You are experiencing a traffic accident!" The low, monotone voices of automated robots fill the normally abuzz streets of Twisted with slightly above-average volume, and exceptionally boring repetition as dozens of them leap about, all chasing after a young woman with red hair that is very apparently NOT Liyara, daughter of Lux, granddaughter of Hoondarh, the Red Rage of Mintarn (who lives eternal) [TM].

"I am not!" The girl can't be more than eighteen, and is not wearing a red dress, but rather a pink (!) duster with fur collar over a black shirt and red miniskirt. She's got black leggings on, and a red ouroborous necklace. Oh, and she DOES have golden horns and entirely too-green eyes. She's waving at the automatons chasing her, and fire is coming out of her hands, melting the white robots down as they approach, but another wave of dozens is coming around the corner even as she's turning the first into scrap. Wait. They're coming out of the alley next to the Usual. Why?

Further inspection would reveal the robots are all humanoid, and while their faces are white and human-looking, the rest of them looks like it wasn't really supposed to pass as alive. Yay robots!

For better or worse, a particular plastic dinosaur is rather fond of The Usual, and was making his way towards it, when he spots the red lady casually blasting the robots with fire coming out of her hands. Oddly, or maybe not, he doesn't find that particular ability too distressing or odd, but still, cause of concern, given the robots seem to be offering assistance!. The plastic dinosaur tries to approach, moving besides the small robot horde and closer to the fire girl, "What's going on?" he asks loudly, waving curiously, "They are attacking you?" he asks, glaring at the weird machines emerging from the place next to his favorite place in the city.

SilverSight is wandering his way down the street with a large plastic cup floating beside him, occasionally drinking from the straw within it. Just another day in this new city full of strange things and new people to check out. And now there's someone running his way shooting fire at a bunch of white robots. See, yet another day! "So what's going on here, I wonder.. Is she running from the some police robots I haven't been made aware of? Or are they destructive creations of man gone rogue again? Decisions.."

John Constantine steps out of the Usual. He pulls out a pack of cigs and a lighter and, yup, lights up as he watches the oddness. Eh, if he needs to intervene, he can. Right now, he sees no reason to.

The girl ducks under one of the robot's hands as it reaches for her shoulder, and bats it away as she continues barreling down the street. The robot's monotone is devoid of passion, but sounds friendly enough. "This is for your own safety - you are experiencing a traffic accident." The girl turns on her heels, skidding a bit backwards with the momentum, and claws a hand down at the robot. While the hand doesn't do much, the fiery attack following it cleaves the white robot in half, and explodes outwards towards two others, lighting them aflame. They go down pretty easily - but there are, in fact, twelve more right on their tail.

"I'm not even IN traffic, you bucket of bolts! ... Buckets... of bolts!" Well, admittedly, there are enough robots pouring out of the alley that they ARE becoming a traffic impediment. Can anyone say self-fulfilling prophecy?

The girl turns and continues to barrel towards SilverSight, not really aware that he's in her path, because she's looking to Alden. "Wha-- Yes! And I don't know why!" She sounds very unhappy, for obvious reasons, but for what it's worth, the horde doesn't seem to be aggressive to anyone other than the young woman. "Help?!"

It's right at this time that she sees SilverSight, and furrows her brow. "G-get out of the way!" She doesn't seem like she's going to slow down, but she's waving him off to one side. Well - that would keep him out of the path of the robot tsunami... There are now thirty of them behind her.

John Constantine frowns a bit. Malfunctioning robots, in large numbers? Not his expertise, but maybe he can... Cig dangling from his mouth, he starts to stride into their path. "Now," he says around it. "Could one of you...gentlerobots...tell me what is going on here?"

