Public Opinion - Unused accounts

In trying to weed out the number of possible spam bots who've already created accounts on the forum, I've begun to ponder a really simple question: Should we simply go ahead and delete accounts who've never made a post on the forum? It would remove any and all spam bots who are already here and force people who've never posted to create a new account should they feel the need to have one.

Personally I think it's rather redundant to keep these pointless accounts as there's nothing to gain by having an account and not using it.

If it's possible, how about any account that is banned first and then see how many are left. I'll even go through the list after that and ban any other spam accounts so we only have real members left.

>_> The banned accounts should have already been cleared out unless I missed something, but we're sitting on almost 300 accounts who've never posted anything and include fears like "uuliiilo" and "iladugu". It's a pain in the butt to go through the list manually, which is why I thought of just clearing out of the empties.

There are still accounts listed in the banned list, so I guessed they weren't deleted. I guess if someone really wants to have an account they can just re-register.
