In the cockpit of Outrider, Violet sits in the copilot's seat. Her hands are off the controls; in fact, her elbows are on the console and her hands are clasped together as she leans her lower face against them. "You know... I wonder sometimes... are we really the good guys? Or are we just... a neutral party at best?"

Alexa smiles, leaning over to give Violet a kiss on the cheek. "You're a good guy in my eyes, darlin'. The crew that ditched me? Bad. Not necessarily evil, but bad. Neutral would have been me if'n I'd never joined up. Maybe still, I don't know.

Violet frowns... not at the kiss, mind you. No, that gets her to brighten up for a moment. "Yeah, but... we're still ditching people in the Badlands instead of, I don't know, actually letting the courts deal with them? I hired a freaking bounty hunter to watch the room we locked them up in." Meanwhile, outside the cargo hold, the red armored figure stands motionless, facing the locked door. Back in the cockpit, Violet sighs slightly. "I... don't know what happened back at the Kraken, Love. It's like... a completely different side of me came out there for a minute."

Alexa shakes her head. "You ain't the one who pulled a gun there, love. I... lost it." she sighs. "About them, though, I sure ain't gonna cry over leavin' 'em the way they left me.

Violet nods slowly. "That's why I also still wanna give them their guns back when we drop 'em off. They left you with yours."

Alexa nods. "One bullet each." she says, white-knuckling the steering a bit as she grits her teeth. "I got no sympathy for 'em. But if it makes you uncomfortable, beautiful, I can handle it myself." Her face softens a bit as she looks at Violet. "I don't want anythin' restin' on your conscience you ain't comfortable with.

Violet nods. "I guess I shouldn't be too worried. You made it through just fine, afterall. It... wouldn't surprise me if they turned on each other, though." She frowns for a moment, then says, "I guess that's part of what worries me the most. While this is 'fair' in that it's what they did to you... it still might be a death sentence... or it might be making it so they just walk out in a week or two and they immediately come gunning for us." She's not worried about them getting the Katarina back. That's off on an NTSDF base by now... and there are worse things for them to steal there, if they were actually that good.

Alexa is quiet for a moment. "Darlin'... do you know why they leave you with a bullet? It ain't because they want you to defend yourself." she sighs. "It's so that when you feel like you can't take it, you take the coward's way out." She makes the 'gun' figure and puts it to her temple. "They know it's a death sentence. They didn't know they were dumpin' me in the Badlands, they just thought it was some wasteland planet where I couldn't make it. The point was for me to die. The joke was on them, though, 'cause I found my life." she says, reaching over to squeeze Violet's hand.

Violet smiles at the squeeze on her hand, then looks back to Alexa fully. "You found both of our lives, Love." She then does look out the viewscreen again, frowning once more. "...I honestly don't want them to take that coward's way out, though. I... want them to fight, for some reason." She shoves her lips to the side, then adds, "I guess there's a part of me that thinks they can find their way out and find a new life like you did. But the pragmatist says if they make it out, we'll need to watch our backs."

Alexa looks back out the front of Outrider, shaking her head. "I tried to tell 'em that takin' jobs that hurt innocent people ain't the way to go. I tried to get them to leave me somewhere I can find a new crew. They didn't take that approach. If we drop 'em deep enough, they ain't gonna find their way back. Even if they did, they ain't gonna make good with it. They're bad people, Violet. The kind that can't change.

Violet sighs and nods. "Yeah... I know. But don't go too deep in there. I don't want us getting lost, too." She gazes out the viewscreen with a slightly worried look. "This place does weird things. You know I've never heard of anyone else running into that land carrier we fought off? We didn't destroy it or anything. They should still be out there, but..."

Alexa shakes her head a little. "I ain't concerned, love. I got lucky and got left relatively near the entrance. Only took three days to get out. But now I know what can be out there, and they don't. They don't know how to fly or drive a damned thing outside the Katarina.

Violet says, "It's not them I'm concerned about right now, Love. If we go too far out, I'm saying the Badlands itself might take us. This is supposed to be some weird dimensional lost space or something. It's why so much weird stuff shows up here." She points out the window at a red, three fingered giant with a monobrow wearing a karate gi. "...You know. Like that thing. Whatever it is.""

Alexa smirks. "Darlin', you've met you, right? Me, yeah, if we get attacked I ain't going anywhere. You? You can handle it. You're amazin' like that.