The digimon doesn't need more explanations than 'yes' after seeing how frantically the bizarre humanoids seem at trying to reach the girl that clearly doesn't want htem close, and does not seem to be in traffic either!. "Hey!, she is fine! she doesn't want you close!" the little dino exclaims, and tries to jump into action. "Toy flame!" the plastic brick construct exclaims, opening it's maw, as a flat looking piece of plastic shaped like a fireball ( https://wikimon.net/images/1/1d/Toyagumon.jpg ) emerges from his maw. One has only a moment to wonder how that might help, when it colides with one of the white robots, causing a blast of flames around the target point, burning the poor machine, even as he tries to approach the girl.

SilverSight doesn't hear the words normally associated with the police, but does hear her now crying for help. Yup. Creations of man going rogue again. He produces his pistol from his saddlebag and proceeds to start shooting bolts of magical energy into the mass of robots. When the girl gets near he'll start running in the same direction as her, aiming to keep at her side, "You seem to be having some sort of trouble with what I assume is NOT law enforcement. Would you care for some assistance in getting somewhere safer?"

"Please do not resist! This is for your own safety." The robots continue to chase the woman, and she's starting to slow down a little, her breathing is getting heavy. Hey, she's keeping ahead of presumably inexhaustible automata, she's doing pretty good, don't be judgey. One of the most recent batch streaming out of the alleyway (which hasn't stopped, by the way) actually pauses in his run, turning to respond to John's question. "It is unsafe to be on the street. Please return to your home. This is for your own safety." ... It's a response, at least. The robot doesn't move to rejoin its companions - apparently John has opened a dialogue with it.

When the one robot bursts into flames, two of them break off and look at Alden for a good solid two seconds. A red light seems to glare through their semi-translucent white chests, and then they start advancing on him. "This woman is in imminent danger. Please cease hostilities immediately." Oh, they don't look like they're being friendly to him.

"Yes!" The young woman's response is immediate, and she's snapping off sizzling bolts of flame that score through a robot at a time as she and Silver Sight run alongside each other. "Thank you!" Her hero! ... Is a pony. Eh, she's seen weirder things this week. No, even today. Roll with it. Behind them, robots fall in accordance with their attacks, not seemingly very durable, but more than making up for it with numbers.

"Oh, bollocks," John says with quite some amusement. "You're malfunctioning, bud, and the only imminent danger is you." Or possibly too them, given Liyara's penchant for violence, but...there's a lot OF them.

The plastic dinosaur is not intimidated by the two robots, "That women is only in danger from you, stop chasing her!" he bellows... well, he sort of squeaks, he has a hard time coming out as intimidating. He does try to get closer to the poor lady, but since the two seem to be threatening him, he attacks, trying to clear a way. The toy creature begins to spin his right arm like a windmill, and charges at the two, "Block punch!". He marks his words by launching an uppercut, and jumping a bit, impacting one of the robots in the chest, and causing a pillar of flames to emerge, engulfing it, and burning the second in the process, before trying to dash to the fire lady and the pony!

SilverSight fires a few more blasts of magic at the nearest robots before he gives a nod, "Very well then. I advise you to stop moving as quickly as possible then so that you don't fall too hard." He catches the pistol grip in his teeth and that horn of his starts to glow brightly. When it's glowy enough, he pounces on the female and even curls his tail around a rapidly approaching toy dino's arm the trio pops out of existance in a small flash of light! ... They all then re-appears, as if by magic, on top of one of the nearby buildings with a flat roof. Any momentum is kept during this act of teleportation.

"Our primary directive is to prevent any humans from coming to harm. That woman is experiencing a traffic accident. Please return to your home." The robot talking to John is more helpful than perhaps expected, but not THAT helpful. It's at least one robot not trying to ... whatever they're trying to do to the young lady.

The two robots that Alden attacks go down with no more resistance than any of the others; they definitely weren't expecting a dragon punch, or trained to handle one. In other news, the tsunami of robots seems to stem at the source; there was a limit to the number chasing her after all! ... It's about sixty. That's a lot of robots. Maybe too many robots.

