Violet is standing on the boardwalk, leaning against a guard rail as she looks out to sea.

Ari hums a bit, strolling down the boardwalk after getting out of a movie. She sees Violet, grins, and walks over to her, turning and hopping to sit on the rail next to her. "Heya!"

Violet blinks, getting snapped out of her thought process by Ari suddenly jumping on the guard rail next to where she was leaning. "Oh... uhhhh... Hey, Ari, what's up?" She looks a slight nervous, actually.

Ari giggles. "I could ask you the same thing. You were pretty zoned." she grins. "What's on your mind?"

Miriya strolls down the boardwalk, looking ... interested... at the sea.

Violet offers Ari a bit of a nervous smile. "Just... Getting a bit anxious." She holds up a hand to forestall anything Ari might say that moment. "I know, I know, I shouldn't be so nervous about a date, and I'm acting like it's the first time I've had a boyfriend or girlfriend or something. But I can't help but be nervous... I don't think I've ever been out on a Date Date, you know? I think it's the anticipation of it, when in the past, I kinda just.... hung out at random or something?"

Miriya hearing that, laughs. "you could do worse"

Ari grins at Violet. "Thats perfectly normal!" she blinks as Miriya talks. "Woah, green hair in stereo..." she shakes her head, chuckling. "It's a new experience, it's gonna be fun, you seem to really like this chick, so it should be fine!"

Miriya says, "I suffered my third defeat at the Hands of Max Jenius. on my first date. Probably a good thing since I was trying to kill him."

Violet blinks and looks over at Miriya as she speaks up. "Oh, hey, Lieutennant!" She tilts her head as an abridged tale of Miriya's first date is recounted. "Um, wow... okay, I certainly hope Alexa isn't going to try to kill me..."

Ari is sitting on the guard rail next to Violet, who is just leaning against it. "She doesn't seem the type." she shrugs.

Violet glances at Miriya. "I wouldn't peg Lieutennant Genius here as the type to try to kill someone on a date, either."

Skeeve comes strolling on down the street, putting a hand over his mouth to stifle a bone-cracking yawn as he walks.

Ari thinks a moment. "First date I was ever on... oh hell, I did kill someone. We kinda raided a corp for a date. It was pretty romantic."

Miriya smiles. "Well he and I were on opposite sides of a war at the time. And he had humiliated me. The undefeated greatest pilot of the zentradi twice before.

Violet says, "Well... you guys are not exactly instilling confidence in me with your first date tales... But at least I can be pretty sure she's not out for revenge, as I've not had any battles lately..."

Miriya says, "Well our second date went better. Max took me to meet his commander and get his blessing on our marriage."

Ari smiles at Violet while pointing to Skeeve. "Okay, on our first date, we went swimming. It was awesome. And we're still together. Granted there was a decade break, but still." She turns to Skeeve and blows him a kiss.

Skeeve, noticing the confluence of blonde and green hair over by the railing, offers a wave, mimes catching the kiss out of the air. Glancing both ways before jogging across the street, he calls out, "Good afternoon, ladies. How are we?"

Miriya nods in greeting "Hello"

Violet's left eye opens a bit wider. "That's a hell of a second date, Lieutenant!" She glances over at Skeeve. "I think I met Skeeve at a party, actually... And... Oh, that's right. A love potion or something was involved, wasn't it?"

Skeeve immediately and hurriedly interjects, "I would just like to note that I was not responsible for the love potion."

Miriya hmmms "I guess I'm remiss in saying hello to you Violet. and failing to introduce myself to your friend." She turns to Ari "Hello I'm Lt. Miriya Jenius a colleague of Commander Karrde here.

Miriya eyes Skeeve.

Miriya says, "I know we've met many times. I don't recall introductions though."

Violet says, "Yeah, yeah! I remember it was a... bottle of wine or something?" She then looks to Miriya and Ari. "Oh, sorry, this is Ari, my, uh... ex step-aunt?"

Ari laughs a bit. "I keep forgetting you two dated." She peers at Skeeve " Oh really? Maybe I should start pouring my own drinks?" she winks. Turning to Miriya, she smiles. "I'm Ari, elf of awesomeness, and Violet's former step-aunt. Nice to meet you! Possibly again, I don't remember.

Miriya says, "Neither for myself."

Skeeve coughs once, flushing a nice scarlet colour. "Not all the mayhem that happens 'round these parts is my fault, you know. Only about sixty percent. But, you know, things worked out in the end."

