If you decide you might like a t-shirt or mug with the Vesuvius emblem, we've added a link to the store in the main address bar just to the right of search. We aren't money hungry, we're not trying to get you guys to throw away your paychecks. I've just had that store running for so long that I often forget it exists and since it relates to the subject matter it made sense to toss it up on the bar.

Should you decide you want something similar but different than the products listed or would like to see a custom variation of anything let me know and I'll see if I can't accomplish that for you.

There is also an Outpost 17 store. You can view it from the store page of http://www.marrowproductions.com

Theme work is done. I hope you all like the new website layout. There are a few site-specific features that need ironed out but I'll hopefully get to them soon. My current todo list is (in no particular order):

* Check for remaining default text on pages

If you come across something that needs to be updated that's not on my list, please send me a message so I can get it taken care of. Feel free to take care of these if you have the ability.

Commander Hax stares at the readout on the Engineering console, biting her lip thoughtfully. She expected a bigger improvement on the warp nacelle output after her latest modifications but for some reason nothing has changed. With a bit of annoyance she taps the display as if doing so might somehow…

The good doctor of the USS Vesuvius has taken great care to get Sickbay to his standards without the assistance of the Engineering crew. Alexander Rebane stands in the darkness of what was once a fully functional Sickbay upon a Constitution Class Starship. Now? It's a dark room that is…

The coffee on Jonathon's desk steamed lightly as the man reviewed the file on the latest officer to arrive on board. It was certainly an interesting file. Lieutenant Mark Galpin had a checkered past of success and major fumbles. Described by his last commander as a genius pilot but an…

Mission: Shakedown Cruise

Stepping off of the turbolift on Deck 2 always manages to make Yoiko feel nervous. Any other place on the ship and she'd be fine, but ever since Captain Munster decided it was a good idea to convert some unused Science labs over to his office and galley she can't…

Jonathon puts his coffee cup down in disgust, "Ugh...cold." He sighs and scrolls down on the monitor he is studying. He was waiting for his new Chief of Science to arrive at his office. Her file was one of Jon's favorites, not only did her background have much in common…

Chief Navigator’s Log - Stardate 5048.55

The Concord docked this morning at Outpost 17 and I have arrived to assume my position as chief navigator on board the Vesuvius. After my arrival I had the pleasure to meet some of my fellow navigators who were enjoying some r-and-r in the…

Despite lowering the radiation output to the Warp Engines by 80%, we still can't seem to optimise the maximum output by a substantial amount. Currently the new warp design is only marginally better in our simulations as compared to the standard build. Somehow in taking the engines from the planning…

I haven't made any personal logs since the upgrade to the new system, so I guess I'll count this like the first of the current set. I think I was in the 800's before the accident.

With everything that happened this new system has heightened security and can only be…

Captain's Log, Stardate five zero four seven point nine seven.

I finished speaking with Ensign Alcide Rennan earlier this afternoon. I fear I might have seemed almost confrontational with him about his abilities, but I wanted to drive home the point about not intentionally seeking through people's minds. I understand…

It has been a couple of days since the Captain and myself had a meeting. My suspicions about the "accident" were well founded. My impressions of the Captain were a bit unfounded. Yes he is an…
