It's Saturday morning, and, at a desk in front of the newly repaired wall, Rose is seated looking through a programming guidebook. Yes, she already knows the language, but she's always up for learning tips and tricks she may or may not know, and this particular book proclaims itself to be for experts already. It's a quiet moment for her, but in the back of her mind, there is that nagging question: Shouldn't her roommate have gotten back by now? It's unusual for someone to be on a 'vacation' for more than a week... and then there's that small part nagging at her mind that maybe the worst did happen... that what Oshiro had predicted wasn't just some massive pessimism and it's actually occured. But still... no one has bothered to tell the Titans' IT specialist just what has happened, and she's simply been left to wonder.

It's an awkward thing, knocking on the door to ones own apartment. Still, It only makes sense for the new pony to do so. After all, There is no way Rose would know who she is. She goes to knock like she used to... sadly, it doesn't work out well. So she tries it by using her hoof! Hey that works. Quietly she waits outside.

Rose looks up from the book at the knocking, then stands up and silently steps over to the door to look through the peep hole. There is a pony there. Deciding to take a chance on this stranger, but still making sure her taser is ready, she cautiously opens the door. "...If you're selling something, I'm not interested," she says right off the bat. . o O ( Huh. No wings. I didn't know they came without wings here. )

Sakura_Shade closes her eyes before she speaks. "I am not selling anything. I am here with news about Oshiro Rio." She looks up at Rose nervously.

Rose blinks. "Uhhhh. Okay. I admit I was beginning to wonder what the heck happened to her, but..." She glances over her shoulder at the apartment behind her and she steps out of the way, opening the door further. "Okay... Come on in... I can make coffee, but... Uh..." she looks back at the unicorn, the unspoken question being 'how would you drink it?'

Sakura_Shade smiles a little, "Sure! That sounds lovely." She moves into the apartment and hops up on a chair. She does sit like a pony at least as, it would look really silly for her to sit like a human... <Eyes Lyra...> As soon as both of them are situated, she speaks up. "What I say is going to be very difficult to hear. Even more difficult to understand. Trust me, I am still trying to wrap my head around it." SHe looks down. "Oshiro Rio fought an amazing fight. She did not willingly give into the darkness. Sadly it did consume her. She became a witch." She sighs, "I... I can't remember what happened while she was a witch. What I do know is she was rescued."

Rose does make a cup of instant coffee(still no proper coffee maker here yet! She's just not gotten around to it yet, honestly. She sets the cup of coffee down on the table next to Sakura's chair, curious to see what she does with the cup, then sits down at the desk chair backwards to listen to the unicorn's story with a frown. "So..." she says quietly. "I guess she wasn't just being overdramatic." She reaches behind herself to take her own cup of coffee in hand. "So I take it she's in rehabilitation somewhere? I should go visit. And ask what the heck was up with the hole in the wall..." that said, she takes a long sip of her coffee.

Sakura_Shade smiles. Her horn ignites and pink magic wraps around the the coffee cup. It floats over to her and she takes a sip of it. "Mmmm Not bad at all. Haven't had coffee for a while." She snickers, "Ummm Well, She was unable to go back to being a human. call it fate or a freak magic thing but, She was turned into a pony." She laughs. "And she decided to drop in on someone she offered a room to! Hiya Rose. Yes its me."

It's as soon as Sakura Shade mentions that Oshiro was turned into a pony that Rose seems to get it. Despite her usual calm demeanor, this revelation seems to get an actual reaction out of her. She's sadly only managed to swallow half of her coffee before she figured it out, and there is, of course, the predictable spit take. Thankfully she's not right in front of Sakura Shade, who is spared from the spray. She hurridly wipes her face before apologizing profusely. "The heck kinda freaking world is... Okay, confirmation wanted here, where did you run into me originally?" While she now recognizes the voice, she's not about to fully accept such a large claim just out of the blue!