Violet says, "Yeah, yeah. It wore off eventually and of course there wasn't any real spark keeping us actually together after that, so..." She shrugs. "No harm done in the end, and I can't say it wasn't fun at the time."

Miriya smiles wistfully "I miss max, and my daughter... well the one I have actually born so far.

Ari keeps peering at Skeeve. Because reasons. But she can't keep it up and breaks out into a grin, beckoning Skeeve over for a hug.

Skeeve just chuckles weakly at that, slipping his arms lightly around Ari's shoulders. "So, how did we get on the topic, anyway? It's too much for even my ego to bear to think that you were just standing around talking about me."

Violet offers Miriya a weak smile. "I'm sorry you've gotten pulled away from your loved ones... It must be torture..."

Miriya nods "It's hard. I wish there was a way back home. Watching macross anime and seeing what I WOULD have done is painful too.

Ari kisses Skeeve on the cheek. "Long story short, Violet's nervous about her date." she grins.

Violet says, "Ehhhh, more short story shorter."

Skeeve's colour slowly goes back to normal. "Ahhh, I see. I think you're gonna be just fine, Vi. I have a sense for these kinds of things." He offers a sympathetic look to Miriya. "It can be tough, being away like that. I don't want to say it stops hurting, but... it does get easier with time."

Miriya nods "It has, I suppose. My Squadron is like a family. Almost like being in the fleet again. but now I know what I was missing then.

Ari is not joining the family talk because.. well, more reasons. She kind of looks down at her feet and kicks at the guard rail.

Violet offers Miriya a smile. "Just remember, you're not alone out there, even if you're not with who you'd want to be with."

Skeeve hugs Ari a little closer, not saying anything, just kind of being there.

Miriya smiles gently "I'm aware of that. I appreciate the sentiment though.

Ari leans into Skeeve a little. "So! Happier topic! Go!" she chuckles just a little.

Miriya says, "I did find a picture of my family which is a comfort " she pulls a photo out of her purse.

Skeeve shrugs lightly at that "I got most of the wards on the fence done this morning, so that's an accomplishment." He leans in a little to look at the family photo. "That's... a hell of a lot of kids."

Miriya says, "unfortunately I don't really know them. I arrived here before something could happen to me. I still can't imagine myself in civilian politics."

Ari blinks. "Wards for what? Were we expecting an evil wizard invasion or something?" She looks at the pic as well, smiling. "Ahh! Baby!" She bounces a little.

Miriya says, "The littlest one is here and mostly grown up.... and apparently affraid of me."

Miriya says, "At any rate Violet, my first date led to love and marriage, so who knows?"

Violet says, "Your first date also lead to attempted murder."

Miriya says, "A Duel more like."

Ari chuckles. "Mine was murder. Well, assassination, so kind of the same thing. Guy was a total jerkwad, though.

Skeeve snorts lightly at that. "Well, you know, you can never be too careful, Ari." He grins a little bit at Violet's quip, shaking his head a little bit. "We don't lead simple lives, do we?"

Violet sighs and raises her hands in defeat. "Fine. Fine. It'll be wonderful and amazing and somehow we'll have lots of babies despite the fact that we're both women."

Miriya ponders "A simple life would be boring, and without glory.

Ari grins at Violet. "Well, there is adoption. So total possibility.

Miriya nods "My Eighth was adopted.

Violet says, "....Why would you adopt at eight? I mean, holy cow, Miriya..." Yeah, she slipped up in addressing her by rank while Miriya is in uniform, but this doesn't seem the conversation to keep military decorum."

Skeeve just laughs a little bit at that. "Trust me, Vi, I know women. And this Alexa girl? She is totally into you. As long as you keep it cool, and just be yourself, everything will go swimmingly." He and the others are standing by the guardrail that keeps passers-by from falling onto the beach.

Miriya says, "She needed guidance. She was already an ace pilot as child, it took max and I both to defeat her."

Ari raises a brow at Skeeve. "You know women, hm?"

Miriya says, "Or so I understand. Afterall I haven't done this yet. I just know it happened from the uh... nerds...in my squadron."

Violet says, "Oh, right... How did it go with the guy that was stealing underwear?"

Skeeve says, just a touch defensively, but still smiling, "Okay, well, perhaps it would be more accurate to say 'I'm good at reading people', but, women are a subset of people. I'm not wrong, at least."

