Ponset is seated on top of a building, at the edge. She's partially obscured by the shop's sign, but she's still able to watch what's happening on the street. She is not, however, well hidden from those that might be viewing from above.

She'd suddenly hear the sound of something impacting on the roof behind her and walking over to join her. "Hi Ponset," he greets, "...rare I catch you on my patrols. How are you doing?"

Ponset looks back and up at Caracol (she is sitting, so for once it is up). She actually looks at him for a bit too long as she seems to be deciding how to answer the question. "....It's complicated," she eventually manages to come up with. "Have you heard of... Dragonball? Not the Dragonballs, but... a cartoon..."

Caracol tilts his head. "No..." he replies, "...it might explain why there are a few rare people that already know what I am and where I came from though..."

Ponset nods slowly, then turns to look back out to the street. "I, uh.... ran into a fan... He figured it out in a conversation we had on... our date..." She seems a bit bewildered at the words coming out of her mouth. "Um... it's pretty much about my great-grandfather." It's pretty easy to figure out which of Ponset's great-grandfathers she's talking about, considering who her mother's father's father is.

Caracol tilts his head. "Date," he wonders, "What date?" "About Goku," he asks, "....yeah that makes sense, I mean he was already a legend in his own reality within his own lifetime."

Ponset blushes and looks down. "I, uh, well, had a date with a guy named Joshua. He didn't know I was from a the show's world until the middle of it, though... I was kind of mortified."

Caracol tilts his head. "Why would you be mortified about what world you came from," he wonders, "...but no really, what kind of date are you talking about?"

Ponset raises an eyebrow and looks at Caracol again for a moment. "Oh... right. You don't watch much earth television or movies, do you? It's something that people that, uh... need another person to reproduce.... try to find the, uh, right person to eventually reproduce with?"

Caracol says, "Oooh, ...that kind of date... Yeah, it's really the sort of thing I don't have a grasp on...for obvious reasons. But I still don't see why you'd be embarassed just because of the world you're from.""

Ponset frowns, then looks down again. "Oh... that... well... it was more... how he reacted." Considering Ponset's timid nature when not fighting or at the tower (where she feels much more on equal footing with people), and the fact that this guy was apparently a fan of the show... more than likely he caused a bit of a scene when he found out.

Caracol tilts his head again. "So he embarassed you then," he wonders, "...did he do something wrong?"

Ponset considers this for a moment, then shakes her head. "Not really. Not more than, well, fanboying out a bit. A bit of too loud talking, a bit too much laughing... I mean, it wasn't.... at me, kind of an adrenaline thing, I'm guessing? But it still... drew too much attention."

Caracol ahhhs. "Ok, so you were just embarassed because it meant others were paying attention," he replies, "...that's understandable. What became of that?"

Ponset frowns. "Well, after that, he wanted to show me what he would do in a fight against people at, well, my level or so. He programmed in Cell at the Usual Restaurant's holographic generator... And then used some guns to kill him." She does sound a bit unimpressed by the fight. "But... he seems like an okay guy overall. It was more his... work guns, I guess?"

Caracol frowns a bit as the story continues. "Guns? On Cell? ...." he says before shaking his head, "Well it's not as if he'd actually know better, I guess.?

Ponset shrugs. "They were... not normal guns. Ray guns more, really. They did... things that went over my head, apparently they're designed to take down people like Cell? I don't know."

Caracol shrugs as well. "I guess that's not the important part though..." he decides, "...is that's what got you sitting alone up here?"

Ponset frowns again, then shrugs. "I dunno. Maybe? It just... It changes the way I think about everything. I feel kinda... lost, like everything's new, frightening territory, and I don't know where to go."

Caracol can't help chuckling slightly, though he really is trying to control it. "Honestly? Learning that Goku and some of the people we trained with exist as fiction in another reality is enough to have that impact on you," he asks, "...didn't you understand that they were already that popular within our own reality? On top of that, you can travel to his childhood for yourself if it's needed... What makes this so off putting for you?"

Ponset blinks and looks up again. "What? No, I was talking about actually having gone on a date!"

Caracol says, "Oooh, that makes a LOT more sense...as much as I can't wrap my head around the whole of...bi parts reproduction and everything involved in it. Really, if a Namek wants a baby, it just takes care of it alone...and there are pleanty of us, so who needs babies?" He guestures with his hands in a more erratic way than usual, turning purple in the face. "B-u-but you've cleared a hurdle to human adulthood now, right?""

Ponset says, "We've had one date! And it was a really odd one, too, I think. He paid for my dinner and showed me those guns... Explained who he was, I explained who I was... maybe too much..." She shakes her head. "You make it sound like we did... something else."

Caracol says, "All I know is what you told me, but apparently it's supposed to lead in that direction eventually? I don't understand the way it works..." He's really purple now..."

Ponset is sitting up on a roof, partially hidden by the shop's sign, though still possible to spot if one is actively looking upward. Then again, the fact that there's a green guy standing next to her might make her easier to spot. "It... yeah, eventually potentially goes there? I... things are really early, though! We're... we're completely not there yet, okay!" And yes, her face is also growing red, but not quite as red as her hair yet.

Bridget walks down the road, looking quite lost. Her tail twitches in annoyance as her ears swivel about to scan for threats, perking up at the sound of someone talking. She looks up and sees the green guy from the other day and a red haired girl in a school uniform of sorts.

Caracol rubs at his currently purple face. "...right, but...it's a start, right? I mean, it's something important, isn't it?"

Ponset looks down again and fidgets some. "I.... yeah. Yeah, I guess so," she says a bit more quietly. Of course, as she looks down, she spots Bridget looking at them. "Uh... Hi," she says a bit timidly, but loud enough to be heard.

