Down on the beach, Violet is standing in her gi. Waiting for Jason, she's practicing some punches and kicks.... She's not sure what exactly he has in store for her; she just knows Jason said she might hate him when this is all through. As such, she doesn't particularly look like she thinks she's going to have a fun time, instead she looks a little nervous, a frown quite prominent on her face.

And like that there's a shadow that passes by overhead followed by a roar, the kind of roar that sets off that primal instinct in most that screams 'Here there be Monsters'. And if Violet will turn, she'll find herself looking at a being born of darkness, a demon that escaped from hell. A pair of black wings from it's back, a slim but well toned body, a head with skull like features with horns jutting from it. Long clawed fingers. And why is it holding a pack in one of those hands. And it settles on the ground as it looks at Violet, you can almost see amusement in it's hellfire red eyes. And then, the body glows as it shrinks down and when the light clears..there stands one Jason Inugami, "Yo." he says with a nod to Violet.

Violet takes a cautious combat stance as the demon descends in front of her.... But she knows Jason enough to know vaguely of his abilities, and thus when the beast shrinks down to being just him, she's not looking terribly surprised. She probably would have been had she not been expecting him, though. "'Sup?" she responds to the similarly monosyllable greeting Jason gave her. "So... Sensei. What will you have me do?"

Jason_Inugami hmms and looks her over, "Well..first thing is. What combat skills have you learned so far?" he asks as he looks at her, and you can see him mentally catalouging things. "I know you carry a pair of guns, so I can assume your a good shot. Also ambidextrous and with a good enough situational awareness so you can use them with some level of skill, yes? Also.." he nods at her gi, "Classical Martial arts..Karate I can assume?

"Ehhh, not really sure on what type of combat it really is. I kind of, well, I had a teacher a long time ago. I know I'm out of practice with it, though... And as far as the pistols are concerned, I used to be better... I had some implants in my eyes-" She points to said eyes as she says this. "-that connected directly to a camera on the barrels of my pistols, but the implants kinda got fried or something... not really sure. Honestly, I think I'm lucky to not be blind from those going out. But still, even after.... The fall, I was involved in military or police, so yeah, I'm still a decent shot." She shrugs. "At least I think I am."

Violet says, "Ehhh, not really sure on what type of combat it really is. I kind of, well, I had a teacher a long time ago. I know I'm out of practice with it, though... And as far as the pistols are concerned, I used to be better... I had some implants in my eyes-" She points to said eyes as she says this. But still, even after.... The fall, I was involved in military or police, so yeah, I'm still a decent shot." She shrugs. "At least I think I am."

Jason_Inugami hmms and nods, "So..you're not sure." and he nods, "Okay.." and he goes silent for a moment as he unhooks the belt with his gunblade's holster on it and drops it to the ground, "Attack me..hand to hand. Make me move from this spot." he says indicating where he's standing.

Violet pulls a foot backward, then shifts her weight backward onto it. She takes a breath inward, and seems to concentrate for a second before yelling out. Why do these martial artist feel a need to yell out all the time?! Well, whatever the reason, it seems to actually work, as her aura flares around her, visible to the naked eye. And it indeed is a flare, seemingly very much like fire. "Hyaaaaa!" She jumps off from her back foot and... doesn't seem to actually take any steps as she rushes at Jason. If her goal is to move him from the spot, she doesn't see a reason to punch or kick, so much as tackle. As such, as she gets close, she crosses her arms in front of herself, looking to just make a flying(literally in this case) body blow.

As Violet charges at him, Jason's senses kick in. See, Violet doesn't know one thing about him. He's had to fight things stronger than him by far in combat to the death, if he should fall his soul is consumed by the demons within. So as she charges at him the world slows down as he moves, as she gets close he shifts his weight, letting her pass him. But he's not done yet, his arms flash out to grab her gi and he pivots, aiming to slam her down to the ground. With all the speed she had going well, mentally Jason winces, this could hurt.

Violet doesn't notice what Jason's doing until far too late, really. Well, she really wasn't expecting her first try to work... And she's only really fully aware of just what went wrong when she suddenly has a face full of sand. It in fact does take her a seconds after the impact for her to finally pull her face out of the sand, and in fact spits some out. Yeah, there are some bruises there, a few abrasions, but she looks mostly okay. "Alright, you have my base now, I suppose."