Thankfully, Silver Sight comes to the rescue. The girl only has a moment to let out a low "Why-- EEP!" Before she is pounced by a pony and teleported onto a nearby roof. Oh, that ended much less terribly than she thought for a moment. Unfortunately, she didn't listen very well, and they spiral for a few feet along the roof thanks to her momentum. Ow. Wincing, she tries to get up, which will mean disentangling herself from her rescuers, so she can see where her pursuers are. Her adrenaline is pumping, she's not sure she's safe yet.

Unfortunately, she's right. The robots all slow to a stop down below, looking around for a moment. They can't see a sign of where she went, but instead of giving up, they all start forming a climbing wall up the nearest building, each climbing over the previous one until they've formed a sort of ladder for the rest, which swarm up onto the roof of a (different) building to look around. Persistent.

John Constantine sighs a bit. "Bollocks," he says again, and attempts to stub his cigarette out. On the robot. Well, it's nearby and not that flammable, right? There's a resigned, almost amused expression on his face.

Alden lets out a rather surprised noise as he suddenly finds himself elsewhere, and in his distraction he trips and falls, collapsing a collection of blocks that reassemble after a moment, "Ow... wait... where are we?" he asks, glancing around, and then slowly inching to the edge of the building to see what was going on. He tries to squeak/growl as he sees the things still around.

SilverSight goes thump roll squeak! ow when they hit the roof. He takes a deep breath and helps the other two get disentangled, looking rather curious at the blocky dinosaur for a moment and his ability to disassemble and reattach. Interesting, "You two okay? We're on a roof. Closest place I could get us out of their line of immediate sight." He takes a deep breath and sneaks over to peek over the edge, discovering the robots starting to work their way up as well, "Persistent bastards.. but it'll limit how many can get to us at once." He aims his pistol again and freezes for a second... then starts firing several energy bolts at the robot towers, aiming for legs near the bottom row to try and get the wall/ladder to fall.

The robot John is talking to doesn't visibly react, letting him put his cigarette out on it without complaint. This leaves a small scorch mark, or worse depending on how John proceeds, but the robot doesn't seem to be prioritizing its own safety over John's wishes - for whatever that's worth. It's looking at him expectantly, with a friendly smile even. "Ow." Well, that's not the most convincing pain response.

Silver Sight's shots take a few of the robots at the bottom of their climbing wall out, and it topples. Some of the ones at top scramble up onto the adjacent rooftop, but the ones in the middle all fall, and the ones that were highest up in that group actually break their legs when they hit the ground, but start crawling towards where the group has found themselves. The rest all start running towards the RIGHT building and start solo-climbing.

Not-Liyara growls a bit when she sees them all, and leans over to place a hand on the brick of the building she's standing on. She closes her eyes, and the brick starts to heat up rapidly, the mortar around it turning from a dull grey into a shining orange... and then it starts leaking out. But it's not really mortar any more - it's boiling lava, just pouring down and around the crevices and mortar between the bricks of the wall, eventually replacing all the mortar so that climbing on that wall is basically impossible. "I just wanted to go buy a slushie! Not fight an army of stupid robots!"

John Constantine steps back from the robot. "So, army of robots. Let's see here." His brow wrinkles in thought, and then he starts to chant quietly in a harsh language that is definitely *not* English. (Good thing Hawksmoor is occupied elsewhere, that lava trick would piss him off). Whatever it is he's trying to do...it's not causing any visual effect. Yet.

Alden growls loudly at the stupid army of robots, trying to see where they come from, and noticing the flow seems to finally is over. He wants to avoid breaking stuff if he can, but he is also extremely annoyed at the persistent things, weak or not. Hearing the annoyance from the young lady doesn't help to his mood either!. There is a bright glow on his small frame, "Toy agumon, digivolve to... Monzaemon!". The tiny figure is replaced by what might be the largest teddy bear in the city, the lumbering figure moving to glance at the mass of robots, and making sure there are no other victims in the way, he growls, "Eye beam!", eyes glowing red, before a short beam of light launches from them, landing on some of the robots on the ground, keeping it a short burst, just in case. [OOC] Alden says, "https://wikimon.net/File:Monzaemon_concept_art_digimon_adventure.jpg