Sakura_Shade laughs, "The Arcade. I offered you a place to stay out of the blue. You thought I was weird for offering someone I never met a place to stay." She winces and uses her magic to pick up a towel and give it to her. "The ponies have been putting me up there. They want to keep a close eye on me and make sure I don't wind up hurting anyone. Magic flares."

Rose takes the towel, also noting the familiarity with which Sakura takes the towel from its place. "Uhhh... thanks. All right, all right, you have me convinced," she mumbles, though it's definitely still audible. She wipes herself off more properly before setting herself to cleaning the floor. "All right then... you're a unicorn now... so then... now what?" she says. "You're moving out to live with them now, then? Or is that just a temporary thing?" She gets up and puts the towel back in its place for the moment, making a mental note to definitely throw that one in the wash next time.

Sakura_Shade smiles, "Well, Umm, I was offered my own home there. A full on tree house. I was going to offer you the choice to stay there. The perk is, no rent! Of course, its an actual house. Or it will be when its actually made. Anyway its up to you. The Apartment is still available of course. I just need to get something from that weird hole in the wall." She sets the coffee down and moves toward the weird hole. "Okay I need to hope with this one. I don't have access to my old magic. Its gone with my human body." She lights her horn. Gently she touches that horn to the hole. It fills in to reveal... a small safe? Quickly she opens it. Inside. There are several things. The first and most prominent being a picture of her and her parents... when she was human. She takes it in her magic and just looks at it. She sees her own reflection and frowns. The rest of what is in there is a few cards, at least one is a debit card. She also has a couple pieces of jewelry in there.

Rose pauses a moment. A tree house? She is considering. Open Arms, of course, isn't the most... luxurious of apartments, or in the safest of neighborhoods. "...Well... I suppose the question would be accomodations... I'm a bit of a techie as you might recall. Last time I lived in a house in the woods, it, uh... wasn't very good on the high-tech additions... like electricity." She glances to the side slightly, recalling Cevernal well. "...And where is it? I'm able to take a train to work as it is..." Yes, she's seriously considering the offer with an eye for getting out of this place, but she has very real concerns that might mean living out with the ponies would, in the end, make her life way more difficult. She does look over Sakura's shoulder at the objects pulled out. "...You never showed me that before," she says quietly of the picture.

Sakura_Shade smiles a little. "its on the outskirts of town. East of the City Center. The place is a bitch to find at first but it is a safe place. Its little walk to the train station, Thats how I got here. I can't fly like most of the others." She smiles. "The big draw back is you'd have to get your own food. None of the ponies can eat meat. I can't anymore either sadly. Still, I do know how to cook and make some pretty darn good stuff even with just fruits, veggies and grains." She giggles a little and then its back to the picture. "Its the last picture my family took together. A few weeks later, they were kidnapped and then... it was over."

Rose chuckles lowly. "Well, I suppose I can eat vegetarian breakfasts and eat out for lunch and dinner on workdays if I want meat. Actual herbivores now, huh?" She's taking out her own phone now, going through her pictures on it to come across one buried deep, herself. Upon finding the one in question, she shows it. It's a hospital setting, with Rose and two other girls her age in the picture around an older girl who appears to be in a coma. "This... is the last picture I have of my family. Well, sort of. The last with my mother. She's not dead, but... long story involving genetic incompatabilities with medicines that kind of had to be used to save her life. If she's woken up by now, she wouldn't remember any of us." The other two girls in from her age look very simlilar to Rose, except primarily their hair and eye colors. One has purple eyes and green hair, while the other's eyes and hair both are white. It's perhaps the girl unconscious on the hospital bed that looks the most unique, however... her hair is a full rainbow, running from red at one end to a deep violet on the other... like a mirror of Rainbow Dash's mane. If she's Rose's mother, like she said, she looks very young for her age, possibly only four or five years older in appearance than the girl standing next to Sakura. After a moment, she closes up her phone again, putting it away. "Um... anyway... Yeah! Well, I'd have to take a look at the place, of course. See how convenient or lack thereof it is. At this point I think I can afford the apartment myself just fine, but... you know. Not the greatest of neighborhoods. I know, I know, it's what you could afford back then."

