 AK0002 would like to take some time out of his somewhat hectic (well, not really) schedule to answer some rather infrequently asked questions. These range from rather deep and philosophical questions, and sometimes borders on outright mindlessness, but then again, what else would you expect from AK0002? The co-founder of the Akira Shrine shall now delve into the great mysteries of life, the universe and everything. 
Q) Why am I here?
A) To read my IAQ, of course! Just kidding Humans are given life by a mindless infinite mass in which they live. The purpose of such life is, as of yet, unknown. The closest answer must hereby be attributed to the near infinite wisdom of Douglas Adams and his ingenious work of fiction: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. 42 Q) WTF? 42? A) Yes, 42 is the only sane answer to such a question in an insane existence. So shut up about it already. Q) OK, smartass, what does (a)+(B x 4)=? if the value of (A) and (B) are both unknown? A) You fell right into that one, 42, of course! 
Q) What is "the self"?
A) The self is an entity which may or may not exist. If one looks within deep enough, would that person be surprised to find void? The self is an abstract concept perceived by a mind made up of biological material that responds to chemical and electronic impulses. All in all, the self is only what you perceive it to be, nothing more, nothing less. Q) If there may be no self, is there a God? A) The answer to this question, no doubt, directly relates to the last one. Since supposedly, man is created in God's own images, then if we can conceive of self God can too. 
Q) So what is "God"?
A) God is a term for a deity. In the monotheistic sense, God is Omnipotent, there are no other Gods. I shall refrain from delving into polytheism here, and save it for later. Strangely, there are those that claim to know God through a man-made book. Such a position is overly common today, and somewhat disappointing. If God and man are similar (Which God explains in what humans believe to be "his book") then God is prone to rather sinful and disgusting acts much like we are. But one cannot claim to know God, for we are like ants in his presence. Why else do you think that God would allow evil to roam free in his world, lest he A) Does not care, or B) Is the one doing all the evil. A being of infinite power and knowledge cannot make excuses for evil because it has the power to get rid of it. It cannot say "Its not my fault", for that's a cop-out. I expect something better than cheap excuses from the divine. Q) I think in your last answer you forgot about Satan, where's your answer for that? 
A) I did not forget about Satan and his legions of
fiends, but in a true monotheistic sense, there are no
other Gods, and humans often sin by attributing Satan
as much power as they do. Of course, he may very well
have that much power, but if he does then God has lied
to us all, or at least his book writ by human hands
which err frequently. It wouldn't be surprising in the
least if he was a puppet of this so-called "fallen
angel". But that falls into Polly-theism, for in the
beginning, Good and Evil wore the same mask. God was
as benevolent as he was downright demonic. It is by
human hands that his transition from one God to two
Gods occurred.
Q) Your starting to get irritating, where the hell is the "return to homepage" button?? A) Why, at the top of the page, of course. You don't HAVE to read this if you enjoy being blind. Still with me? Fine then, the IAQ continues. I'll try not to poke fun at myself from here on, there are no guarantees, however. Q) So the self is possibly a work of fiction, writ by the mind in order to maintain a small bit of sanity? A) Yes, there may be no truth to the lies we can conceive of to justify our actions. That is not to say that humanity does not benefit from such mental fabrications. As in any situation, for someone else to profit, there must be slaves. That's what we are until we rise above all of the foolishness and accept the hard-to-swallow truth that nothing is known. Then one needs a plan of action. As you can see, I have yet to acquire any great mass of resources, and in that way I fall into the trap as well. For every gain, there is a loss. One man's garbage is another man's treasure. Just look at your TV for a good example. Q) So television contributes to a false sense of self? 
A) Yes again. The only reason I know this was that for some time I was not allowed to watch television. Although I may not have liked it at first, I am grateful now. TV is what the Subgeniuses, in all their wisdom, call false slack. TV is a mind control box, what I prefer to call the "swirling abyss of media madness". They present unrealistic characters with virtues abstract and beyond human, as if to say "This is what you should be like, this is a NORMAL human." These people are often seen doing unproductive acts, wasting time for nothing. Only they aren't, they're giving you your daily dose of ritual mind control. If you truly understand the self you don't make good slave labor. Unfortunately, this is the way things must be.
Q) How awful! I didn't know that something so seemingly innocent could be so evil!
A) Well now you know! And knowing is half the battle! *MWAHAHAHAaaaaa* Q) So where does the self go in the event of death? A) Alas, I cannot claim to possess such knowledge. If one dies in battle, one may find oneself in Valhalla. The idea of the self being preserved after death only seeks to ensnare you in another mind trap. Religion exists for the same reason the media does. People don't like to accept that life until death may be all there is, and thus it is used as a tool for control. Try and notice the similarities between the two. They're more alike than different. Q) So you dare to criticize our Lord, Jesus?!? A) Yes, I do. And Yahweh, Jehovah, Elohim, El, Tetragrammaton, and whatever else you sickos call him. You are only upset because you CHOOSE to believe. I don't wanna hear any abstract notions of FAITH for the virtue of FAITH is only a MIND CONTROL devise. Its what your preacher has beaten into you to ensure that his collection plate is full at the end of every sermon, nothing more. Uh-oh, Ive started with the SUBLIMINAL messages, putting certain KEYWORDS in ALL capital letters. The GOVERNMENT is upset cuz I'm attempting to wrangle their SLAVE LABOR. 
Q) You would be so EVIL as to attempt to CONTROL us through keywords in all CAPITAL letters?
A) I've never claimed to be a SAVIOR, so yes. My abstract notions have been cleaned of some areas to an extent, so I am free to attempt to reduce you all to mindless ZOMBIES.