Jason_Inugami nods, "Yeah..and it's pretty bad." and he runs a hand through his hair, "You have power, I can see that. But.." and he goes to tap her forehead, "THis is your best weapon." he sighs, "TO give you a example, you sensed the power off that thing I was just a minute ago, right? I had to fight and kill it to gain it's power. So imagine me, fighting that? How could I win?"

Violet winces slightly at the forehead tap. Okay, she has more than a few abrasions, but she doesn't look like she's gonna let a little bleeding stop her, or even slow her down. "Outsmarting it. Exploiting weaknesses, using tools it doesn't know about." She doesn't sound hopeful as she says this... Violet's never really been a powerhouse in the brains department, and she's aware of this.

Jason_Inugami nods, "Or..setting the battle to your flow." he says as he walks back a bit and he assumes a loose stance. Wait, what is with that stance? There's too many openings, and in lethal areas no less. "Shall we spar a bit?" he asks with a look at her.

Violet pulls herself up to her feet again and takes a less open stance. It looks a bit defensive, actually. "Alright..." She looks over his stance, trying to figure what his angle is with leaving himself open like that... And doesn't strike yet.

It's almost like one of those scenes in a western show, two gunslingers in a standoff, one waiting for the other to make their move. And Jason, it's almost like he's carved from stone, there's no anticipation, no anything coming off him. And without warning he moves. And it seems he was hiding something, he's got enhanced speed as he goes at her, but at the last second he cuts to the left side in a flanking move. And yes, the openings are still there, almost begging to be hit.

Violet definitely looks a bit caught off-guard by his speed, so she's really not able to react fast enough to his flanking maneuver. Her eyes widen as he gets around to her side, but her only real action is to try to jump away from his new relative direction, once again kicking off with one foot and travelling way too far and/or fast for that one foot plant and gravity to be quite right.

As Violet gets her distance from him, Jason stops his charge, and assumes that loose stance again. For those that have a eye for combat, he's leaving holes in his defense, lethal areas no less. One would wonder what he's planning doing that but it's hard to tell. "You were surprised by how fast I am." it's not a question, but a statement. And he nods slowly, "You have to be aware of the battlefield and everything on it. Never underestimate your enemy or you'll fall. But also don't overestimate them, that makes you timid and afraid to take chances." and he gives a slightly sardonic grin, "Right now you're wondering what else I have up my sleeve, and it's making you hesitate from committing."

Violet smiles a bit sheepishly. "Ehhh..... Yeah. I guess I'm a bit of an open book at this point...." Yeah, he totally called it. She figured if she could see the openings, something else was going on, all right. She then frowns as she pulls her right hand back, taking a bit less of a defensive stance. Looks like she's ready for round three?

And with a nod Jason mentally grins. Well, that worked. And he keeps his stance, waiting for her to make her move watching her closely as he waits to see the tell tale signs of movement so he can prepare to react to it. His breathing is calm, focused, everything around him he's aware of as he prepares for Round 3.

Skeeve chooses this opportunity to come down the steps from the boardwalk, a wizard's staff slung over one shoulder, a large duffel bag carried in the other. He appears to be looking for something, but Violet and Jason squaring off catches his attention. A wary expression on his face, he makes his way closer to the two, but doesn't say anything, not just yet.

Violet takes perhaps a slight too long before she realizes that this time Jason's not going to go first this time. With a quick motion, she pulls her hands back, then forward again, letting loose a large but loosely cohesive blast of ki from her hands at him. Despite its size, it's not really that powerful... But Violet's moving in right behind it, backing up what in the end is basically a large flare with another rushing strike. Except this time she actually drops to the ground again before reaching him... Into a crouching roll that looks aimed to knock his feet out from under him.

And like that the trap is set. To give you a breakdown, all those openings he was leaving. They were traps, he left them there expecting someone to act on them, so he could set the pace of the battle to his advantage. So as the ki blast comes in, he dodges to the side, spinning away from it so Violet's rolling attack will go right through where he was. And once she recovers from that, he'll move to catch her in the back with a roundhouse kick. He has to admit, the ki blast was a nice trick, but when he saw her flare earlier, he already figured she could do that and adjusted his plans accordingly.

