Town Hall - Arena(#4390R)
Referred to as 'the Arena' by citizens of Twisted, the center of the Town Hall is a large sandy area surrounded by tall pillars which hold up the angled celing overhead. The arena area is actually about ten feet lower than the rest of the building with a stone walkway beneath the pillars allowing people to stand and look down at whatever events may be hosted at the time. From the North and South are stone steps leading to the two main entrances of the building. The one to the South leads back to the main street of Twisted, the one to the North leads to the TASK building.

Often times people have asked why such a parthenon-looking structure would be named the Town Hall, at which point Senor Diablo would simply smile and walk away leaving it to the imagination. Hanging from the pillars are colorful banners representing the season, viewable only from the inside of the building.

An interesting feature of the building is that the area around the sandy arena is somehow protected against attacks. Meaning if a fight where to break out in the arena itself, anyone standing along the walkways would be completely safe should the fight get out of control. Because of this seeing people wildly testing their abilities here is not uncommon.

It's been a long night. After comforting the catgirl and ensuring she got back to sleep, a certain dragoness decided to get a few things squared away with a certain fellow who is often associated with evil and bad things. The quiet of the sandy arena is disturbed by a rumbling that kicks the dust up, creating a 'fog' of sand and dust over the entire floor; then, dead in the center, there is suddenly a red-haired dragoness that simply begins existing in that particular location.

She doesn't say a word, instead simply staring straight ahead with her arms folded across her chest, a slight scowl etched into her features. She doesn't look too thrilled -- whether it's because she doesn't look forward to this talk, or doesn't like the content of the talk, or just doesn't like the recipient of the talk, that much is difficult to tell, but she looks less than pleased, all the same.

Appearing behind her as she marches, Senor Diablo rises up out of her shadow and tries to pass it off as though he was there the whole time watching the sun rise. "Good morning, Sul Uv do faal Hez Lok. I must say your older name was far easier on the tongue." ...and with that one statement he reveals that he's been listening far more than he should have been and that he knows about things being reset. Assuming enough thought is put into his greeting.

Not bothering to turn to face her, he simply continues to stare with a slight smile creeping over his thin lips. "To what do I owe the honor of this long overdue visit?" Not even bothering to keep up the act, is he?

A smirk appears on the dragoness' face, obviously unsurprised by the similarly sudden appearance of the horned fellow. "Good morning, Senor Diablo." She opts for the name he prefers over the ones he dislikes, at least for the time being. "Most don't bother with my true name for that very reason, I must say that I do appreciate your consideration." She goes quiet for a long moment, before starry eyes turn toward the tall figure, looking him up and down briefly, before turning upwards.

After a moment of silence, she rolls her eyes. "You've been a particularly naughty little ruler of the realm, you know. I'm really not at all that angry, it seems to be in your nature, but I would like to request that you kindly keep the fuck away from my little pocket of life here." She keeps her arms crossed, her wings shifting idly behind her as she offers Diablo a bit of a thousand yard stare.

Diablo blinks. That was not the speech he expected to get. "Sun then, is that acceptable?" He folds his arms behind his back and finally turns to face her. "I take great offence to being associated with being evil, especially in light of all I've tried to do here. I am a creature of balance. I must adhere to it, even during the times I don't want to. I have gone out of my way to make sure that Twisted is as peaceful and stable as I can make it - and yes. That has required some sacrifices.... But as to 'kindly keeping the fuck away' there are things that require my attention that I must be involved with. You'd do well not to get in my way."

A laugh. She is actually laughing at Diablo. "You are hardly a creature of balance. Really, you have orchestrated a good bit of a mess that is constantly teetering on the brink of disaster. Don't think that you can fool me as easily as you have fooled so many others, I see much FURTHER than they do." She smiles. "Really, it is you who would do well to stay out of MY way -- seeing as my affairs are genuinely keeping you safer than you would normally be, and my affairs are your problems -- unless I am reading the situation wrong, which is very, *very* rare for someone who can see as much as I can see."

She takes a few steps away, her starry wings stretching to their full width, powerful flying muscles quivering as they are stretched. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but my daughter is a thorn in your side -- just as you have been a thorn in mine and hers." She folds her wings again, turning a mildly amused look to the tall horned man.

She stares into his eyes for a long time, before the smile breaks across her features once more. "And I can control that problematic side of her that you have had so much trouble with."

The demon's eyes narrow as she attempts to threaten him back as well. He even unlocks his hands, letting them fall to his sides and begins to tighten his hands into fists. In fact he looks ready to start screaming until Sun mistakenly shows her hand and one of his brows suddenly arches. "An interesting statement." Suddenly his composure returns and Diablo once more folds his hands behind his back. "For the record, Ms... I'm sorry, Sun. Do not take credit where credit isn't due. She's no more your daughter than mine, regardless of what she may believe." He starts to pace, once more feeling in control of the situation. "I do thank you for looking after my ward while she's had her little breakdown, but believe me. I had only her best intentions at heart."