Sakura_Shade nods, "Well, When you're a Magical girl, a bad neighborhood isn't exactly the biggest problem you could have. I mean if anyone were dumb enough to break in, Itsj ust another fight right?" She laughs. "Anyway. I can show ya the place When it is actually created. Twilight needs to talk to Discord about getting the tree planeted."

Rose nods again, taking a seat at the desk chair again. "Kinda like my workplace. You'd be an idiot to try to rob a building with that many 'superheroes' in it. That said... the way Raven talked, it sounded like she assumed they'd be a target eventually." She shrugs and picks up her coffee again, nodding as if she had a clue who Twilight or Discord were. "Uhh, right. Soo... still keep the apartment for now, at the very least. Got it."

Sakura_Shade Nods, "Yes. Its paid up for the next few months so nothing really to worry about there. Its really cool though. When I say Tree House I mean an actual tree that is a house. Not a building up a tree. Its really cool. I have an idea of what I want to do with mine. Also, the ponies are really cool. They are kind, and magical, and loyal... They have been nothing but kind. They have been helping me to adjust. One of them is teaching me how to control my new magic. Another is teaching me how to be a proper pony! Its so cool."

Rose blinks again, readjusting her mental image of what the tree house would be. "Oh.... well... damnit, now I wanna see what they look like out there. I may have to visit before it's ready, then?" She laughs once, then again at just the absurdity of the situation. "What a weird city. I swear, this place is just... ridiculous." She shakes her head, then bows it slightly in apology. "I don't mean... It's far from being about you with what I said. Well, okay, it includes you, but... damnit, I'm sorry. I just can't really get used to this place."

Sakura_Shade smiles and leans against Rose gently. "Don't worry bout it. Trust me, I'm still trying to get used to this. I've been a normal human girl, A magical girl, A Witch, and now a pony. It is kinda ridiculous." She snickers, "If you want to see the place I can take you there when you're ready." She smiles a little.

Oops. Looks like Sakura has forgotten a key element of her roommate, as the bluette suddenly jumps out of her chair at the physical contact. She stumbles away a few feet before recovering her balance and mental state, but it takes her a few moments to recover her breath again, though her eyes are still a bit wide. "Uhhhhh... Reminder... It's not you, it's me, but... please don't touch."

Sakura_Shade frowns softly, "I'm sorry Rose. Those ponies are rubbing off on me!" She laughs nervously. "Anyway when you want to, We can go see the tree houses. I've been staying in one of them. I just need a little money. So I could do something when I'm not practicing magic. Seriously, unicorn magic is nuts!" She winces a little.

Rose nods, recomposing herself and taking a deep breath to calm her nerves. Damned social phobias. "Urg. I tell you, it's not easy living with that issue." She glances back at the book left on the desk, and shrugs. "Hell, no time like the present, I suppose. Reading up on advanced programming techniques can always wait, and it's not like they expect me to show up at the Tower for another couple of days unless something goes wrong."

Sakura_Shade smiles, "Okay! Follow me!" She smiles and quickly moves out the door.

Ponytopia

Sakura_Shade smiles and happily makes her way through the forest. She leads the way to a flurry utterly massive trees. "Welcome to Ponytopia. This is where I've been staying in this one here!" She points her hoof at one of them.

Rose lets out a huff of air as she finally makes her way to the trees. "...I am gonna need a mountain bike... or an ATV... or something if I'm going to live here... Why are they so far off the road here?"

Sakura_Shade shrugs, "Honestly? From what I gathered many of the ponies here are used to small town life. The quiet is a nice escape from the noise of the city. You never notice how loud it is in the city until you spend time out here. If you need a bike or something I might be able to help. I know I was planning a shopping trip."