Violet never actually expected the roll to connect. No, that was actually thesecond of her feints. As such, when the roundhouse kick is aimed at her, she's already in the process of firing off another blast, this one with a lot more punch to it. Unfortunately, she's a bit too slow at it, and Jason's kick knocks her hands, sending the blast firing off into the sky.

Well, consider Jason impressed. She had a second feint at the ready, he'll have to readjust his thoughts about her. But as the blast goes airborne, he'll move and suddenly dip down to fire off a pair of strikes. A uppercut aimed at her stomach aiming to double her over, and if it's successful he'll grab her and go for a quick throw, and he does put a bit of his strength into it so she will end up a few feet away.

Skeeve, having closed the distance some, watches the fight with some interest, setting the bag down, but not the staff. He's at least eighty percent sure the fight's just sparring, but... "Everything okay here?"

Violet barely gets back up to her feet when there's an uppercut into her stomach. The wind now knocked out of her, she's stunned a bit too much to react... at all to Jason's quick throw. Really, Violet's not a very heavy person at all, so it's not too difficult to throw her when she's not offering much resistance. As such, she in fact goes flying right at Skeeve.

Skeeve barely has a split second to react when Violet suddenly comes flying through the air at him... tossing his staff to one side, he barely has enough time to hold out his arms in Vi's direction before she hits him, and they both go over in a heap in the sand.

As Jason turns and hears Skeeve, he stops and winces as he sees the full impact. Yeah, that looked painful and he shakes his head. Yeah, even he felt that impact. And he sighs as he walks up to the two, "Leviathan." he says softly as his body explodes into light, and when the light clears a large serpentine creature is hovering above the two. With a screech, energy flows around it as what seems to be water appears and begins to dance over the two people and begins to try and heal any injuries they may have gotten from that meeting of minds.

Minerva, who had up till now been enjoying her time by flying out over the ocean and playing spot the sealife, finally starts to fly in over the beach just in time... to see her boyfriend become incredibly horny. No, wait, just two GIANT horns on a very sinuous looking body... Okay, no wait, bad thoughts, bad! Still enough to make her blush bright pink, and she flies back out over the ocean to calm down in the relatively cooler air.

Violet says, "Ufffughfur.... Skeeve, I don't think Ari would like this." She pulls herself off of the mage, actually grateful for the heals. Her face isn't bleeding from that first head first sand impact she had anymore! After all, she has a date coming up soon... "Well... that could have gone better..."

Skeeve dizzily says, from where he's spilled out across the sand, "But Auntie Em, if we don't get up to eighty eight miles per hour, we'll *never* hit the thermal exhaust port!" As Jason's Leviathan drips energy onto him, he slowly sits up, clutching at his head. "That's what I get for sticking my nose in, I guess... everyone okay?"

And a screech is heard from Leviathan as it looks at the two. You can tell from the look in it's eyes it is sorry, and there's another flash of light from the monster and when it passes, there stands Jason. "Sorry about that Skeeve, didn't expect you to walk into that one." he sighs, "And good here..was sparring with Violet and well." shrugs.

Violet pouts slightly. "Well my ass. He's just showing how open I leave myself right now."

Jason_Inugami looks at Violet, "Yes..there's a LOT of work to be done Violet. But you got a couple things right, you tried to set a trap for me, if I hadn't already been firing that kick off the blast woulda connected.

Caracol had apparently gotten called off for some Time Patrol business...which takes a lot less time than one would THINK thanks to the whole time travel thing. He'd wandered back since he wasn't done looking around, and face palmed upon seeing the ki blasts in the air. Oh good greeeeeeeiiiiiiif.... Time for Caracol to poke his busybody nose into what looks like another battle.

Okay, having cooled off her blush, Mina decides, screw it. A little giddy from being at the ocean cause, hey, lived in the desert for HOW LONG in her home world, she decides to have some fun. A bit of concentration, right by where the waves are starting to form, and there's a long slender bit of ice, forming right after Mina's feet touch the surface of the water. When it's stable enough to hold her, her wings fold away, and it's... "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Surf's up.

