Her latest in a long line of managers is with her listening to her gripes. "You could just go enjoy what you do. Isn't this supposed to be a fun night?" Korrine looks at her and frowns, "Yeah!" She states almost facetiously as she rolls her eyes. "I just want to know how a free concert is going to get my name out in other countries? Its not is it?" Free concert? Well, that's finally something Robin can afford to take part in! He's been looking forward to seeing this, something new he can actually take part in and learn yet another thing about this modern world. So this is apparently going to be the popular kind of music in this world? Great! Time to soak this in! Except... He really underestimated just how many people would be here. "...Oh, man," he mumbles to himself as he arrives. "...I actually feel weird coming here alone, now..." The sun has set and the lights are go down. Quietly, Korrine makes her way to the stage. She takes her place, microphone in hand. Her band kicks up and she begins singing. She is actually a pretty good vocalist. All in all. Its a good start. A few guys not far from Robin are laughing and carrying on. "Think Crazy Korrine is gonna get through the performance tonight?" One of em comments. The other quickly responds, "I hope not. I wanna see a fight not this crappy music." They laugh loudly and rather obnoxiously. Robin raises an eyebrow at the guys talking about a fight. There's a breif moment where he wonders if that's what the point of the performance is... but then he shakes his head. While it's what these guys want, there's enough clues around him from others, and even these two ('get through the performance' being a big hint) that if there's a fight... something is going wrong, as far as the performer is concerned. So he looks back to stage again, his brow furrowed slightly before he gets caught up in the music again. "How is everyone doing tonight?!" Korrine asks as she finishes up her opening song. More then a few people cheer and applaud. "HELLO NEOTOKYO! I'm Korrine and welcome to the End of Summer beach bash! I got a few more songs for you tonight. So without futher ado..." She's just about to start singing when, "Shut up and fight someone! Come on Crazy Korrine! No one wants to hear your crap voice. Fight someone!" Its one of the same guys. "Excuse me, There are people trying to enjoy the show. If you got a problem with it just leave." Robin sighs and facepalms. He speaks up, but he's not yelling. "Come on, man. There are fights in NeoTokyo every other day... if you wanted a fight, you should've gone to that arena..." He opens up a space between two fingers to look at the beligerant 'fan'. "She's right, some of us actually wanted to hear some music tonight." The Pop idol looks out across the crowd. Her Anger level is rising. Do they have a point? Well, Korrine does have a reputation forgetting a bit violent. She has a temper and people being dicks like this is definitely not helping that reputation. "You know what, Since you want a fight so much, I'm done. If you wanna know why the concert ended early, You can turn your attention to the jerk who decided to start insulting me!" Tears start filling her eyes and she gestures to the guy at the sound and light area to kill it all. Then, She takes off running. Hopefully the dark would be enough to hide where she is going. This hurt her more then they could know. Quickly she begins moving away from the beach and and through the city. She's looking for a place where she can hide and just work this all out. Robin raises an eyebrow as the lights go out, then just turns and looks to the heckler again. "...So... you wanted to see a fight, huh?" he looks back out over the crowd. "...I'm betting someone here will be willing to oblige you now." He shoves his hands into the pockets of his hoodie and just starts backing away from the guy. "...Asshole," he says as one parting word before making his way off the beach. . o O ( Well, crap. There went my plans for tonight. ) Korrine keeps running. She is really upset over this. Perhaps more upset then she normally would be. Perhaps she is moody? Perhaps she's gotten a look at how the public is starting to view her and its scares her? No matter what the cause, she is still moving. Slowly the city lights are starting to become more sparce. A couple trees start to dot the horrizon. Then a few more. Meanwhile, Someone lays out the heckler. Another person decks the person who knocks them out. Then the crowd begins going nuts. Fighting each other. Its a full on Brawl. Robin is staying the heck out of the fistfight breaking out in the crowd. "...I've heard of fights breaking out at concerts, but I was under the impression it wasn't usually with pop music..." He grimaces slightly before looking away from the fight again. Korrine arrives on the opposite side of town. She enters the woods and looks around quietly. There is a slight problem with all of this. She doesn't know where she is. Taking a seat, on a