Bridget hears her no problem, and withdraws a hand from her pocket to wave at the pair. "Hello. Not to intrude or anything, but I'm kinda lost." She rubs the back of her neck as her tail swishes back and forth.

Caracol blinks a little. "Oh, hi," he greets with a little wave. He clears his throat and looks away a moment, trying to recover his usual disposition. "Did you need help with that?"

The wolf girl glances about while nodding. "Yeah, kinda. Would either of you guys know the way to the Scarlet Devil Mansion? I got a job at the cafe there, but I was kinda out of it when my friend took me there, so I have no idea where I'm going."

Ponset repositions herself and leans over to get a better look. "Oh, uh, yeah... what're you looking for?" She blinks at the question, then shakes her head. "Sorry, never heard of the place."

Caracol nods in agreement with Ponset. "I haven't heard of it either," he replies, "Maybe I'd know it by description though?"

Bridget shrugs. "It's really big, kinda got a sort of red theme going on."

Ponset considers the description. "And a mansion... I think I might have seen something like that to the south of Tokyo Tower somewhere? I'm.... not entirely positive, though..."

Caracol frowns and tilts his head. "Big...red...mansion...building," he murmurs, "I think I've seen a very small amount of those through town, yeah." "If Ponset feels like going we can drop you by there. Would you rather walk or fly?"

Bridget shivers a bit at the mention of flight. She was never the best with heights. A story or two was fine, but any higher than that was sketchy, and that was with solid ground beneath her feet. "W-walking would be nice, thank you." Her ears twitch a bit.

Ponset tilts her head slightly, but nods in response. "Well, then that's the best I can give you," she says with a bit more strength to her voice now. "Just... somewhere south of Tokyo Tower. Maybe."

Caracol says, "Maybe it'll get your mind off of....you know..." He waves his hand in a vauge circular pattern as if he's trying to indicat the place, rather than a specific thing."

Ponset turns to look at Caracol. "Huh? What are you talking ab- oh. Yeah. I guess it could?" Aaaaand she's sounding timid again.

Caracol just hops right off the roof, landing in front of Bridget. "Not used to flying, huh?"

Bridget shakes her head. "A-actually, I'm kind of an acrophobiac..." She glances to the side, rubbing the back of her neck.

Ponset takes a deep breath, then drops down from the rooftop. "Well... a walk it is, I guess." She doesn't sound particularly excited about the prospect of walking that far, but she doesn't seem particualrly reluctant, either.

Caracol nods. "No problem then, we can all take it the slow way," he replies, "Nice to see you again, by the way."

Ponset says, "You two know each other?"

Caracol says, "Not all that much, we just met last night..."

Bridget nods and slips her hands into her pockets as her ears idly twitch once or twice. "So, lead on, I guess. Oh, I'm Bridget, by the way." She withdraws a hand to hold it out to the red head.

Ponset takes the hand into her own in a slightly reluctant manner. Less of a 'no, don't want to be touched' thing and more of a 'don't screw this up, me' thing. "Uh, Ponset. Ponset Thea," she says as she carefully shakes the hand. She lets go and looks off to the west. "Uhhhh, let's start that way?"

Nerima Avenue

After a few trains and sending Caracol out ahead, the Scarlet Devil Mansion is now ahead! Ponset, who has looked awkward at best through the trip, now looks less than pleased. "I've got a bad feeling about this place..."

Caracol raises a hairless brow at that. "Why do you say that," he asks before murmuring thoughtfully, "Aside from the name, anyway....but Piccolo calls himself Devil Jr."

Bridget shrugs. "The owner seemed nice, if a bit odd. And there's a cafe in there, so it can't be that bad."

Ponset keeps looking at the building before asking, no longer sounding timid, instead almost sounding like she might be tensing up for a fight, "Was there someone with crystals as wings there?"

Bridget arches a brow and nods. "...yeah. Her name's Flandre Scarlet. Her fiance owns the cafe." She isn't certain why Ponset looks ready to throw down.

Caracol tilts his head again. "So there's someone you have past with here, Ponset? Apparently not such a great past though?"

Ponset grits her teeth as her aura flares visably for a breif moment. "No. Not a great past. She tried to eat my face."

Bridget looks somewhat worried at that. "She did what?" What the hell kinda friends did Arch make? She -knew- there was something up with that girl...besides the wings and fangs, that is.

Caracol says, "Eat your face...thaaaaaaat's a wierd thing to try and do without being a dinosaur. Well, I'm here this time too. If it comes to it, I can play the part of the angry brother? Or would sister be better? ...the whole gender thing is a little confusing.""

Ponset says, "We were... supposed to be just sparring. I don't think she understands the concept of a fight without intent to kill. She bit off part of my cheek..." Thank Kami for Senzu beans. She blinks, then looks to Caracol. "...Uhhh... brother, then. I dunno, I know none of your people actually are guys or girls, but you all seem... male to me."

Caracol says, "Yeah, we were put under the assumption that male pronouns fit us best when we speak to most gendered races, so we just kind of stuck with them..."

Bridget laughs a bit before shaking her head. "Sorry, I just know a guy who moonlights as one of the cutest girls I've ever met."

Ponset takes a deep breath and lets her aura fade entirely. She slumps her shoulders somewhat, then turns to walk away. "I'm going home," she says simply. "Goodnight. It was nice to meet you."

Caracol says, "Oh, so sometimes people of one gender act as the other gender? ...I'd never heard this before. Why do they do it?" He blinks a little at Ponset. "Ah, um, I guess I'll catch up with you later? Try to feel better...""

Bridget waves. "It was nice meeting you."