For Caracol Jason, Violet, and Skeeve are standing around talking. There seems to be no signs of a battle going on oddly enough. "Skeeve got the right of it. Like I said Violet, I can teach you to fight, and yes, you're gonna hate me." he grins as he reclaims his gunblade and it's holster and buckles it back on. "In your own words Vi. What did you notice when we were sparring?"

Violet says, "...Yeah, yeah..." She takes the hand up, and looks like she's about to dust the sand off her clothes... but it's just her gi, so she figures why bother for now. "I figured with the way you were trying to teach me, I had to double feint to really get around you. If I'd been just a bit faster, I probably would have avoided the kick, but I was sloppy on that roll." At least she recognizes it. "and you don't have to tell me how I screwed up when I practically leaned into your fist when getting back up. I guess I need a better... standing up technique." She then raises an eyebrow and narrows the other eye as she watches Mina come in."

Skeeve brushes sand off the back of his head, noting the... really quite odd expression on Vi's face, and follows her gaze to watch Minerva apparently surfing on ice. Hiding a smile, he gestures, levitating his staff and bag up out of the sand, back towards him. He doesn't appear to have noticed the Namekian yet.

Caracol blinks as he arrives to see.....nothing violent. He shrugs and walks on over. Training exercise maybe? As he gets a little closer he nods for his own benefit. Sounds like a training exercise..."

Jason_Inugami nods, "Pretty much. You have a decent awareness and you think on your feet. That's good. See, I can't teach you to fight like I do, it's too dangerous. But I can at least help you develop your own style of fighting." he says with a shrug. And he nods to Caracol. Huh, been a while since he saw him.

By the time Mina's ice surfboard makes it to shore, she's gone to doing a handstand while surfing, absentmindedly waving her feet back and forth to help keep her balance as her board catches on the shells and sand of the actual beach. A small swell of water lifts her board up, and she bends her body, using the water and the board to lift her up enough so that it's a relatively easy controlled fall to get back to her feet. "Hey guys," she greets with a nod after releasing her control over the elements, letting the ice fall back to water.

Jason_Inugami looks at Mina and sighs a bit with a good natured chuckle, "...Show off." he says with a rueful shake of his head.

Violet says, "Thanks... I think. I guess those are the things that are important in any combat... even when it's far, far from hand to hand." She points upward.. Yeah, she's refering to space combat. She then blinks and looks down as Jason nods to Caracol. "Oh... Hey... Little Green.... I'm sorry, if I caught your name earlier today, I've forgotten it." She taps her head. "Maybe a few too many blows to the face in training."

Minerva grins at Jason. "Really, just a bit. Sides, what's easier, a little elemental manipulation, or falling on my face?" she wrinkles her nose. "Plus, ocean has a rhythm all it's own, need to practice with it or things might get messy. Not all water's as tame as the stuff in a water bottle, after all."

Skeeve chuckles a little bit at that, planting the end of his wizard's staff in the sand. "Well, I think the goal is to *not* catch fists with your face, Vi." He offers Minerva a casual wave, turns it towards Caracol. "So... Jason... what was with the water lizard routine? I'm curious."

Caracol says, "OOooooooh, I know allll about that. That kinda stuff's why I call my bakery friend the cookie lady for now. Still can't remember her name yet. Speaking of...hi again fighter lady and badlands guy!"

At Skeeve's comment Jason hmms as he looks at the mage, debating how much to say. Last time he did Rin had the look of he was a piece of meat, and she was wanting him. Yeah, spooked him. But then, he is a friend of Mina and the others and he nods, "Harmonixer. It's..hard to explain but I fight and kill demons, monsters, and spirits and I gain their powers. Imagine fusing your soul with another and you become something more." he gestures at himself, "The one you saw was Leviathan, the Beast of the Oceans."

Minerva keeps up a running litany in her head, 'no innuendo, no innuendo, no innuendo NO INNUENDO DAMNIT'.

Caracol says, "Leviathan....sounds familiar, but for obvious reasons I'm not really knowledgeable enough to figure out where from."