fallen tree she just starts crying. She begins punching at the tree. Her hand quickly is reddened as she vents her rage. Its a nightmare to her. An unwanted show, having the area she is not happy with laid bare in front of the crowd its just bad. Several twigs snap. Something is out there... CRASH!!!! Some enterprising teens decide to use the cover of the brawl to score some free booze. They promptly break a window hoping to disrupt things enough to get their goodies. Meanwhile, some people are starting to disperse. Not everyone wants to fight. Still some do want to continue and they are going at it. With the breaking window, the enterprizing teens would VERY quickly find themselves getting thrown rather far back by a hard, long, blunt object across the face...only AFTER the fact does a red lance appear with a blunette, red eyed dude in blue tights holding it. Robin sighs and hangs his head. Things are just going from bad to worse out here. Maybe he should do something... He slips off to the side, into the alley beside the Kraken where he grips the air just in front of his chest and twists. From within the hand, streams of metallic ribbons spread out, covering his body, reshaping it into the shapely figure of the Steel Valkyrie Strimla! As it vanishes into her skin, it leaves behind her usual outfit, leaving her standing there in that odd pose she's always in when she finishes her transformation. Seriously, what's up with that? Quickly, she jumps off the walls to make her way onto the Kraken's roof, looking out at the ensuing melee in front of her. Wincing at the guys flying out of the Kraken's window (yeah, she gets the feeling that deserved it), she nods once and jumps down into the light illuminating the sign, sending reflections out into the crowd, and hopefully getting their attention as she stands there. . o O ( ...aaaaand, then what? ) Fear washes over Korrine. The knowledge that someone is out there or something is horrifying to her. Then... there it is.a red fox. It stops and looks at her. She simply looks into the creature as it looks back at her. Something about the fox tells her that its safe. The fox makes a movement, almost a gesture. As if its beckoning her to follow. The bluenette stands and starts following the fox. Meanwhile, the brawl is starting to wind down. The idiots are pretty much getting the point. Then, something else happens. A carbon copy of that red fox... it approaches close to Strimla. Its almost as though it smiles to her. Then with a simple gesture, it tries to get her to follow. S. V. Strimla blinks at the fox in front of her, then. She's up on a sign, and a fox just showed up here? Okay, yes. There's definitely something weirder going on here. The red-haired valkyrie looks out into the crowd, seeing the fights mostly dying down... and seeing that the bouncer of the Kraken more than has keeping his place of employment safe handled. She then sighs and just nods to the fox. "Well... what's the worst that can happen... oh, right, dragon." "Anyone ELSE want to try and get bright ideas about stealing from a night club that's armed to the hounds' teeth then," Cu asks as he hops out of the broken window, "I'd be happy to oblige...otherwise, GET THE HELLS OFF THE BEACH." The Fox takes off running, leading Strimla across town. It doesn't stop to look back to check if she's still following. Nope She just continues leading the way to the woods. Meanwhile, The young woman continues to follow the red fox. It leads her deeper into the forest. To a quiet stream. There near the stream, is a strange mound. The fox begins pawing at it, almost guiding Korrine to start digging. The police arrive at the beach and start arresting people. They start with the idiots. That doesn't stop the other idiots from hoping for free drinks. More Fodder for Cu! S. V. Strimla mubmles to herself as she runs after the fox. "I have got to be out of my mind," she says under her breath as she keeps follwing the odd fox. She lets out a breath as they arrive at the woods, the long run actually getting to her by now. "Oh, man... slow down a bit!" she calls out. She pauses a breif moment, only long enough to cast a quick spell to increase her running speed before she takes off again after the fox. As some dumbies still don't get the point, Cu spins Gae Bolg, swiping out at thier legs and arms. "Ya keep it up and it'll be yer useless HEADS next...." The young bluenette looks at the fox and then looks at her hands. "I just had a mani... Do I really need to start digging now?" The fox sits down and nods at her. "I've gotta be out of my mind." She moves over and begins digging. The fox just watches her carefully. Meanwhile the doppleganger fox does slow down for Strimla. The fox begins leading her to the very same stream. There she would be able to see the pop idol digging in the dirt like an animal. Meanwhile. A few people in the crowd get the wise idea to start fighting with the cops! Odd crowd to be attending a J-Pop concert to be honest. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge, bright green Tyranosaur appears! It stomps it's maissive legs and ROARS and full volume! That should maybe take some of the testerstone out of the fighting crowd! LOOK! DINOSAUR! RAWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! S. V. Strimla stops as she gets to the stream and just stops as she sees the pop singer from the concert she was just at. All the way out here. digging in the dirt by hand. "The hells?" she blurts out before she catches herself. She then shakes her head and approaches, though perhaps a bit cautiously. "Uhhhh... are you... okay?" Cu is pleanty ready to take on all stupid on comers....he's not a heroic spirit for NOT reason. Not just that, but it IS his job he's doing after all. The fox that had been guiding Strimla vanishes leaving only the fox that is sitting beside the digging girl. The digging girl looks over at Strimla. "I... I think I'm crazy." She keeps digging. Suddenly a soft white, albeit dirty curved object appears in the dirt. Strimla would likely be able to identify it as a weapon. A bow. Back at the beach, the sight of a giant freaking dinosaur gets all sorts of attention. None of it good. 'GODZILLA IS DESTROYING THE CITY!!!" One person cries out and people start running in all directions, panicking. Beast Boy lets out another huge ROAR! Justr for good measure. "That shoud do it," the creature laughs, then morphs into a gangly, greem teen-age boy. "That's how we roll in Titans Tower!" He laughs, "Pfft...you go to a concert and what happens??" he puff-sighs, glancing around at the people running, "Silly rabbit, T-rex are for kids! Ba-bing! S. V. Strimla nods, albeit slowly. "Okay..." She cautiously walks on up closer as the pop idol digs further, raising an eyebrow at the object coming into view. "...What's that you're digging up there?" she asks, looking it over. "...A bow?" she then says, more in surprise than in asking confirmation of it. Cu raises a brows at the "Godzilla is destroying the city" comment. "Seriously? That one hasn't been around this town much, 'as he?" He shrugs and makes gae bolg dissapear back into the ether. "Hello then Mr. Dino..." "I dunno. The fox wants me to dig." Korrine states seeming more then a little worried for her sanity at this point. Then there is the bow. She goes to reach for it and looks at the fox. The fox gives a simple nod. She takes hold of the bow and pulls it out. The weapon is beautiful.A true piece of art that shouldn't be left in the dirt. There is of course a quiver beside it. She grabs that too and slings it. "Okay so I got a bow and arrows I guess. What now fox? Want me to pose?" She nocks an arrow and draws it looking almost like a hero in her own right. Suddenly magic whips around her, igniting the night with white light. She is quickly wrapped in a violet and white leather armor. As the magic fades, a voice fills her head, ~Awaken, Ilusion Valkyrie Astridr.~ She looks around. "Did you say something?" She asks Strimla. ~No. It was me.~ The Fox steps closer to her and puts a paw on her leg. ~You have been chosen to be a magical girl. I have chosen you because there are lessons you must learn. You must learn loyalty and compassion. These things have eluded you for so long. It is now time for you to embrace them, Astridr.~ Back at the beach, the crowd has largely dispersed. Something about a massive Kaiju trying to destroy everything... or a green dino. Either way it was scary enough to get people to get the hell out of dodge." Beast Boy slumps just a bit, "Well, so much for THAT! Fraeking riotors and..jerks," he pulls an eyelid down and buuhs, then just turns and ambles towards the beach, hands clasped behind his neck, elbows hi. "Concert's a bust..now what? Movie? I dunno, Precious, what does it want to do? " S. V. Strimla glances to the side slightly nervously, then looks down at the fox, wondering why she's here for a moment as the pop idol picks up the bow and quiver. Of course, her attention is immediately brought back to said pop-idol when the transformation begins. She blinks and raises a hand to cover her face from the sudden output of light. "What the heck?!" she shouts out before she lowers her hand again to look at the now... magic girl? Looking a bit dumbfounded, she simply responds, "...No? Unless you count 'what the heck'?" Well, that confirms Strimla didn't hear the fox speak... so maybe Korrine... no, Astridr is in fact going insane! Still, she cautiously approaches, recognizing what happened for what it was, the transformation of a magical girl... or should she say magic knight? Oh, who is she kidding, no one but Strimla ever tries to actually use that term. "...Miss Korrine? Do you know what just happened?" Cu says, "So then, Mr. Dino...you want a drink? You look a wee bit young for the good stuff, but there's always other drinks I can offer for helping out with the crowd control." He probably could have swatted them all like flies unless