Violet smirks and nods. "Yeah, I know. And it was like... the old me showed up the other night, too. I swear, I've not felt that cocky since... well, before I can remember, in a literal kinda way." The smirk fades, however, as she clarifies further. "But I'm talking more about how if we go in too deep, we might come out in another universe."

Violet can't help but smirk. "But you did pick me out." She glances out the window again, looking around for a possible landing spot. She swings the chair to the side, switching on the lower turret to use its camera to find a suitable landing spot. "Ah, here we go. Tagging a spot." She marks the spot in the system to come up on Alexa's displays, then opens fire around it to hopefully clear out anything that might be lurking nearby.

Alexa blows a kiss to her wife before starting the landing procedure, turning to pay attention to the displays. "I like to think we picked each other out, beautiful."

Violet smirks. "I was smart enough to catch who I should buy a drink for and smart enough to realize you were into me."

Alexa raises a brow and looks at Violet, laughing. "Well, to be fair, I was about a subtle as a ton of bricks. I mean, I did know the first time we kissed that I was gonna marry you. Told ya as much."

Violet smirks before winking. "I think I said something about wanting to wait until we'd been together for at least a year? Yeah, that didn't last, did it?" She laughs and stands up from her seat as she feels the ship set down. "Well. I say we get this over with so we can make our way back home... or at least so we can have the ship to ourselves.

Alexa grins and quickly stands up and steps behind Violet, slipping her arms around her wife's waist for a moment to kiss her neck, albeit briefly. "You just couldn't resist me..." she chuckles.

Violet leans back into Alexa. "Hell no I couldn't," she says. "Still can't. You're too damn good to me."

Alexa doesn't let go quite yet, raising up on her toes a little to kiss Violet's cheek. "I ain't good enough, but I'm gonna try for the rest of my life, darlin'. Now, let's go take out the trash so we can celebrate."

Violet smirks and steps forward. "Let's," she says as she makes her way to the cargo hold, giving the red armored figure a wary look before turning back to Alexa again. "Well... do you want to do the honors? Or shall our friend here do it?"

Violet says, "...And by honors I mean open the door to let them out." >.>

Alexa grins. "Let him. I just want to watch them stumble and beg not to get left like they watched me." she says, almost gleefully.

Gonthri Fei turns his head to face Alexa and nods once before stepping forward to open the hatch.

The crew of the Katarina stumbles out of the hatch, looking around rather confused at their new surroundings. Alexa just stands and watches them, stonefaced, even as they start to plead up to her.

Gonthri Fei steps in the way between the crew and Alexa, holding out a bladed gauntlet between them. "Your fate has already been descided. The same mercy you showed her," he says, voice deep and heavily filtered. From their perspective, it could be questionable if he's even human, especially given the armor's tail.

Violet, for her part, clears her throat, glaring at them with her arms crossed. "You will be given every courtesy that you gave my wife. One gun each. One bullet each. We'll kick you out of the ship, then toss you the guns." She then grins a bit maniacally. "Oh, do give us reason to literally kick you off the ship..."

Alexa smirks as she taps her boot on the side of the ship, making a satisfying clang. "I wore the steel-toes just in case that happens."

The Katarina crew gulp. Not at the sentence, but at the big armored guy reminding them. The captain pleads with Alexa one more time, but the space cowgirl makes some sort of gesture which is probably like flipping them the bird. He relents and backs off.

Violet jerks her head to the side, towards the hatch. "Fei, keep them covered."

"Understood," says the heavily filtered voice as he raises an arm that promises to have some sort of weapon hidden inside one of the ports on it. "You are going to follow them," the voice says again as Violet starts making her way to the hatch.

Alexa follows a few steps behind Violet, trying not to smile. Really not the time or the place. "What's the plan, darlin'?

Violet says, "Plan? I was hoping you had something of a plan? If it's up to me, we either let them walk themselves out or chuck them out, then we throw them their guns out and shut the hatch and fly away."

Alexa nods. "I don't want to touch them. I got standards. However, let's make sure the guns and bullets are thrown separate, at like twelve feet apart from each other.

Violet chuckles and nods. "Oh, yeah." She slaps the control to open the hatch and lower the ramp, then looks back at the crew. "So. What's it going to be? Walk out with dignity? Or shoved out uncerimoniously?"

The armored figure adds, "They pay me more if you actually try to fight back. It won't matter to me what you choose."

Three of them reluctantly start walking out. One of them, though (the only other woman), starts freaking out, shaking her head as she attempts to run back into the bowels of the ship. "I ain't goin'! I ain't!"