Violet nods to Skeeve. "Thanks, man... Thanks."

Miriam meanders down the boardwalk, tinkering with some sort of delicate, bronze... thingie. Being who she is, she seems to be completely engrossed in her fiddling, right up until she walks, quite literally, full-force and face-first into Skeeve. She stops, obviously, and blinks, "Oh. There you are. I think I sorted this silly thing out, the threes were all askew." She looks around, apparently having been oblivious, "Oh, um. Hi!"

Miriya growls "First I recovered my panties. Then I set him latrine duties...after a bit of... physical redirection.

Miriya says, "Unfortunately he seemed to enjoy that last."

Violet says, "...I'd have shoved him out an airlock."

Violet says, "....i-in a space suit!"

Miriya says, "Oh that happens to everyone when we do SERE drills."

Ari sticks her tongue out at Skeeve "Oh take a joke." She beams when she sees Miriam, then winces as she runs into Skeeve, then bounces over for a hug.

Violet says, "Well, you do it to him when he'd normally have dirtside time."

Violet looks over at the elf that runs into Skeeve, then raises an eyebrow at the reaction they all seem to have to each other. "Hello."

Miriya says, "He doesn't get dirtside time for a while now. I was tempted to have him brigged."

Miriya notes the collision and waves politely at the new comer

Skeeve laughs a little bit at that, scrubbing the back of his head, when he's bumped into abruptly. Turning, as Ari bounds over to sweep her into a hug, he laughs, saying teasingly, "Hey there, Miri. Nice to run into you again." Glancing over at Violet and Miriya, he adds, "This is Miriam, my familiar. Miriam, this is Violet, and this is Miriya. They're with the NTSDF."

Violet says, "Oh, hey, I've... vaguely heard of you."

Miriya nods again "pleased to meet you."

Miriam grins and hugs Ari, "Hi!" After a moment's pause, she drags Skeeve into the hug as well. Grinning, she replies, "Indeed." she pauses, and looks at her gadget again, "Though I think I've just buggered up the 13 to the 89." She frowns, then shrugs, and turns to the two ladies of the military, "Hello! Nice to meet you!"

Skeeve glurks a little bit as he's tugged off balance again by Miriam, still chuckling. "So... what are you working on, anyway?

Ari kind of sighs happily for a moment in the hug for a moment, then blinks at Miriam's contraption. "Oh no, last time you fiddled with something you disappeared.." she tries to back away slowly.

Violet says, "Buggered up the what to the what?"

Miriam grins, pulling her little gizmo out of the huggy-ness, "I'm still poking at that sequencer. I'm hoping it'll help sort out what happened..." She grins, "Well, yes, but that time the 196418 was all bent up. I've reinforced that since." And yes, she's carrying on as if this makes sense to everyone there, context or no.

Ari just kind of scoots behind Skeeve and hides. Just in case. Because, of course, reasons.

Miriya arches an eyebrow and takes a casual looking step back.

Skeeve ahhhs, recognizing the device now. "Oh, the Fibonacci sequencer." Explaining, for those who don't speak Miriamese, "When we first got back to NeoTokyo, we were trying to see if we could figure out exactly what happened. After all, it's not every day that universes disappear and then reappear a decade later as though nothing had changed." He shoots a reassuring looking smile to the other women. "It's okay, it's not gonna send anything anywhere."

Violet says, "...As if nothing happened my ass..."

Miriya says, "That IS an oddity, from my perspective I did not 'disappear' but it is strange that it is 2016 now."

Ari blinks. "Am I one of the few time actually did pass for? I mean, I lived the past ten years. I'm.."she shudders. "Ten years older."

Miriam shakes her head, "Of course not. It's a numbers generator, and a little fiddly, and helps keep track of natural order. If I wanted a teleport, I could just do that." She blinks, "Well, that little button didn't used to be there. I wonder if that..." she stops, and stows the device in the thin air behind her, where it just disappears, "Better?" She smiles cheerily, then looks to Miriya and Violet, "You didn't get shunted?"

Violet says, "...I had two years elsewhere..."

Ari says, "Well, we were in MU, but... After my family er.." she hesitates a minute, figuring out the words. "Moved... time still passed normally."

Ari steps back over to Miriam and leans on her.

Miriya says, "it's like yesterday I was rearguard on the mass Exodus from here."