there were some notable supers in the lot, but that'd be a rather annoying exercise. The guy helped, so he's glad to offer a free drink to the person who actually DIDN'T try to STEAL one." Beast Boy says, "Hmm? Og sure, yeah...just a Dr.Pepper? And the name's Beast Boy," he smiles, "But..my friends call me Beast Boy."" Cu gives a nod and just leans into the broekn window, fetching a Dr. Peper from whoever's waiting the bar at the moment. He'd then proceed to trace some runes with his finger in the air where the window preiviously was... As he hands the Dr. Peper over, the lines he traced glow and reform the window. I.V. Astridr looks at Strimla nervously, "Umm The fox is saying that she picked me to become This, Illusion Valkyrie Astridr. She said that I need to learn compassion and loyalty. Thats why she picked me. Why is a Fox talking to me!" She looks just a little panicked. Finally she realizes her appearance has changed. She looks over herself. "What am I wearing. Oh my god I look like some military person! from ancient times!" Beast Boy. o 0 (Why don't Foxes ever talk to ME?? Geez..." S. V. Strimla raises an eyebrow. "Illusion Valkyrie Astridr?" she says, slightly dumbfounded. She then blinks and glances away at the mention of looking like ancient times. "...It's not that bad," she mumbles, then sighs. She reaches behind her back and pulls out a greatsword! She is not, however, holding it in a menacing manner. "Well... Then it's nice to meet you, Astridr." She holds the sword out in a manner akin to a salute. "You can call me Steel Valkyrie Strimla... or really just call me Strimla." She lowers the sword again, looking back down to the fox. "...And I have absolutely no clue what is going on here..." I. V. Astridr blinks, "You're a Valkyrie... But Steel? Nice to meet you Strimla." SHe moves over to a log and just flops on it. "I don't get any of this. I don't like being manipulated like this! So what, you expect me to be some Magical girl and try to save the freaking world?! Is that it Fox?!" She snaps. "You picked the wrong girl. Do you really expect me to use.... THIS?!" She holds out the bow. and shakes her head. "If you want me to fight Put me up front or something!" ~That is the problem Astridr. You have fought as a Berserker thus far. You lose your temper and give in to blind rage. You do not think. You simply act and the pieces fall where they may. This can not be permitted anymore. You must think to use a bow. You must concentrate. Every shot you take has the potential to end a life. This way you will learn compassion.~ The fox whispers to her mind. Astridr glares at the fox. "You bitch. Why do you think this is okay. Who are you to decide to what I need to learn!?" She looks at Strimla and frowns, "Apparently because I don't think when I fight, She wants me to use a weapon where I have to think about things." S. V. Strimla nods to Astridr and looks like she's about to say something when the other girl starts yelling at the fox. "Uhhh..." she blinks as it's almost as if the two were having an actual conversation. She then, of course, facepalms. Magic. They probably are having a conversation. "You have to think with any weapon you use, Miss Korrine. Astridr." She lifts up Gnistra, the greatsword again, holding it in two hands. "Not thinking, not backing off when I should have, has gotten me killed. If you don't think when you fight, you can get surrounded, or miss something key. You might rush into something that's clearly a trap." She adjsuts her grip, pulling back with one arm, and the greatsword shifts, splitting open along the blade and changing its form into a bow itself. "And if you just don't... know how to use a bow, I guess I could help some with that, too?" She smiles a bit nervously. Another Valkyrie. This isn't like with the other magical girls... This feels like it might be something more directly related to her. "...And, hey... There's more of us, as well. Not... not Valkyries, but, well..." I. V. Astridr frowns and nods. "I guess you're right. I Just... I don't want this! I'm a famous pop singer. I can't go off saving the world every other day. I've got a life I've got to keep together." She looks at the bow. "I think I know how to use a bow." She quickly stands, knocks an arrow then fires not one but two arrows One misses the targeted tree. The other hits. "Wait. I only fired one arrow!" S. V. Strimla frowns at this. THIS part is nothing like it was for her. Robin jumped at the chance to go out on an adventure and save the world. "You... don't?" He blinks, then looks down at the fox with a frown. "...Are you sure this was a good idea?" she says quietly. None of the other Magical Girls she's met was reluctant to actually be a magical girl... sure, one regretted it, but that was a different thing entirely. She looks up again at the double arrows and blinks. "I... yeah, it looked like that to me, too. I definitely saw two arrows fly, though." She lifts up her own bow, and draws back the string, summoning up an arrow that appears almost like a long, thin, steel rod with a point and fins. She lets the arrow fly at the tree Astridr hit, embedding her own arrow in the tree. Just the one arrow flies, though. "It would be a good for confusing the enemy, but..." The Fox nods slowly at Strimla. Nope. Can't talk to her but she can at least answer simple questions. She turns her attention to Astridr. ~You've shown the world this variation of you. You are not a pop singer. You are simply a side show act. People wish not to hear your songs but to see you become a mockery of yourself. If you want to be a real singer... a real artist. One that is not a side show act, do this and discover yourself.