Rose waves a hand dismissively. "If it comes to that, I can afford it myself if I'm not paying rent. Don't worry about it." She looks up to the trees again, whistling slightly. "So... these are really nice houses, but... well, like I said, how's the tech level inside? No offense, but I've lived without modern conveniences enough already." She pauses, listening to the near silence for a moment if that silence persists.

Sakura_Shade smiles, "I am sure we can get some stuff put in for you that is Tech based. Much of what the ponies use is magic or just basic stuff. Still we can get it going." She smiles a little and just goes quiet. She looks aroundn letting the silence ring.

Rose finally says quietly, as if not wanting to disturb the peace, "...I've forgotten how quiet it can be away from civilization. Not since Cevernal." With how peaceful and quiet it is... Clearly neither Rainbow Dash nor Pinkie Pie are home right now.

Sakura_Shade smiles and nods, "It can get a little noisy sometimes. But compared to the din of the city? This is really peaceful." She smiles and nods, "At night the sounds of the crickets is really nice. It really helps put me to sleep."

Rose frowns at that. "Ah... yes. Louder at night than in day... I'm remembering that now. Very different from civilization. Also... Would I need to invest in a bug net as well for my bed? Or are things better under control here?"

Sakura_Shade smiles, "Things are pretty well under control. I think Fluttershy has a deal with the bugs to keep them down." She giggles. "She umm talks to animals. Like full understanding and stuff. And Rainbow Dash is a little... Well She's fast and willing to help anyone!"

Rose nods at that. "Well! That's a damn useful ability! Wish we had someone like that back in the day. I swear, I will never return to that backwater planet for the rest of my days..." She shudders slightly. "Yeah, though, I don't really know Rainbow Dash well, but I've already gotten that from her." She looks up at the tree again, then asks, "...Can I take a look inside? I do find it fascinating that they've built a house... into a tree!"

Sakura_Shade laughs, "Yeah. The real shocker for you. They actually GROW the trees to be houses. They don't cut into them at all. Its really awesome. Come on!" She smiles and leads the way into the largest of the trees.

Rose nods and crosses her arms behind her back as she follows along.

Sakura_Shade smiles, "Welcome to the central room of this part of the tree. This is where A bunch of the ponies live. I've been staying in the guest room here. Its really fun here. I like it. Its peaceful. Lots of books. I think Twilight..." She gestures to the door with the purple winged unicorn on it. "I think she spends more time in books then anyone I've ever met."

Rose follows on up, looking around as she does. "So this tree... was grown into this form?" For once, Rose actually sounds like she's in awe of something. "This is way better than a log cabin! Not so drafty, not so damp... Way better than the log cabin I was stuck in as a kid." She looks up at the purple winged unicorn in the picture. "...Well, I'll stick with my computer screens, personally." She's also looking around for any evidence of electricity already running through the place. Outlets, conduits, any sign, really.

Sakura_Shade smiles, "Its definitely cozy. Turns out a living tree is better insulated then the a cut up one too! It stays nice and cool most of the time. Seriously, this place is just awesome." She snickers and points to the different pictures. "That one is Twilight. That one is Rainbow Dash, That one is Fluttershy. These other three I've not met but by going from names, descriptions, and cutie marks, That one there is Pinkie Pie, That one is Rarity, and that one is Applejack." She giggles. "Oh... Umm I just remembered. Crap I have something I have to do!" She looks at Rose, "I need to head out. I am so sorry! Oh umm... I have a new name! Sakura Shade!"

Rose blinks at having a new name, then shrugs. "Oh... okay... then... see you laer, Sakura? I guess I'll find my way back to the city now, then!"

Sakura_Shade smiles and she quickly takes off out the door. "See you later Rose!" She smiles and is gone. The only way she could have vanished faster is if she could teleport!