Violet says, "Well, technically, I did't get a fist to the face... more like a beach."

Violet says, "But, I'm, uh, Violet, Violet Karrde."

Caracol says, "Oh, and I'm Caracol...I don't think anyone could possibly call me a name that'd offend me given the treatment I get around the tower from most the masters though."

Skeeve just stares at Jason for a few moments, waiting for him to laugh, or say 'just kidding' or something like that. After a little while, when it's clear he's not going to, he turns to look at the ground, and sighs heavily. "Definitely you should develop your own fighting style, Violet."

Minerva grins. "Kay, Cara. Though really, you should get better masters if they work that hard to destroy your confidence." She nods towards Jason. "I wouldn't be much of a teacher myself. My temper's still on too light a trigger."

Jason_Inugami looks at Skeeve. Okay, not what he was expecting, "Actually...I can't teach her THAT." he sighs, "It's in my bloodline." he points out. "But my combat style is well..it's been called suicidal. I have to fight those things so..yeah. I have to use all I can..even if it's risky.

Caracol says, "Oh it's not about confidence...a lot of the races just don't really talk to each other all that nicely. That and people like Vegeta don't care about talking to anyone unless it's leading up to punching thier faces in. Besides I already finished training from a bunch of those guys, so I get to make 'smart ass' remarks...though it usually ends with me being the next lesson's training dumby."

Violet says, "Great, I have to make up my own style now?" She lets out a sigh. "Maybe I should just go looking for trouble in the badlands and learn the hard way there."

Minerva mmmms. "Don't be an idiot, I know you're smarter than that. Learning this way in a controlled environment may be a little slower, but you're far less likely to die alone in the middle of a ditch somewhere. Just found you, don't wanna loose you."

Caracol says, "Wellllll be careful if you see a floating island or you might get a lot more teachers than you were looking for."

Minerva's voice was incredibly lighthearted, in an attempt to take the sting out of her words.

Skeeve, making sure his staff is set a good foot or so into the sand, grins, shakes his head. "Tough to beat the school of hard knocks, Vi. As long as you can survive it, anyway." It doesn't sound like he's being encouraging. From his duffel, he takes a glass canister, sets it in the sand next to his staff.

And Jason sighs a bit, "Bad idea there Violet, it's how I learned. In the middle of a pretty bloody war no less. Trust me, you loose something doing that." and he looks at Skeeve and hmms, "Ritual?" he asks with a lifted eyebrow.

Violet sighs again. "All right, all right.... But I'm guessing we're done for today, as we've picked up so many hangers on?"

Jason_Inugami nods, "We'll pick up later." he says as he reaches into the pack he brought and tosses Violet a juice. "Here. Wish we had Gatorade in the war." he says with a rueful smirk.

Skeeve adjusts the angle of the staff lightly. "Nothing so specific as that, really. Just recharging." He gestures lightly at the canister. "It's got a latticework of Dreed emeralds in there, and the force line that runs over the beach is a lot bigger than the one by the house."

Violet catches the drink easily enough. She easily twists the top off and starts chugging it.

Minerva tilts her head. "Emeralds? Any specific reason for that particular beryl with this specific force line?" Okay, yeah, she like shiny rocks, and depending on the system used, that particular one is her birthstone. Honestly, half the reason she makes jewelry with lightsaber crystals is BIG SHINY ROCKS.

Skeeve, in something of a scholarly tone, says, "Well, emeralds from Dreed are famous for their ability to store magical energy relative to their size. As for why here? Well, mostly just the size of the force line. Means it won't take nearly as much time to refill the bottle."

Jason_Inugami hmms, "Makes sense...when I was exploring there were quite a few areas that put off a bit of power." he says with a nod towards the Dragon's Gateway to the north. "A couple of my fusions were reacting to it." he says with a look around and he sips his own gatorade.

Violet finishes the drink quickly enough. "Thanks, teach! So..." She looks around. "I probably need to really get a better idea of where everything is in this city... I'm supposed to play tour guide to a newcomer in a few days... anyone have any suggestions?"