~ Astridr sighs, "Maybe you're right. You don't even know me but... you might be right." She looks at Strimla and sighs, "I'm in I guess. The fox said I'm little more then a side show act right now. a freak. I guess this is the way." She takes a deep breath. She nocks another arrow and sends it flying. 2 of them again. Both embed on other side of the one Strimla fired. One fades away. "Huh. An illusion." S. V. Strimla nods slowly at first... Then laughs and nods more enthusiastically. "Yes, of course! You're the Illusion Valkyrie, right?" She smiles and nods, then stows Gnistra behind her back, the bow vanishing away in a way that it really just shouldn't. "I saw your concert, by the way, I was there. You were good, but... yeah, there were some guys near me that just seemed to want to see a fight. Uhhh... yeah, they got their wish after you left. Maybe you'd be happy to know one of them got knocked flat out?" She shrugs, then looks back in the general direction of town. "So... what are you going to do, then? From what I've heard, a pop singer's usually pretty busy, right? Um... how are you gonna fit this stuff in?" I. V. Astridr Looks at Strimla. "I think so." She slings the bow around her body and looks at her as she talks. "Well, small favors. I can't believe people can be such jerks like that. Thank you though. It is nice to hear that sort of thing. It just really hurt ya know? When people like that interrupt a concert. I'm not the biggest fan of the beach because Of how the sand gets into everything. Its really gross. Especially when you're trying to get it out of mic covers." S. V. Strimla nods and steps over to a convenient log to sit down. "Mic covers?" she says with a blink. It's like she's never heard of them before... "Uh, anyway. Yeah. Sorry, I wasn't the one that decked him. I kinda saw the brawl happening ahead of time and got out of there before I could get drawn in." She looks over at the fox again. "...And then you showed up." She sighs and shakes her head before looking back up to Astridr. "Well, my plans for the night are bust. I'm guessing yours are, too. Do you need help getting back to... wherever you're staying?" I. V. Astridr frowns, "I don't know where I am staying. Honestly When I go back I know what will happen. I will wind up in a fight with my manager about not finishing the show and letting the jerks get to me. Things will go bad and I will probably fire them or something. Maybe its best if I just cool down a while." S. V. Strimla frowns at that. Sure, she doesn't quite understand quite how big a deal getting rid of an entire management team is, but she does know another problem with Korrine not knowing where she's staying. "I.... only have a studio apartment. And I've already got someone else, another one of the magical girls in the area, staying with me, so it's... a bit crowded already." She bites at her lip slightly, then looks down at he hip. "I can make a call if you need a place to stay, but... uhhh... Look, just... don't freak out too much, okay? I have to untransform to get at my cell phone." With that said, she grips at the gem on her chest and twists. Like rippling metal, her outfit starts peeling away, seemingly taking her skin with it! Her very form that emerges from underneath couldn't fit inside Strimla, but there he is anyway, taller, broader shouldered, and definitely more masculine. "Uh... I'm Robin," he says a bit sheepishly. I. V. Astridr smiles a little. "Okay." When she turns into a boy she can't help but stifle a laugh. "Huh! Cute!" She snickers. Her attention goes to the fox, "If I am going to do this I need to know how to return to being normal as well as change." Just as she thinks about it her body shifts back to normal. ~To transform, you must summon your weapon by calling out, Seidr. That is your bow's name. You have figured out how to turn back.~ The fox almost smiles to her. ~As for me, I am Runa. Call me when you need guidance and I shall appear. I was assigned to aid you and I will do so.~ "Runa? Okay could be worse." Korrine snickers. She looks over at Robin. "My name is Korrine. Korrine Fox. Nice to meet you." Robin glances away, a slight blush on his cheeks. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. Apparently Valkyries have to be female? I dunno how any of this works." He sighs and looks back over at the fox as Korrine apparently identifies it. "Runa?" He then looks up at Korrine again with a slight smirk. "Yeah, I gathered. Lemme call up a friend, I... think she has some spare rooms still." He pulls out his cell phone and calls up, of course, Miyu. Korrine nods, "Sorry. I just got caught by surprise is all." She smiles and sits back down. "Okay Runa. You said I am the Illusion valkyrie. What does this mean? That i don't really exist or something?" She asks curiously. The fox steps closer to her and responds to her, ~You are the Illusion Valkyrie. This means that your magic is illusion magic. Just as when you fire an arrow there are two, You will be able to do much more in time. Something you should know. When you fire an arrow, the better of the two arrows will always be the real one.~ The other side would pick up, emitting the sound of Miyu's usual stoicness. "Hello Strimla-san." Robin glances at Korrine, then the fox as he waits for a pickup. "Heeeey, uhhhh... Miyu... How are you doing... uhhhh... so, I've run into someone out here who... has kind of..." He pauses, trying to figure out a nice way of saying it. "Well, she doesn't have a place to stay for tonight, and, well, you know, my apartment is... not large nough for three people, really." Miyu says, "I'm alright. Are you ok....you sound...bothered?" She's not sure bothered is a good word for it. Deffinetly awkward. "Oh, someone needs help? ...big brother's example would be to invite them in and we still have several rooms..."" Korrine idly reaches out to pet Runa. The fox allows her too. "So I guess this means I've got a pet fox now. I bet that will annoy the manager too. Though I think it will be funny!" ~I am not a pet but I will remain near you.~ Runa responds giving her a little glare. "Err Thats the definition of pet. I take care of you, you help me. You stay with me. You're a pet." Korrine states with a cocky smirk. The fox promptly nips her for it. "Hey! No biting!" Robin watches the antics to his side with a slight sigh. "Yeah, uh... we'll be over in a bit. It'll be easier to explain when we get there. And thanks. Uhhhh... you don't mind if she has an animal with her, do you?" His eyes haven't left Korrine and Runa throughout the call. Really, what else is there to look at? "I'll see you when we get there." Miyu blinks slightly on her end of the phone. "We've never had a pet...it was too much of a luxury in the dying world, I think...I don't think big brother would mind." Robin nods, even though Miyu can't see that, and says, "Okay, good. We'll be there as soon as we can. Bye!" He hangs up and offers Korrine a smile. "Good news. She still has a spare room. No need to stuff yourself into my cramped place or find somewhere else." Korrine smiles, "Okay. I guess lets go. I am guessing Runa is coming too. SHe doesn't seem to want to leave me. Like a good PET!" She snaps only to get nipped again. "HEY! Knock it off with that! Or I will put you in time out!?" Robin stands up and offers a hand. "I think I can find my way there from here? We might want to take a train, though..." He then blinks at the interaction of the two. He sighs again. "Do I need to seperate you two?" he asks with a slight smirk. After a possibly awkwardly silent train ride in which Robin found himself unsure of how to fill the void, the two do arrive at Miyu's place! Miyu is waiting out in her front yard, just past the entry gate way as they arrive. It's a nice place in a nice, quiet neighborhood, but then that's HARDLY surprising when you learn who lives RIGHT NEXT DOOR to her. You don't live by those three and be in the ghettos... Miyu waves and opens the gate for them. "Hello...you're who Robin-san has brought?" It was not as silent for the young pop star. She was still in her clothing from the concert. Within moments she had a small line up all asking for autographs. She is actually happy to give them but is also a little nervous given she's running around with a guy she only just met and a literal fox. So when the jacket is offered she does put it on and put the hood up. As they arrive, she smiles a little to Miyu. "Yes. My name is Korrine Fox. I am umm...Well A pop star. And umm." She just looks at Robin not knowing if she should say more. Robin goes ahead and speaks up and spills the beans. "She's one of us," he says simply. "And... uh, well, really new at it. Like... really, really new... as in I think I saw her transform for the first time?" He glances over at Korrine again looking for a confirmation. Miyu says, "Pop star? ...that means you're a kind of musician? ...I remember Illya and some of the others talking about them at school when I was in her world, but I never really understood.... I'm sure big brother knows though." She blinks again, still keeping a stoic appearance as she looks over Korrine upon Robin's mention of her being a brand new magical girl. She should say SOMETHING, but what's good to say at a time