Isolated Khufu Soundtracks

The series has moved on from VHS to DVDs and mobile apps, but are they really better? Reviews, questions, and general discussion about them go here.

Isolated Khufu Soundtracks

Feel free to check my other Gatekeeper soundtrack post for the explanation.

The only difference was that the DVD footage was much harder to gain. It was all choppy, instead of being able to use the raw DVD files. I toyed for weeks on VLC to try and find an alternative to just screencapping multiple sessions; but after a long time, I got it.

In my opinion, the Khufu soundtrack is a lot more dramatic, instead of creepy. I'm aware it's the least popular game in the series, but it's one of my personal favorites.

Main Theme- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDdQefPD6Kk (Used in the intro cinematic)
Style by the Nile- https://youtu.be/ucj5_e1D5MQ (The second chapter in the DVD)
All bets are off- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JphJuywn7Jk (Slot Machine segment)
The King's Chamber- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMJDXpqcczI (Around 15 minutes from the end)
Double or Nothing- https://youtu.be/qzB82cB98dg (Last 5 minutes of the game)

"All bets are off" has got to be my favorite piece by far. When the chorus approaches, I picture a proud Khufu, standing over his kingdom after escaping the Gatekeeper, vowing to rebuild his legacy. Call me sad, but I love the storytelling aspect that has been left to the imagination.

Updates:
With some help from a couple of youtube users who listened to my soundtracks, they helped me find the Main Menu theme and the Music played at the start of the Game itself. Enjoy!

Update almost 2 years later
I had a dream a few days ago that the composer for the Khufu soundtrack released a CD with extra music on it, and when I woke up I realised that there were ACTUALLY segments of the game that I hadn't stitched together yet!

I'm currently working on a 45 second piece to get back into the swing of it but Khufu 2: Electric Boogaloo is happening!

Thanks for keeping these up. I plan to leverage these one day to make a custom track for Escape: Curse of the Temple. It would have to be around 10 mins long. I just haven't gotten to it yet.

FYI: There are a couple breaks in the 45 second video (at ~ 16 and 19 seconds).

please take one step forward - oh, and watch that first step, its a doozy, you are BANISHED! --The Gatekeeper...to me.

Yep still working on it, that's why it's unlisted right now ^^

It's a real-time co-op game. The track is 10 minutes long and has a couple breaks to let you know you have to return to the start or get penalized. The devs also released a mostly silent 10 minute version of the track (except for the game cues) so you can make your own. It has the same feeling the end of Atmosfear does where everyone is going nuts, but you have a mission. You roll dice like crazy to move, explore (place a tile), lock gems, etc. The object is for everyone to escape. The base game can be a little samey but the expansion rooms keep it fresh. We play every few months.