Jason_Inugami hmms, "Who's the newcomer and what are they like?" he asks with a look at Violet. He doesn't know much about tours, but he can give it a try,

Skeeve aligns the bottle and the staff a little bit, hides a bit of a grin. "Well, there's this really fantastic ramen stand on the boardwalk that I recommend. Then you can always go for a romantic walk on the beach afterwards..."

Minerva gives a soft little sigh. "Must be very nice to be able to budget for stones like that to work with." But then again, she's been spending all her time studying instead of going out and stocking up on money via adventuring.

Skeeve nods lightly at that, taking a seat on the sand. "Well, this stuff's a little too expensive for me to just be handing out like candy, but if you ever want to run some exercises with it, just let me know and I'll let you borrow it." After a moment's concentration on the alignment between the staff and the bottle, he adds, "Do me a favour, watch my back? I'm gonna be distracted for a little while."

"Hrrrrm. A solid idea, there, Skeeve..." she grins just a bit too much. "Oh, well, she's a real space cowboy type. Former smuggler, she's considering joining the fleet, but, eh, she's not sure yet, understandably.

Violet says, "Hrrrrm. A solid idea, there, Skeeve..." she grins just a bit too much. "Oh, well, she's a real space cowboy type. Former smuggler, she's considering joining the fleet, but, eh, she's not sure yet, understandably."

Minerva nods. "Wasn't asking, really. Was being wistful. I'm fine with semi-precious stones, polished. Even figured out a trick to polish them myself, lovely exercise in control. No worries, consider your back watched."

Caracol streeeeeeeeeaches out a little. "Well more work done...I'm able to look around again."

Jason_Inugami hmms, and grins at Mina as she talks about gems. "You're hopeless." he says with a chuckle. And he sighs as he let's Skeeve work, but he pulls his gunblade and begins checking it over.

A strange, mirror-like door suddenly seems to appear farther up the beach. Its strange, silvery surface glittering in the light. There's a wavering along its surface like water on a still pond being disturbed by the wind, ripples dancing across it. Then a young, white-haired young man steps through the mirror, the silvery surface flowing around him like liquid mercury.

Minerva mmms. "You know it. Completely and utterly." She sits down on the sand, looking out towards the sky, and the gathering clouds. "Love the big shiny rocks...... and there's a door. On the beach. I swear, if that's a Gunslinger named Roland I am noping the hell out back to MU."

Violet sighs and sits down on the sand. She then actually giggles a little. "I'm really looking forward to it, though..." She then blinks and looks up the board towards where Minerva was looking.

At Mina's words Jason chuckles a bit, "Uh huh.." and he blinks as he feels something..something odd. And jamming a fresh clip into his gunblade he holsters it slowly. Okay, weird feeling from the door and then he sees the man walk out. Huh..teleportation of some sort.

Caracol tilts his head. "Well that was very bright and shiney..." he murmurs.

Violet says, "Hey, Mina..." She gets a slightly hopeful look on her face. "Uh, after I left the other night... did Alexa... say much?"

Minerva smiles a bit softly. "I don't remember the exact words, but... I think you have nothing to worry about. There's definitely something to build on, there."

Jason_Inugami looks at Violet and grins. He sees why she's so..giddy. And he chuckles a bit as he shakes his head, still keeping an eye on the white haired guy. Something is OFF with that guy, the fusion souls are telling him to be careful so..careful he'll be. His gunblade adjusted so it can be pulled fast.

Violet says, "Heheh... well, can't blame me for asking for more info, right?"

Minerva glances towards Jason under her lashes. "No, no I really can't. Just take things slow, and know that I'm rooting for you." She flashes Violet a thumbs up.

Violet says, "I am not just giving her little survival packages for a year before I say anything! I've got a date with her already!"

Soma slowly looks around the beach, his eyes drifting along the shoreline for a few moments, taking in the grashing surf as is curls up into frothing waves upon the shore. Then he spots the small group out of the corner of his eyes and actually looks slightly surprised, but only for a moment before he inclines his head in a small, respectful nod to them.

Jason_Inugami looks at Violet and chuckles, "Ooooooh, moving fast Violet." and he chuckles a bit, "Not bad there." he says with a smirk. And he returns Soma's nod of greeting, his crimson eyes narrowing a bit as he goes back to the goings on.