Skeeve adds, "Those of us who left, Ari, time still moved on for us. Those who stayed, or couldn't evacuate NeoTokyo during the Collapse... for them it's as if no time passed. But they're all still alive, so really, it's tough to ask for more than that." He shoots Miriam a Look at the mention of the button, but grins lightly.

Miriam hugs Ari tight, "We had a lot of time. I don't know quite how much..." she holds up bare wrists, as if to demonstrate a lack of watch and... maybe calendar, too? "But there was time. I'm glad you're still here. That's a very good thing."

Violet shudders. "Had I known it would just turn out like this... I'd not have fought so hard."

Miriya says, "It's always necessary to fight at your best."

Violet says, "....Everything I lost in that last fight... none of it's back."

Miriya says, "Loss can come with change, Change is inevitable. But always fight to win."

Violet leans back onto the guard rail, looking down at the beach below with a bit of a scowl, actually.

Ari puts her arms around Miriam and smiles. "I'm glad you're here too." She blinks at Violet. "What's wrong, Violet?"

Miriya looks out at the ocean "I never get tired of planet side views. I was born in a vat riding the stars.

Violet says, "It's just... No. I don't quite have the same viewpoint as Skeeve on this. No, not everyone's still alive." She looks back up at the others again. "I have one oof my friends from before that I've seen since I've been here. And I've barely seen her at all." She sighs, shaking her head. "Don't get me wrong... I'm grateful that I've made new friends, but... I miss my old ones... there's just no sign of them."

Miriya just sighs. ... "Max..."

Skeeve nods a little bit at that, looking down at the ground for a moment. "Yeah... I guess I see what you mean. Sorry, Violet, I have this bad habit of speaking before I think. I'm sure they're out there somewhere, though."

Miriam nods a little, still hugging Ari, "That makes sense. Could it be that they're just not back yet?

Violet sighs. "Somehow, I doubt it."

Violet says, "Oh, god, sorry, Miriya... At least I wasn't married to someone..."

Violet says, "Hey, uh.... I need to go get ready. I've got the future to think about, rather than the past today." She offers up a smile that's probably a bit weak, but it's getting there."

Ari grins at Violet, still hugging MIriam. "See? That's a good thing! Positive thoughts, right! Especially since you really seem to like her. You'll have fun!

Miriya shrugs. "sorry for being Melancholy I at least I can hope that somewhere somehow I'm with Max and raising a family. I still don't know about City politics though. How'd I even get to be Mayor?

Violet says, "Maybe mayorship is trial by dogfight combat? Er, yeah, I'd better go get ready... Bye!"

Skeeve nods decisively at that, offering a big thumbs up to Violet. "I've got a good feeling. Take it easy, Vi, but not too easy~!" He blinks a few times at Miriya, "Wait, you're the mayor?"

Miriam pets Ari's hair, and nods. After a moment, she smiles, "Life throws curve balls sometimes, maybe you're mayor becuase you were the best person possible for the job - even if you didn't know it?"

Miriya shakes her head. "Not here. but according to my sources I'm Mayor of Macross 7 in 2034"

Ari smiles and kinda melts a little, putting her head on Miriam's shoulder. "I was about to say.. I mean, I know we have the police and all, but no clue we actually had a government or anything. I though we just kinda.. I don't know, made it work?

Miriya frowns. "Who pays for the police? Or for that matter... Us?

Skeeve can't help but laugh a little bit at that, idly resting hands on Miriam and Ari's shoulders. "What little I know about NT's politics is, honestly, pretty dysfunctional. I'm sure there's some mysterious individual out there with his or her finger on the chequebook, and it's not suspicious at all." He nods once. Surely he's not serious.

Miriam blinks, "I... I'd never really thought about it, honestly. Are we sure thinking about it isn't going to unravel everything?"

Ari winces a little. "Yes, let's not let the universe unravel... again...

Skeeve laughs cheerily at that, abruptly. "Trust me, if just thinking about logical contradictions was enough to unravel an entire plane, there'd be nothing left in the entire multiverse. I think we're safe."

Ari lets out a small sigh of relief. "Good, 'cause I don't wanna spend another ten years without you two."

Miriya hmmms "So what do you do?

Miriam nods, "I suppose that's a good thing. I don't want to undo everything." She hugs Ari some more, "Agreed." She blinks, "Um... I fly sometimes? And I move boxes?

Ari blinks and suddenly remembers something. "Oh no, I think I left the oven on!" she suddenly runs off.