SilverSight is quite pleased that his plan worked! A pile of robot bodies is much nicer to see than a wall. And sure they can now immediately zero in on their location, but they would have found them quickly enough as it was. He'll take shots at robots that are still on the other buildings before they can get closer, letting lavagirl here work on messing up the climbers, "Hey, at least nobody complains about morality and ethics when I shoot robots. You'd think that there wouldn't be so much public outcry about evildoers ending up full of holes or turned to dust. They're EVIL! Why protect them?"

Once John steps back from the robot, it seems to take his leaving as consent, and turns to rejoin its companions. Notably, it doesn't have to look around, but already seems to know exactly where to go.

The redhead has more pressing concerns than whether or not her actions are hurting the building - namely the robots that are successfully climbing up the other three walls around them all. She can't exactly affect the other walls from here, so she looks to her two new companions hopefully. "I'm sorry you got caught up in this." As it turns out, they're doing the lion's share of the work, and several of the robots are simply blown apart when Alden's Monzaemon Eyebeams hit near them. One actually takes the beams right in the chest and is completely disintegrated.

Two robots jump from the adjacent building onto the group's roof, and Silver Sight's shots take them right out of the air - leaving them to fall down to the alleyway below. Three or four clamber over all three of the not-lava walls to join the group on the roof. They immediately book it for Not-Liyara. "Do not be alarmed - you are experiencing an accident." No, do be alarmed!

Perhaps surprisingly, the redhead responds to Silver Sight. "Evil people have rights, too." ... Wow. Really? You're doing this now? Here?

Alden is not extremely accurate, but does try to snipe some of the ground level robots, "Eye beam!" he repeats, more red flashes of light raining on the ground machines, not spotting the ones that do manage to get up, that is, until they make mistake of screaming, which causes to stop and glance at them, one can swear the plush bear somehow cracked knuckles. "Leave her alone!" he tries again, trying to move to 'protect' the dragon girl.

SilverSight snorts, "They gave those rights up when they decided to kill an innocent." He does seem to have his own opinion on certain things. Probably comes from his previous life, but that can be explored later. He's also quite glad that his weapon reloads quickly! What looks like a dull emerald pops out of the pistol and sizzles on the ground while a much brighter one is slotted back in as he turns to shoot the new ones on the roof, "Stop causing the accident and it will no longer be experienced!"

John Constantine is still chanting, moving back slightly. If the robots are ignoring him, so much the better. There's the faintest scent of ozone starting to rise around the wizard. Oh, somebody screamed. He ignores it. He's concentrated through far worse than this...

"Not all evil people kill innocents." Not-Liyara responds automatically, looking around at the approaching robots with a bit of panic in her eyes. "Three... two..." And then she pulls her hand off the brick, letting that entire side of the building cool. She staggered their progress - that's enough of that. She spins and slaps one that approaches on the side that Alden and Silver Sight aren't covering - she slaps it hard, and there's actually an audible pop as it goes sailing off the roof to the ground. She brings that hand back and points two fingers out at two incoming robots, sniping them cleanly through the center with two fire bolts, causing them to just power down and sort of collapse on the roof where they were. It's a shame four more climb up behind them.

Alden's attacks continue to slow the ground robots, by way of destroying some, but then he's turning to face three new robots that he intercepted. They hesitate when approaching him. Is he a really tall human in a bear suit? They can't hurt humans. "...Please step aside and return to your home." ... Yay ambiguity?

Meanwhile, Silver Sight isn't having a similar effect - but the robots ARE getting mowed down - there were four, then there were three... now there are two. But three more are climbing up behind them. And four more are following the ones that Alden has stalled on the roof. It's going to get really crowded here in a second.