Caracol waves back in response to the nod. He's nothing if not willing to meet new people!

Minerva laughs. "Aww, low blow Violet. Sides, when I met Jason... I fell for him fast, but neither of us were ready for any kind of relationship for a good long while after. I'm afraid I became a bit of a Tsundere to try and keep emotional distance till I was ready." She rubs the back of her head, smiling good naturedly.

Soma seems to note the way Jason's eyes narrow at him, something that causes him merely to smile just a bit, a faint rolling of his shoulders in a small shrug. It wouldn't be the first time.

Violet says, "Well, Alexa and I basically just opened up with flirting with each other." She nods to the white haired guy, but raises an eyebrow at his surprised look."

Violet says, "Well, there's no way I can hold back like that, Minerva. It's just not in my nature."

Minerva looks up at the sky. "Maybe... that's part of why I'm so good with ice."

Caracol continues to watch Soma curiously. His curiosity doesn't seem to be anything in the realm of eye narrowing though... He's just wondering why this guy feels so powerful.

Ari strolls onto the beach from the boardwalk and blinks. "Well.. place is busy tonight." she smiles.

Violet looks up and waves to Ari as she strolls up. "Hey, Ari!" She calls out. Then she blinks and suddenly frowns.

Ari waves to Violet. "Hey Vi!" she tilts her head a little. "What's wrong?

Violet says, "Oh, uh...." she glances around at all the people around. "Um, I'll have to tell you later..."

Ari arches a brow, confused. "Okaaay..."

Violet says, "Buuuut, let's talk about something good." She grins to Ari. "I am a bit psyched, ya know!"

Ari beams. "Psyched is good! What about?"

And with a nod at Violet Jason decides to answer, "She's got a date with someone." he says with a smirk as he decides to put Soma outta his mind, he's not showing signs of aggression or the like so he firmly tells the fusion souls to shut up and let him enjoy some peace and quiet for once.

"The fact that I've got a date coming up!" Yes, Violet is a bit obsessed with this.

Minerva reaches over to lightly tug on the hem of Jason's pants. "Sit down here already so I can snuggle into your side." Well, certainly not shy about asking what she wants, huh?

Soma just seems to be taking things in, as a matter of fact. He doesn't even seem to be bothering anybody as he walks towards the edge of the surf and just takes a few moments to take in the sky, the wind, the sand of the beach and so on.

Ari actually bounces up and down a little in excitement. "That is great! Skeeve and I talked to her a little afterward. She seems pretty nice! " She grins.

And with a long suffering sigh at Violet, Ari, and Caracol. "See what I gotta deal with." he says in a grousing good natured tone he flops down next to Mina. After moving the holster of his weapon so it won't dig into his back. Yes, that is annoying.

Violet says, "Oh, please do spill! What did she say?!"

Caracol just looks lost now. They seem to be on THAT kind of topic...maybe he should go harrass the white haired dude since he isn't involved?

Minerva inches over till she can quite happily lean into Jason's side, resting her head on his shoulder. "Yes, I'm sure it's such a trial to put up with me in your daily life."

Ari grins. "We pretty much talked about how awesome you are. I think she is as excited about the date as you!"

Skeeve starts a little bit, suddenly snapping back to full consciousness from where he was seated on the beach. He looks a little groggy. "Well, *that* took way longer than I expected..."

Violet bounces lightly from foot to foot in giddiness, then suddenly stops and laughs at herself. "Oh my god, you'd think I never actually had a boyfriend or girlfriend before!"

Jason_Inugami looks at Skeeve, "Yeah, I was starting to wonder. I ain't seen many rituals take that long." he says as he looks at Violet, "Vi, calm down...it's just a date, not your wedding." he says with a chuckle at her schoolgirl in love antics.

Minerva grins. "Ignore the grump. Revel in your giddy feelings of joy!"

Caracol suddenly just DISSAPEARS and reappers beside Soma. "Soooo, hello," he greets, "I'm Caracol and I can't really follow the kind of stuff those guys are talking about, so what's your name?"

Ari grins at Skeeve. "And the handsome one has awakened!" she looks at Violet. "What she said. Celebrate it up!"