Skeeve can't help but snicker a little bit at that. "I'm a wizard for hire. General troubleshooting, really; if you've got a problem, I can find you a solution." He blinks a few times, as Ari starts sprinting off, sweatdropping, "But... she doesn't even cook... why is the oven on?"

Miriya says, "I wouldn't know. I don't cook much either."

Miriam blinks and watches, "Maybe pottery?" she shrugs, and figures Ari knows what she's doing, "What do I do, Skeeve?"

Skeeve shakes his head a little bit, then smiles. Chucking Miriam under the chin lightly, he says, "You're our resident expert on all things faerie. Also, you're really cute."

Miriya nods and looks awkward... "so..."

Miriam nods sagely, "I can do that. Faerie expert works." She smiles cheerily, "What do you do with the NTSDF, Miriya?"

Skeeve looks a little confused by Miriya's awkward expression. Still, he gamely sallies forth. "Didn't you say you were a squadron leader? What's that like?"

Miriya says, "I fly a veritech and direct my wingmates in battle... oh and administrative duties when not flying."

Miriya sighs. "There is a lot of paperwork in running a squadron."

Miriam nods, "That's the least fun part - the paperwork." she pulls a face, "But flying must be fun, right?"

Skeeve nods sympathetically at that. "That's the problem with being in charge... all the god damned bureaucracy." He sighs lightly. "Veritechs are the ones that change between birds and people, right?"

Miriya says, "even after discovering the charms of Micronian culture I live for it. I can't believe I'd let myself be ground bound."

Miriya says, "Yes they have three forms. A jet, a battloid that is humanoid, and a hybrid form that has it's own advantages."

Miriam blinks and peers at Skeeve, astonished, then her expression clears as Miriya explains, "OH! A jet! Not actually a real bird with feathers."

Skeeve snaps his fingers. "Jet! That was the word I was looking for..." He chuckles a little. "Sorry, I still have a the occasional bit of problem when it comes to words for all this technology stuff."

Miriya laughs "No not a real bird."

Ari runs back, looking rather embarassed. "So! Totally forgot I had a cold salad today and well, I don't cook, so... Yeah, the oven wasn't on."

Miriam giggles, "That would explain a lot." Whether she's referring to the state of Ari's lunch, Skeeve's vocabulary challenges, or Miriya's flying craft... yeah, that's left unclear.

Skeeve can't help but chuckle a little bit at that. "Welcome back, sweetheart. Good to see you didn't burn the place down with your salad." He's clearly teasing.

Miriya winces.

Ari jabs Skeeve in the side, albeit playfully, then goes back to leaning on Miriam. "That would be unfortunate, considering we just got the place."

Miriam smiles and hugs Ari, "We'd have to go hunt down another house!"

Skeeve urks a little bit, rubbing his waist, but he's got a big grin on his face. "Yeah, and I think we're out of ammo."

Miriya says, "Ammunition? for house hunting?"

Ari grins. "Yes, for house hunting. They grow wild around here." she nods, chuckling.

Miriya says, "Do you live in the badlands?"

Skeeve laughs a little bit at that. "No, no, just down the road. Thankfully, we were able to avoid those weird hell-house things."

Miriya looks confused. "Why do you need ammunition to secure a home?"

Miriam blushes faintly, "It's really a nice house. And I still think it would explain the streets."

Ari giggles. "It's the best house. Just perfect."

Miriya looks confused. Why do you need ammunition to secure a home?

Skeeve laughs a little, idly ruffling a hand through Miriam's hair. "Just a bit of a misunderstanding. When we were first looking for a place, or 'househunting', Miriam thought we were referring to hunting, like when you go out into the woods and go find animals to eat."

Miriya says, "Ah... an easy confusion."

Ari giggles. "We had to promise there was no bloodshed." she hugs Miriam a little tighter.

Miriam bursts out, "It would absolutely explain the streets! If people shot their houses and lived in them where they fell, then built the streets around them it would make sense!"

Miriya says, "the streets are... counter intuitive."

Ari ponders a moment. "There's a horror movie script in there somewhere...

Skeeve snickers a little bit. "Well, stuff does occasionally just drop out of the sky here, Mirichan, so who knows?" Grinning, he moves to hop up onto the railing, kicking his feet a little. "In a world, where houses live..."

Ari says, "Wait, would that make garden sheds like, baby houses or something?"

Miriya says, "perhaps a different species?"

Ari says, "I think that would be houseboats, maybe."