like this? It's probably awkward, but what finally comes out of her mouth is, "Welcome to being a magical girl..."" Korrine smiles, "A vocalist. I also play the piano." She smiles a little. "I'm sorta famous." She blushes a little. Then the official welcome. "Huh. Oh umm, thank you. Yeah Its going to take some getting used to. I feel really odd about the whole thing. I mean I had a fox start talking tonight. Speaking of." She looks down to her new companion. "This is Runa. She is my... Companion." She states and that brings a little smile from the fox. "She is the one who decided I should become umm... Magical?" Robin looks upward. "Yeah... It sure as heck gets some getting used to, especially for me." He smirks lightly. He then frowns slightly. "I guess I didn't realize how well known you were when I suggested taking a train... sorry about that. I'm... Kind of out of the loop on a lot of stuff... my, uh... home world wasn't quite as, uh, advanced as this one." Miyu blinks as she looks at the fox. "She talks to you," she wonders. Of course, given her rarity of emotional display, it's hard to tell if this is a disbeliving question, or just a simple question. Though it should be a short lived sort of uncertainty. "Hello Runa-san..." She nods in agreement with Robin. "My homeland was dying, so there wasn't much entertainment like that by the time I was old enough to understand." Korrine nods, "She does! Robin can't hear her though. Only me. She has been explaining about how my magic is and stuff." She shrugs. Meanwhile Runa bows politely. Korrine frowns, "I am so sorry. That is horrible. Entertainment helpsso much! It makesl ife better!" Robin nods, then widens his eyes slightly as he remembers another detail. "Oh! It... at least sounds like Korrine's transformation might be... related to mine somehow. I'm Steel Valkyrie Strimla..." He then turns to look at Korrine again. "...and she's Illusion Valkyrie Astridr." He then sighs and looks back towards the door. "I... probably should get going. I've got breakfast shift at the Cafe tomarrow." Miyu take out a cutesy (so cutesy it probably looks like a fake) wand, which proceeds to bow in turn. "Hello Fox-san," the wand says as it is bowing, "Hello Runa-san. Welcome Back Robin-san." Miyu just holds Sapphire out, as if trying to get that to do all the explanation FOR her on why she's so accepting of a talking fox. She nods to Korrine "When I was in Illya's world, Illya really liked magical girl anime...and another school friend liked...those mangas with boys doing lewd things in them..." She actually blushes slightly even passingly mentioning such a thing. "Take care Robin-san." Korrine shutters at that thought. "I never thought I would be a Magical girl. I mean I just have a really horrible reputation." She sighs softly. "I sorta fight a lot. and people like that it seems. Its why I agreed to be a Magical girl though." Robin reaches out to put a hand on Korrine's shoulder. "Maybe you can find a way to... make it work? I used to travel with a guy who did a lot of singing and fiddling on the side..." He then glances away, "Of course, we had to keep an eye on him. He also was a bit of a theif..." He sighs and shakes his head. "Yeah, well... Good luck, then. I'll see you tomarrow, maybe." Miyu says, "...I see nothing wrong with that. Some people think I am not good as a magical girl, but it seems like the people here are more accepting. You can probably do well here too." Korrine nods, "I just... I hope I do alright. I'm sorta nervous. Not to mention that I have a bit of a temper problem. I have fired more managers then I can count now." SHe frowns. Miyu says, "We've known people with tempers before...I think it'll be ok... One of them was even my magical girl mentor..." She'd move over toward the door and hold it open for Korrine." Korrine quietly enters with her companion. She gives a little smile, "This is a nice place. I am so sorry for putting you out like this. I just... after the horrible show tonight, I don't want to fight with my manager." Miyu says, "It's Ok...we have plenty of room. There are only three of us living here. Me, my big brother, and another magical girl like Robin-san. ...I mean another boy that becomes a magical girl. I am also a magical girl, but, of course, I am not a boy. You can have any of the guest rooms but La Pucelle-san's. ...you probably want to eat and bathe first after a bad sounding night though... Do be careful to make it clear you are bathing though, since there are two boys here. ...you probably won't beed help punishing them if they make a mistake though."" Korrine nods, "I will put something on the door to let them know. If they still come in? Well I've knocked guys out before." She snickers almost playfully. "But I think I know what I am going to do. Everything sorta got turned upside down for me tonight. I might talk to my Manager tomorrow and tell him I need a break. A few weeks of rest. I don't think I have too many concerts coming