"The poor girl lacked a past, family, control... I gave it to her, and I'm sorry to admit that it didn't take as well as I'd hoped. Before I stepped into the picture she was a killer. The last person who came onto Twisted named Sun lost her beloved at that girl's hands. Mind you, that child and the one sleeping in your home may share the same body, but she does not share the same mind." He stops pacing and faces her again, "I am to thank for that. Right now she believes me a monster - but I assure you I'm not, and given the chance I would try to repair the damage to her mind and silence these... voices of her's, but we both know that will not happen until I can somehow regain her trust."

He pauses again, just to drive his next point home, "But a thorn in my side? Hardly. I wouldn't be orchestrating events to keep her safe if she were." His voice darkens, "You do realize how easy it would be to remove her from Twisted entirely? I have the manpower, let alone the personal ability to do so." He smiles, "However I feel she's worth saving, wouldn't you agree?"

The smile never leaves Sun's face. "You mistakenly think I've come to bargain with you. You have the manpower and the personal ability to remove her from Twisted entirely. And certainly, that would leave me very discontent." She chuckles softly...and disappears. Diablo can sense her, of course...but she's everywhere. Literally, everywhere. "And what you do not have the manpower to do, my dear little Lucifer," comes from within the devil's mind, before the woman reforms, back in one central location.

"Is to remove me." She smiles, spreading her hands out wide. "You can try, certainly. Many people do. But you know it to be true," And suddenly, there's another her, the same presence, behind him. "You won't succeed...and I think you know that, far better than most people here do." And another appears, this time to his side. "You can't get rid of me. And I can do far more damage than your little pet can do." Another appears. "You know that, too, better than most people in existence do." And then, there's a full circle of Suns, each their own complete version, as real as the one standing next to them...but all the same. "It just doesn't work that way."

And then, there is only one again. "Stay away from me. Stay away from her. Or you will have me," She smiles wickedly, all of a sudden, "And many others *like* me, causing trouble for your precarious little realm."

"Someone's been reading my Christmas list!!!" That's not Diablo's voice. Nor is it an extension of him as a seemingly infinite number of red eyes open up in every shadow cast by the morning sunlight. Countless insects begin crawling across the sandy floor of the arena completely blanketing it in a number of seconds. Rising up out of the ground between Sun and Diablo comes the form of a madman in a broken black straightjacket. His long, wild black hair arching up and behind him reaching a point halfway down his back. On each hand a white glove with arcane symbols glowing brightly. The man takes one good look at Sun and opens a mouth full of razor sharp pointed teeth. "ALUCARD, NO!" Instantly the insanity draws back revealing the man, now with short hair, standing in a full red suit and matching hat. His eyes shielded behind yellow glasses. "Oh COME ON. She's practically BEGGING FOR IT!"

Senor Diablo simply sighs and steps around the vampire. "Your threats mean absolutely nothing to me. I have no intentions of disrupting your little game of house, just as I have no intentions of harming Tabitha farther." He looks back at Alucard with a scowl momentarily.

Alucard smiles, "...and she smells like coffee! Fifty or so coffee flavored bitches, up in mah shit?"

...if looks could kill. Diablo turns away and sighs again. "Go play your little game, enjoy the cute little child Oblivion created, or the decaying corpse that Johnny made to control the first Sun. Go brush the hair of my ward and put her in pretty little dresses, but at the end of the day I AM THE ONE ALLOWING IT TO HAPPEN - and if you /attempt/ threaten me again with your childish parlor tricks you WILL NOT be given the grace I'm giving you today!!" Without another word he turns and starts to walk away, leaving Alucard looking awkward and dejected.

"Hey, if ya change your mind? Maybe want to get your fight on?"

"ALUCAAAAARD!!"

Alucard makes a phone gesture, "...call me!"

Still she doesn't stop smiling -- even as Alucard makes his fancy entrance. "You'd do well to avoid threats in my general direction then, sweet little Lucifer." In fact, she's kind of IGNORING the vampire, as if he doesn't exist. He certainly doesn't intimidate her in the slightest. "This isn't my playground, certainly, it's yours...but your little travesty of a playground hasn't been destroyed because I haven't decided it would be fun." She grins at the man's back, her own teeth suddenly appearing sharp, dragon-like. "Because I like your playground, too. It's fun." She does a little twirl as the man walks away, giggling. That giggle carries something menacing behind it, though.

"Let's just agree to leave each other alone, so we can both mutually enjoy your playground, okay, Lucifer?" She waves cheerfully, giggling again. "I really would hate to watch it all burn because you couldn't play nice with me, after all...wait, no I wouldn't! I'm kind of bored, really, and burning this IS always pretty fun." She laughs. A kiss is blown after the horned man, before her eyes turn toward Alucard. "You are kinda cute, for a creepy vampire. How about you call me if you want to have some more fun than he can offer you? I'm a wild ride." She winks...

And then, before Diablo can respond to her threats, she's gone. She's not even in Twisted any more. She's...elsewhere.

"Did you see that? Bitches love the coat. And canons. Did I tell you about the big tittied police girl I have back at home?"

Diablo stops in his tracks and says a phrase he knows might be the biggest mistake of his existence. "Alucard? Why don't you go for one of your walks?"

There's a mischievous cackling as the vampire turns and strides purposefully out of the Town Hall and onto the streets of Twisted.

Senor Diablo simply shakes his head, "The things I have to sacrifice for a moment of peace and quiet..."
