NTSDF Phoenix has a compliment of 11 VF-24s which are, under normal combat conditions, piloted by members of Red Squadron. Lead by Lt. Miriya Genius, this group is considered one of the best fighter squadrons in the NTSDF fleet.
Lt. Miriya Genius: Meltrandi female, well known from the Macross Universe. Red Squadron's leader.
Seo Jae-Hwa: Male human from Korea. Claims to be a Starcraft pro. Fascinated by video games and loves being a pilot. Cocky and impulsive.
Elang Mahmud: Male Human from Indonesia, not native to Neo-Tokyo's universe. Was actually a pilot before unifying. Years of experience though still getting the hang of space craft. Reserved, quiet, thoughtful.
Jinryis T’raosan: Female Asari from Thessia in the Mass Effect universe. Served in the military before but didn’t make the cut for pilot, sees this as her second chance. Nervous but eager. Friendly.
Shamika Maremoto: Female human native to NeoTokyo. Extremely street savvy. Secret underground fighter. Paid for pilot college with money she got from street fighting. Cheerful but aggressive, martial arts fanatic.
Rosa Toyama: Female human native to NeoTokyo whose parents are from other worlds. Always wanted to be closer to the stars. Quiet but not against being dragged to places by the other pilots.
Anthony Highlander: Male Human from the United States. Unrepentant otaku. Loves giant mechs. Always had a clear goal of becoming a pilot. Burly and brash. Leadership skills. Notorious for once asking his commanding officer to sign a body pillow with her likeness on it.
