 Welcome to the Shrine of Akira. We are a 'mock' cult dedicated to killing time. We appreciate you taking an intrest in our group, this is here to provide information and answers to whomever needs it. The Shrine was founded in 1996 by Jason Skaggs and James Bryce Teel. Since then we have received dozens of members and now have members all accross the United States. We have German mirror sites, our own newsletter, and this Web Site. We feel it is our duty to kill time when ever possible, and to recurit as many members as possible. Members are not required to attend meetings, pay membership dues, or even give up their current religious beliefs. Members are, however, required attempt to recurit others, have some kind of religion (any will do), and they must state the name Akira for no apparent reason...