up but, I can't keep a full schedule right now." Miyu nods in understanding. "If I wasn't in the state I was at the time, becoming a magical girl would have been a hard adjustment. I was a shut in that went from being kidnapped to being homeless in a strange world though, so I didn't have much to adjust to...I still have trouble because I am more logical than creative though. ...I make platforms I jump between instead of being able to grasp flight..." Korrine nods slowly, "Well, I am much more creative then I am logical. I apparently do Illusion magic. I dunno what allI can do right now but, It will be fun to learn I guess. I think..." She pauses and actually does think a moment. "I think maybe we could help each other out if you are interested. I mean I could help you to realy experience the creative side of things. " Miyu says, "...that should be nice." It probably isn't hard to imagine her sucking at having a creative mind, given she's just a little, 11 year old girl, but she's only emitting slightly more emotion than a robot, and talking a bit maturely for the age as well. Deffinetly NOT a normal little girl. "Having friends has helped a little...but it's not really a thing anyone's seemed sure of how to help with. First, is there something I should ask big brother to cook for you?"" Korrine smiles, "I'm willing to try anything. I've had really crazy stuff from high end resturants. Don't tell my parents or my manager but, I like normal homestyle food better. Its more filling and really comforting." Miyu says, "My brother is best with Japanese homestyle. I'll have him make something basic since you sound like you want something more normal..." She seems maybe a touch spoiled in this reguard... Maybe it's just because she IS this young?" Korrine smiles softly. She takes a deep breath. "Ummm Okay well I guess I should probably take a bath. I still smell like sweat from the concert. One thing that I really can't help but hate is spot lights. Those things are really hot!" She looks around. "Umm where do I go for the bath." Miyu shows Korrine to the bathroom. "I'll got talk with brother while you are bathing then....there shouldn't be a rush on it..." Korrine nods slowly. She slips into the the bathroom and promptly hangs a her top on the door knob outside to show there is someone in there. Then she strips down and runs a bath. A deep breath and slips into the hot water. Its a nice relaxing thing. She adds a little soap to the water, making it a nice bubble bath. "Ahhhhhh" Miyu does like she said and talks to her brother somewhere off screen, which somehow, without his appearance, causes a nice little meal to eventually show up on the dining table! It should take long enough for Korrine to get a nice relaxing bath though. About an hour passes before the new girl comes back out. Its night and day. The make up is gone. Her hair is down instead of flashily styled. She looks like an entirely different person. If not for the same clothing, she could pass for someone different. The smell of the food draws her to the dining table. "Oh wow. This smells amazing!" Korrine quickly sits down and begins digging in. Miyu gives a little nod. "Big brother has always been good that this sort of thing...he used to take care of our father and me..." She's already eaten, so she's just hanging out incase she needs to ask anything else for Korrine. Korrine smiles, "This is really nice. Its peaceful here. I only had a few people asking for autographs. I love my fans. They are amazing. They can just get a little annoying." Miyu says, "I can't even guess what that's like...I know what it's like to be around a lot of people from here and Illya's world, but...not used to good attention from a lot of people...just the bad kind." Korrine smiles a little as she eats a little. Then she pauses, "Listen, you have a really kind demeanor. If anyone should draw positive attention its you! Don't worry people will see it soon enough." She smiles a little. Part of her wants to sing for the girl but thankfully she doesn't go full musical. Miyu tilts her head a little, emitting a nearly missable blush again. "Thank you..." she murmurs. She seems to think better of going into more detail, not for any kind of suspicion, but because saying much more in that direction would be revealing a lot at once and that probably would be wierd to explain to someone she just met. Korrine smiles, "Don't worry. Things will get better." She states kindly. "And you're welcome." She finishes up her dinner. "I should probably get a little rest. I know tomorrow I am going to have to do a press confrence." She shutters. Miyu nods and gives a little bow of her head. "Rest well..." she says, "The guest rooms are in that direction, and only one is being used, you can use which ever one you want..." Korrine nods, "Thank you so much, Miyu-san." She looks at Runa and smiles, "You coming too?" The fox gets up and follows her. She slips into an empty room and gets comfortable there. | |