Alden doesnt' think these darn white things are strong enough to blast with all his strength, still, as the white robots approached, the plus bear stomps closer and reaches for them, "No." he replies, while leaning forward, those large, soft looking arms engulfing the machines in a large group hug!, "Silence hug." he mumbles, before he squeezes tightly and crush the 'fragile' machines. Someone paying close attention to him might notice that the bear is breathing a bit more heavily by now.

SilverSight would grumble about the Three Laws if he knew about them. Somehow they never came up in any of his tech research in the last year or so. Probably because he never had to deal with AI. Fortunately, the pony has a solution to the issue of being crowded! He reaches up to put a hoof at the small of the girl's back and his horn lights up again. Poof! They're back down on the streets again and he's rubbing his head with a groan, "Erf.. bringing another person along is not easy..." Sadly he had to leave the giant bear behind. He's way too big and they don't seem to be bothering him as much now at least.

The ozone feel builds...and then Constantine releases the spell, slumping back slightly, crackling energy towards the robots intended to short them out...probably not all of them, but maybe he can get a few. SilverSight and the digimon are both thankfully out of range.

Three of the robots completely fail to evade Alden's hug, and are crushed. The remainders all try to run around him looking for the redheaded woman, but that's around the time Silver Sight and she completely disappear, and all the robots stop, looking around for them. They seem to be ignoring Alden entirely - for better or worse.

Down on the ground, the girl isn't mid-motion this time, so she doesn't fall down or anything. She just blinks, looking around and figuring out that they're on the ground now. "Oh. That's handy. But are you ok?" She sounds concerned, and moves to put a hand on Silver Sight's back, looking just as worried as she sounds. "We should probably run before they find us again." She's definitely not fond of sticking around.

Constantine's spell crackles towards the robots that were still down on ground level or midway up the building, shorting many of them out, and causing them to slump down. There aren't nearly as many left, now. And most of them are looking around, not sure where Silver Sight and his rescuee have gotten to.

The bear finds himself alone, on top of a building, with some of the annoying white robots, he also looks around in confusion a few moments, "Wait... what?" he mumbles, and glances at the small group around him, growling and punching a few of them, the first punch or two might end with the target flying over the building, but seems to be losing steam, so he pauses and tries to find a safe way to get down.

SilverSight takes a few deep breaths as he gets worried over, nodding, "Yeah, I'll be fine. Minor magical strain from the spell. It'll go away with some rest." He meeps at the sudden lightning going on over there from the other magic user. Well that's a nifty spell too! "We can run if you like, but I'm not sure where we could get to before they see us again."

"Well..." The girl furrows her brows for a moment, then bites at her lip. "...There aren't so many now. Maybe I can..." She looks like she's trying to plan something out in her head, her shining green eyes blazing. After a moment, she looks back into the alley she was originally chased out of. She takes a deep breath, steels herself, and then turns to look back at the building where the other robots are slowly all orienting on her and climbing down to chase her now. "...Maybe I can lose them if I cut through the alley and then circle around the UR once I'm out of their line of sight." It sounds like she's trying to keep Silver Sight from having to deal with any further consequences of helping her. Which is nice. She seems nice. For an agitated probably-dragon girl.

SilverSight takes notice of the fact that the robots have found them again and he starts shooting! Pew pew pew pew, "We had some good help from that.. dragon thing that turned into a giant bear and the lighting blaster. I'm sure that we can fight them off if we keep moving. They do seem to be mostly focused on you."

With a nod, the girl raises a hand and takes another shot with a single firebolt. It actually misses its target, but she makes a gesture, and it splits into two and alters in mid-flight, taking the missed robot in the back of the head and another in the side. They both fall over, smoldering, as Silver Sight's shots take two more down. "...Then I guess we're killing some robots." And she starts running back the way she came from originally, once she's sure Silver Sight is going to keep up with her. She's not leaving him in the tidal wave. "Thank you for helping, by the way. My name's Tia. It's a pleasure."

Tia, huh?