Gonthri Fei raises an arm up to clothesline the woman, while also whiping the tail around at her legs to trip her up.

Violet looks at the woman coldly. "Then you shouldn't have just stood by when the rest of your crew did it to my wife." In the event that she gets past the bounty hunter, she will dash off after her herself.

Of course she doesn't. The crewmember gets clotheslined, tripped, and lands flat on her back. Alexa blinks at Violet. "Darlin', I just got chills when you said that.

Gonthri Fei picks the woman up bodily by an arm and steps to the door to uncerimoniously throw her out. Violet, on the other hand, looks a little nervous. "...I... was that a good chills or a bad one?" She looks like she's deifnitely afraid that she might have actually managed to scare Alexa there for a moment. The bounty hunter simply aims both hands in the general direction of the now disembarked crew... one of the ports on his arms now producing a small tongue of flame, promising far more fire if the crew tries anything.

Alexa doesn't say anything at first, just pulls Violet to her and kisses her. "Very good chills." she smirks. The crew has now all admitted defeat, mostly out of fear of the bounty hunter than anything else.

This is why Violet hired him! She didn't actually want to go through the trouble of beating them up. She almost giggles into the kiss, then does pull herself out a moment into it letting a finger roll up under Alexa's chin as she steps away. "All right. Let's throw them their guns and then four bullets, then forget these guys even exist."

Alexa grins, shivering a bit from Violet's touch. "That is music to my ears, darlin'. Is it too late to switch 'em out with blanks?

Violet says, "Unless you had some lying around, yeah. I don't keep blanks around, myself." She unlocks the gun locker and pulls out the guns they removed from the Katarina's crew, handling them like something she very much doesn't want to touch, though she does open up the chambers to make sure they're empty. "They gave you an actual bullet, though, so I say we give them actual bullets." The guns confirmed to be unloaded, she walks back to the hatch and dumps them down the ramp, kicking them in the crew's general direction."

Alexa can't help but smirk again. "Do the bullets actually have to be inside the guns?" she asks, appearing somewhat serious.

Violet waves a hand dismissively. "You kiddin' me?" She walks back to the storage compartment and picks up four bullets. "No. How far you wanna chuck 'em?" she asks with a smirk.

Alexa laughs. "I think you got the better arm, darlin'. Let 'em scramble." she grins trying to keep it professional at the moment. Well, about as professional as Alexa can be at the moment. "If'n we're really lucky, we may see a mutiny. Though I wonder... if you lose your ship, do you lose your title?

Violet shrugs nonchalantly as she walks over to the top hatch to climb onto the top of the ship. "Well... depends on why you have the title. Sometimes it's being the leader of the group, sometimes it's about your ability on the ship, sometimes it's your assigned role given by a higher power. I'd lose being called captain without Phoenix by the rest of her crew," she says when she's on top so she can be heard by those down below (who are of course still being covered by the armored bounty hunter). "But a mutiny, yeah, could be interesting. We are, afterall, giving them four bullets to share between them, not one each." With that said, she chucks the bullets with a fair bit of her strength, sending them out in a spread a good hundred feet or so out. They are still light and she's not rifling them, of course, so the air catches them. "Close the hatch, I think it's time we blast outta here."

Alexa nods a little. "Darlin', you know I love you and would do anythin' you say..." she smirks. (But this is right up there with one of my favorite days."

Violet closes the upper hatch after climbing down, then reaches over to grab Alexa's waist and pulling her in closer with a smirk in return. "Well then, Let's get to the cockpit so we can get our bounty hunter friend to a decent dropoff point and have the ship to ourselves." Meanwhile, said bounty hunter, whose armor picks up sound very well, rolls his eyes under his armor as he, too, can't help but smile a bit. Of course, none of that is actually visable, instead he just appears completely stoic, despite the fact that no one can actually see him right now.

Alexa smiles brightly. "Beautiful, that sounds like the perfect end to a perfect day." she says, happily leaning into Violet's arms. "It really don't get much better than this. Fer me, anyway."

Violet smirks and picks Alexa up in her arms, carrying her bridal style into the cockpit... where she puts her back into the captain's chair before plopping herself into the co-pilot's seat. A short carry, but the sooner Alexa pilots them out and they're alone again, the better, as far as Violet is concerned. . o O ( Maybe I shouldn't have hired him? ) "Set course for home, Love."
