Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or so they say. Well, stuff it! Not everyone has a chance to have a balanced breakfast. Some people's lives are so busy that they power through the day with only a scanty meal wherever and whenever they can get it. Well, that's not Blake...at least not today. Since she's got so much time on her hands and a bit of cash to burn, she's found her way to the one spot in town that is sure to offer a nice, hearty meal - the UR! So, Blake's found herself a nice spot at the bar and ordered about half a dozen different things to try. Pancakes, eggs, bacon and toast, a Danish, some ham, breakfast casserole, and a bowl cereal that. Cereal is the opener here and she gobbles it down greedily. One thing's for sure, displacement hasn't killed her appetite.

Sarra_Moon steps into the usual, her children in tow as she spots Blake and wanders up to the bar "Hi there" she says as her wolves trail behind her. she turns to the bare keep and orders a stake for each wolf, cooked rare as well as a large breakfast of eggs, lots of bacon and sausage as she takes a seat next to you.

Blake turns, a mouth full of cereal and somehow manages to smile broadly through it. "Mmpth," is her excited greeting, waving to the incoming family. She slides her place over a bit, turning to face Sarra as she takes her place next to her. "Moony! 'Sup, girl?" She helps herself to another bite. There is definitely something off about Blake's cereal. That isn't milk in the bowl.

Sarra_Moon smiles "Nothing really, just thought me and my children would grab some breakfast.

Blake nods, "Yeah, same! Dude, you ever tried Beer-ios?" Blake holds up her bowl so that Sarra can see its questionable contents. As the name implies, what Sarra will find is a large amount of cheerios floating in a bubbly, amber liquid. Yup, that's beer. "You oughtta. I find the best kind is when you mix honey nut with a good stout. Kinda that...sweet and salty thing. Wanna bite?" She generously presents Sarra with a spoon in her face, brimming with the concoction.

Sarra_Moon takes the spoon and tries the cereal as she smiles "Not bad, so what have you been up too?"

Blake beams, "Right? Help yourself man! YO!" She motions to the barkeep, "Another spoon here. Thanks!" Spoon delivered, she places the bowl between the pair of them but with a steak on the way, who could blame Sarra for refusing another helping? Either way, Blake is content enough for the company. "Not much. Wandering, mostly. I should probably find something to do. Money won't make itself."

Sarra_Moon says, "This is true, I'm sure you could find odd jobs around, what did you do before you got here?" she asks as she eats more cereal"

Blake says, "Ah, mostly beat stuff up. Hunted down all kinds of beasties. Shook down the Vampire mobs...You know, mercenary shit. I like sticking up for the little guy." Of this, Blake is immensely proud. If there is one thing she can boast about, it's her good reputation as a mercenary...and her bike...and her proficiency in combat...and her looks and...Ok ok. Blake likes to boast a lot but it's surprisingly casual."

Sarra_Moon nods "I'm not too bad at combat myself" she smiles as she eats with you "This place is much more relaxing then were I was from thou, my kind was invoved in a secret war to protect mother earth, a mostly loseing one"

Blake frowns, "That sucks." In spite of this seeming like a serious understatement, there could be no doubting her sincerity. It's written plainly on her face. She pats Sarra's arm. "Guess you've gotta second chance here, right? I hope it's not -too- relaxing, though. I get a little...antsy when not much is going on. Gotta cut loose once in a while or I get to feeling...I dunno..stifled."

Sarra_Moon nods "I'm built for fighting so I do try to find things to occupy my time with"

Blake grins crookedly, "Yeah? Well, maybe you and me can go at it some time. Little sparring match? Yeah?"

Sarra_Moon smiles "I'd like that, In human form or not?" she asks as her food arives, her wolves tearing into the steaks as she smiles.

Blake blinks, "Huh? Oh, yeah! Totally. I don't usually do it the other way. Not really my thing." Nevermind that this is her true form. Nevermind that, technically, that is the way that most wolves would have preferred to do it. Blake goes it her own way. Still, the idea of a sparring match is exciting. She takes a huge spoonful of beerios and waves her spoon at Sarra, "I bet you're one of those wiry ones. All speed and precision"

Sarra_Moon smiles "I am in farly good physical condition for both strangth and speed, and I am a matial artist"

Blake ahhhs, now diverting her attention to the bacon nearby and chowing down on that. "My girlfriend's one of those. Black belt and all. Pretty good too. Me, I pretty much just punch things. You know, basic brawler but it works." Understatement of the year. Blake's success in her work comes from her sheer stubbornness and brawn. No finesse whatsoever but she can appreciate it when she sees it.