Violet says, "Hey, I've not had anyone I could think of like that in over two years, okay?! I've been feeling all sorts of lonely! Damn skippy I'm gonna celebrate it up!"

Soma glances over and down at Caracol as the little green figure just suddenly appears next to him as if he'd always been standing there, "Good to meet you, Caracol." He replies, not seeming all that perterbed, surprisingly. "My name is Soma, Soma Cruz."

Skeeve rubs his forehead a little bit. Hey, when did Ari get here? Smiling lightly, he pulls the staff up out of the ground from his seated position, not really trusting his balance to anything complicated like 'standing' right now. "Yeah, the bottle's matrix was partially inverted. Damnedest thing." He waves lightly at Ari. "Hi, sweetheart."

Caracol says, "Nice to meet you Soma! ...the blue sea looks nice, doesn't it?" No, that's very much not an attempt at any roll into a pathetic kind of pick up line. He swings ZERO ways, that's why the relationship talk has completely lost him."

Ari sits down next to Skeeve. "Just a wave? Are you alright?" She tilts her head, concerned.

Jason_Inugami hmms a bit. He'll be the first to say his knowledge of magic is lacking as it's set to his world's standard. So he can't say much, "Might have been exposed to something." he offers to Skeeve. LEt the girl's have girl talk. If he could he'd be running himself if not for the cute blonde snuggling against him.

Soma smiles a bit, "It does, it's been awhile since I've looked over an ocean." He admits, shrugging his shoulders up. "Where exactly is this, Caracol? If you don't mind me asking?"

Violet looks around. "Hey, where'd Caracol go?" She then does spot him, then shrugs.

Caracol says, "It was my first time really getting to spend time looking at one today. I'm usually too busy when I'm around one. This? I think someone called it Neo Tokyo..." He peers back toward the others, "It is called Neo Tokyo right," he calls out curiously."

Minerva snuggles in a hair closer against Jason. "Mmm, on a beach, the air is sweet, surrounded by friends," she raises her voice, "Yes, it's Neotokyo!" then back to her previous tone, "And a guy who likes me just as much as I like him... can't think of how this could be any more perfect, or peaceful."

Skeeve, now that Ari is well within grabbing range, leans over and gives her a hug. "Just... lightheaded. Spent much longer in astral space than intended to. I'll be ok, just need to get some sugar into me." He grins broadly. "So gimme some sugar, baby."

"NeoTokyo?" Soma frowns a little at that name, sliding his hands into the pockets of his trenchcoat as he bounces that name around in his head. "I thought Randall had told me that place was destroyed."

Ari blushes a little, returning Skeeve's hug while maneuvering herself into his lap and kissing him softly. "Does that work for you?"

Caracol says, "Yeah, some guy in a Spidersuit and some other people were talking about that the first night I was looking around. Sounds like it reformed."

Violet sighs, and drops her head slightly. "Well, I'd better get back home... I need a good shower after that, and the time to dry off after that before getting to bed..."

Caracol calls, "Good night...errr...Violet!"

"I see, I guess that's just the nature of Chaos." Soma muses to himself.

Skeeve grins a little bit at that, returning Ari's kiss. "Actually, yes it does." When Vi mentions leaving, he offers the girl a wave, and in a singsong voice, adds, "Good night, Violet! Have fun on your da-ate~"

Jason_Inugami nods to Violet, "I'll get with you later when we can start working out some more. Also..have fun with the date, and don't do anything I wouldn't do."

Caracol says, "Sounds about right to me....at least time travel feels that way somedays."

Ari waves to Violet. "Yes, and afterwards we'll have girl talk and I want all the details! ALL THE DETAILS!"

Minerva mms. "I'd say don't do anything I wouldn't do, but... that leaves you far too much leeway on a first date." She giggles. "Have fun!"

Soma says, "Is that how you got here? Time Travel?"

Violet says, "Ehahah.... Well, I sure as hell hope I do have a good time! And I make no promises as to how far we do or do not go!" She winks. "Later, guys!"

Caracol says, "Ah, no, the Time Tower just kind of warped when the Badlands reformed."