Miriam blinks, "There are houses that are also boats?" She sighs, "This is so weird."

Skeeve grins a little bit at that. "More like boats that have all the amenities of houses. They're probably best considered boats first."

Ari nods. "What he said. " She chuckles,

Miriya says, "Micronians are very diverse and colourful"

Miriam sighs, "It's still weird." She pauses, "Can we get one of those sometime?"

Ari blinks. "Oooh, there's a thought!"

Skeeve blinks a few times. "What, a micronian?" He glances over at Miriya. "I think that, technically, by her definition, we are the Micronians."

Miriya nods "All most all non-Zentradi are Micronians. and zentradi culture is comparably simple, uniform, and well colourless. That's why Micronian Culture was such a revelation to us.

Miriam wrinkles her nose, "No, I think we have enough people for now. Where would we put new people?" she pauses, then continues, "A BOAT-HOUSE!"

Skeeve ahhhhhhhs. "Oh, I see... well, I have always wanted a spelljammer... well, another one anyway. First one crashed."

Ari giggles. "Wait, a spellwhatnow? Is this more magic stuff I'm not gonna understand?

Skeeve spreads his hands wide, as though a magician revealing the results of his trick. "Picture a majestic ship, sailing the sea of stars..."

Miriam nods. If it means a boathouse, she's good.

Ari wrinkles her nose, thinking. "So.. it's a spaceship.

Skeeve says, "Except, way more awesome, because it's also a boat. And an airship."

Miriya arches an eyebrow.

Miriam cocks her head to the side, "So, it's a flying boathouse?"

From the North, Violet can be seen walking back towards the group again. Yes, a fresh change of clothes and... what's this? She's even wearing makeup? That's almost unheard of with Violet! But yes, she's actually wearing lipstick, eyeshadow, and...is that blush? Might be, or maybe she's just blushing as she's walking along. Hard to say, really. The eyeliner, however, actually can be seen on Violet fairly often, so that's less surprising than the rest.

Ari says, "That's what it sounds like to me."

Miriya Waves to violet. "I see you are prepared for your date"

Skeeve nods a little bit at that. "Pretty much, yeah." Murmuring a quiet illusion spell, he creates the image of an elven spelljammer, floating in the air between his hands. "Kinda like this. It's a classy ride." He looks up as Miriya waves, and whistles lightly. He manages to restrain himself from saying anything crude, at least.

Miriya says, "That...defies physics"

Miriam doesn't know Violet well enough to grok the difference. She does, however, wave as she returns. She eyes the boathouse for a moment, "Does it flap?"

Ari whistles low at Violet. "Looking good!" she grins, then looks at the ship. "Same question. About the flapping."

Skeeve, after a moment, manages to regain his composure. "Sorry, got distracted... um... well, yes, it defies physics. As I've come to understand it, that's what magic is good at. And no, the sails don't flap. They're for atmospheric flight; the spelljamming helm really only works best in either phlogiston or a vacuum."

Miriya says, "Does the crew wear spacesuits?"

Miriam thinks about that, not noticing Skeeve's pause, or possibly just being used to it by now. She nods decisively, "Yes, one of those would be lovely. Is the bottom part the house part, then?"

Ari doesn't seem to notice the pause either. " And it can go pretty much anywhere?

Violet says, "Ehehehh..... thanks..." Well, if she's wearing blush, she probably didn't need to, because her face just got redder. "So, um....What's this thing then?" she asks of Skeeve's illusion."

Violet says, "Er, no, wait, no, Uh, I'll see you guys later!" Yeah, it's kinda adorable how nervous she is about this. She runs off towards the center of town!"

Ari grins and waves after Violet.. "Remember, I want details!"

Skeeve shakes his head at that. "No spacesuits. The helm generates a gravity line, usually along the bottom of the top deck there, and whenever the 'jammer enters an atmosphere, it carries local oxygen with it. And yeah, you'd probably want to live in the bottom part there. Living on deck would get rainy whenever you were on a planet. They can fly in the air, and they're best at surface water landings... well, elven ships are anyway, but I wouldn't try to take this underwater." He grins a little at Violet... well, Violet's retreating form, calling after her, "Better not see you home before one am, young lady!"

Ari blinks at that. "Wait.. wait.. wait.... this is ELVEN??

Violet says, "Fine, fine! I'll see you guys tomorrow, unless this is a less fortunate repeat of Miriya's first date!" And then she's gone.