Sarra_Moon smiles and tilts her head "Girlfriend?" she smiles at you

Blake grins wolfishly,"Chloe." Right on cue, Blake tosses the last bit of bacon in the air, catches it in her mouth, and reaches into her jacket pocket for her cellphone. She scrolls through her pics, laughing or smiling dreamily at some of them with odd commentary like, "Oh yeah, that was the beholder I kicked across a football field....that thing FLEW, man! Hahah! Oh oh, and this one, check it out? Totally set that Treant on fire. Hahah wicked cool. I mean, it kinda screamed a lot but that's pretty much what you'd expect....Yeah, here ya go." The picture Blake finally lands on is that of a strikingly pretty young woman with dark hair and dark eyes. Her mouth is set in a begrudging half smile. She didn't want her picture taken, clearly, but seems to have relented. "That's my girl. That's Chloe."

Sarra_Moon looks at the pic and smiles "Very lovely" she says as she eats her own breakfast

Blake grins, staring proudly at the picture on her phone, "Oh yeah, Chloe's great. Moody thing, but great." She allows herself a moment or two longer to admire her girlfriend's image before replacing the phone in her jacket. "How bout you? You've got kids so...where's your fella?" She waggles her brows meaningfully. A moment of sadness crosses her face before she shakes herself "He's gone, killed by human hunters" she says as she pets her chieldren.

Blake says, "Oh what? In the war? Oh man, I'm sorry." She puts a hand on Sarra's shoulder and gives it a squeeze. "That's rough. And with the kids? How ya holding up?""

Sarra_Moon says, "I'm fine, I was raised as a wolf, we're resilient to loss""

Blake's lips form a tight line for just a fraction of a second. "Yeah, I get that," she says with a nod. "I pretty much grew up on my own. I only had my grandpa and we moved all over all the time. Couldn't stay in one place for long cause there were some guys after us. Eventually we wound up at the Hausehaeker compound - human mercenary family...big name...big guys...big business. Guess they owed grandpa pretty big cause they took me in and...I never saw grandpa again. The Haushaekers taught me a lot of what I know but...they were just making good on their word to keep a roof over my head...feed me, that kinda thing. They weren't like...family or anything. Grandpa was the only family I ever had that I know...and he just took off so...yeah. I get ya.

Sarra_Moon nods and places a hand on your shoulder "Sorry to hear that."

Blake is quick to brush it all off, though she doesn't remove Sarra's hand. "Aw naw! You kidding'? That's what's made me so awesome!" She says this completely UNironically, a broad grin on her face. "Thanks to grandpa, I got used to moving around a lot as a kid. He taught me how to live on my own...what to look out for...what to salvage...Thanks to the Haushaekers, I got my break in the biz. I cut my teeth as a mercenary working some odd jobs with them. I was outta there at 16, on my own, with nothin but my pack and Hella - that's my bike. Oh yeah, I definitely have them to thank for that. I mean, she'd bought now but all the parts and the work that went into her coulda happened if I hadn't been an honorary Haushaeker...So here I am." She turns this bright grin to her friend. "It's probably the same for you. The war and all's probably made you, like, a hundred times cooler."

Sarra_Moon says, "I learnd my fighting style as well as several other abilities during it""

Blake playfully socks Sarra's arm, probably a little harder than is necessary as she tends not to be particularly aware of her own strength. "Ey! Hands on learner! That's what I'm talking about. It's the best way! So...like, the war...What's that about?"

Sarra_Moon says, "you sure you want to know, despite my strength and such it can be tariffing" she doesn't seem to be bothered by the hit to the arm, seems she is a tuogh little thing"

Blake nods her assent. She's definitely up for it. She's been around the block a few times herself and nearly died on more than one occasion. Besides, she wants to give Sarra a chance to share her story. It'll be good for her.