SilverSight is quite happy to follow with the girl and keep his shots going. At least levitating his pistol doesn't seem to take much, if any, strain on his magic as he goes pew pew and shoots what he can, "I do try to be the helpful type, Tia. My name is Silver Sight. Any idea where these things came from?"

"You're the most helpful teleporting unicorn I've ever met." Tia deadpans, spinning at a corner to toss back another firebolt. This one hits the ground underneath an approaching robot, but she brings two fingers up, and another split bolt comes out of the ground, each half taking out two robots closest to them. The girl is still skidding as she turns back around and makes her way down the alley. She's no stranger to running and gunning.

The robots are having some difficulty building the mass critical to create that previous tidal wave effect, now that they're all scattered and joining together from different angles, and it doesn't seem like that was their goal, just sort of a side effect of their previous numbers.

"I'm not sure; the last thing I remember was noticing that the buildings and skyline didn't look like I was in Mabase anymore. They were tall and made mostly of glass, and the sky was ..." She gestures at the air above them. "...real, I guess? Not like this." So she wasn't in Twisted, it sounds like. Did she get out? Well, she's back now.

SilverSight grins, "It's a nice spell. Easier when I'm only teleporting myself though." He seems quite at east still while shooting at the robots that chase after them, trying to make sure they don't get flanked as well, "Yeah? Well that's interesting. Wonder how you got to a different world so easily.."

"So do I." Tia's brows are furrowed as she runs, and her breathing is starting to get heavier again. "...I don't remember arriving there, only all of these things attacking people. I ran down an alley, and when I turned a corner, I was here - and they were still coming." She takes a shot at a couple more robots, but then keeps her focus on running. Her words sound like she's struggling a bit to talk and run, but she's not complaining. "...I didn't see a portal like when I first came here."

SilverSight seems to start getting winded a little as well. He didn't have the healthiest lifestyle back home, and the cigarettes probably didn't help. He's getting better, but still spends more time in the library than anything else at the moment, "Well that's just silly. Might have to find out what's going on. See if that world still needs help once we're done with these ones." At least his four-legged self is still quite stable in movement as he shoots and runs and chats.

"I'm not sure how to get back there, but you're right." Tia slows to a stop for a minute, waiting for a good shot on the next robot. She takes it, and then takes another, letting them close the distance a bit. She's pacing herself, but also, the robots are dwindling with the two of them continually plinking away. "I hope they're ok."

She seems to be a carer.

SilverSight pew pew pew with his pistol. He ejects another sizzling gem and slots in one more. Pew, "Well if they have the kind of technology to make such robots, surely they have similar technology that could fight them, right? It only makes sense to be able to keep your robots under control."

As the robots thin down, Tia keeps firing off firebolts, joining with Silver Sight in deciding to perhaps make a last stand against the few that are left. She doesn't make any more course-correcting blasts, but she also doesn't miss anymore, either. She seems good with her little pew pew fire bolts, but she's taking slow, deep breaths now. Calming down? Coming down, maybe. Adrenaline only lasts so long.

"True. But maybe it was one of those worlds where the robots take over. I've seen a few movies about those." Be more optimistic! They're not SO hard to kill. Only about six left! But they're gaining now. At this rate, the last two will close into melee if they don't start running again. But Tia... doesn't seem like she'll be running.

SilverSight has plenty of ammo for these at least! Or charges. Or shots, whatever you want to call them. He starts moving off to the side a little. Not to run or anything, but to try and get the robots to spread out a little, or at least be able to flank them properly if they ignore him, "I recall something like that early in my time in the city of Neo Tokyo, but didn't get all the details."

"NeoTokyo..." Tia says the name wistfully, and crouches down to catch her breath before firing another shot. One of the robots goes down to her fire, and sure enough, Silvershot will find that they're ignoring him when they zero in on the redhead. "I haven't heard that name in a while." Two more go down... one more... and then the last two are upon Tia. She gives a little growl, and then stands up with a vicious firey backhand, a slash of heat cleaving one in half before the last one grabs onto her arm and starts trying to pull her somewhere. She yelps a bit, and pulls back against it - it actually doesn't seem to be stronger than her, but she's also not having an easy time getting free.

