It'll be awesome!" Mei chuckles. She reaches over, hugging Tenna once "We're gonna get going, have fun." she whispered, snuggling a bit. She settles warmly. Tenna waves at the two of them as she throws the last chip in her mouth. "Buh-bye you two!" Her expression changes to an annoyed stare as a skutter finally brings her her drink. As Mei leaves she'll hear all sorts of psudo-profanities directed at the small robot. At least until she starts to drink it. Mei covers Lakshmi's ears, heading out o.o; | |