Is that the last one?

SilverSight grins, "Well I' m just glad that you've heard of it. Not many around here have. I ended up there from my homeworld first, then somehow ended up here. So.. I lost two homes technically." Ears twitch at the yelp and he sees that she's been caught! He freezes in place for a second before his gun twitches and fires a precise shot for the head!

Tia is trying to pull free when Silver Sight's last shot catches the robot in the head, and she falls backwards with another yelp, this time of surprise. She lands on the ground on her side and winces, just a tiny bit, but manages to get back to her feet before too long. "...That was sure exciting." She looks back at her rescuer. "Thank you."

SilverSight takes a deep breath and nods to the girl, "You're quite welcome, Tia. I haven't had any action like that since coming to Mabase, so it was quite interesting!" He looks around to see if any other robots are moving. There could be some crawlers that will need to be taken care of as well, "If you ever need anything, feel free to ask. I like helping."

"I might take you up on that!" Tia laughs, smiling. "...But hopefully I won't need any help like that again any time soon." Silver Sight is definitely right to be worried about crawling stragglers - but none of them have so much as made it to the alley yet. They should be easy enough to take care of at such slow speeds.

"Unless I figure out how I got there, and have to go back. I guess." She doesn't sound like she's sure she wants to be obligated to go save another world.

SilverSight gently patpats the humanoid on the arm, "They're easy to get rid of at least. I've heard of robots that are much more difficult than these guys were. A single shot could take them out easily enough after all." He sits back on his haunches and tries to relax a little and catch his breath after all that running.

"Like in those old sci fi movies?" Tia asks, raising her eyebrows. Her breathing is actually calming down somewhat, since they stopped with the running. It seems like magic fire doesn't take much more energy out of her than firing his gun takes out of Silver Sight. "Well, I'm glad they weren't those." As she catches her breath, the redhead leans against the wall of the Usual, crossing her arms. She looks visibly more relaxed, now. And it's not ONLY because she's no longer being chased by murder robots. "...And glad to be back."

SilverSight gives a small nod, "I suppose so. I haven't seen too many human-based sci-fi movies, to be honest. There's still a whole lot of culture that I'd need to catch up on to work everything out for the most part." He examines his pistol, wanting to ensure that the constant firing hasn't done any harm to it.

"Yeah, that took a while." Tia admits freely, taking a few breaths. "My home planet wasn't anything like ..." She gestures at the air widely. "Earth. Terra. Had to take in a lot to reach the point where I had even a frame of reference for some of their entertainment." Yeah? That makes sense.

"It was mostly worth it, though. I understand them a lot better, now." She offers the unicorn a small smile. "...I think that counts for something."

SilverSight smirks, "I assure you, it's been a fair bit more difficult for me. Ponies from my specific world didn't have much in the way of such entertainment as it is. Even before the war, they were only just learning to industrialize. They had cameras, but no 'moving pictures'."

"You think so?" Tia's green eyes glimmer a bit, and she offers a quiet laugh, before shrugging. "Maybe you're right. It was a long time ago now, anyway. It's easy to look at it as not-so-bad when it's behind you. Not so easy when it's ahead of you." She closes her eyes for a moment, taking a deeper, slower breath, and then opens them again. "...I'm going to go have a drink. Maybe you'd be interested in joining me?"

SilverSight nodnods with a smile, "That sounds good to me! At least we don't have to clean up the robots. Cities like this usually have a pretty good system for handling such messes." He stands up with a light stretch and peeks out from the alleyway, looking for signs of movement before trotting towards the Usual with Tia.

And there are some straggling, torso-only robotic crawlers when Silver Sight peeks out - but nothing that can't be dealt with. No tidal wave of robots. Just... vestiges. Tia peeks her head out a little ways above his, and smiles. "...Easy peasy, lemon-squeezy." What? Whatever. Time for drinks!
