Summary: In which La Pucelle stumbles upon Steel Valkyrie Strimla |
Down below, nothing seems to be different, no people screaming, no throngs of mysteriously listless people(there's one guy that looks a little off, but he's most likely just drunk). There's nothing really there interesting at all. No, what might be interesting is across the street; the glint of metal as someone else is jumping from one rooftop to another. La Pucelle hms looking over spotting something shiny and it appears to be someone else jumping across the rooftops! Since it doesn't looking like anyone else need any help right now leaps across the rootop to follow this mysterious figure. She hoping it someone she knows, but it might be someone up to no good as well! The figure leaps across several more buildings, then comes to a stop a block away from the high school. Now that they've stopped moving, its easier to make out the cause of the glint of metal: A very large sword that the woman is carrying! With the halted movement, the long red hair and the fact that she seems to be wearing a skirt with a long bow at the back is also more apparent... but as yet she doesn't appear to be aware of La Pucelle following her. La Pucelle is a bit surprised to see someone else with a sword just as large as her! Then again huge swords are not odd in video games and anime, and that it looks cool. One of the reason she uses a sword like that! La Pucelle just keep her distance a building away she just want to obverse what she is doing before she possibly goes over and introduces herself. The woman just stands there looking over the high school, the largest building in the area, for a moment before she takes a leap down and across the way, landing breifly on the wall of the school before jumping to window sill to tree to the sill the next story up, and so on until she reaches the top of the clock tower. Well who ever she is she doing what La Pucelle is doing and just parotling.. She pretty agile too. She might as well go and introduce herself. What could possibly do wrong? She makes herself pretty noticeable jumping onto the highscholl roof then leap up onto the top of the clock tower. She paues for a second to the girl catch her breath after La Pucelle sudden appearace. "umm hi." It seems the red-headed woman didn't need to catch her breath at all... because as La Pucelle arrives atop the tower, there's a bow aimed in her general direction. Where'd the sword go? At any rate, this... clearly magical girl, now that a clearer look can be had, still has to adjust her aim a little, having lost track of just exactly where her tail was coming up. "Hello," she says with a calm and steady voice... but the bow isn't going down. La Pucelle is a bit surpised at the sword dissapearing and changing to bow! She not surpised she getting a weapon pointed at her. "I'm not going to attack if that what you are thinking. I just saw you going from rooftop and rooftop and followed you. I assume your a magical girl. I'm one too. Not many in this city.." S. V. Strimla blinks and lowers the weapon as La Pucelle explains herself quickly. "Oh, uhh... yeah, sorry! I'm a little bit on edge still in this city and, uh, might have overreacted some?" She adjusts her grip on the bow and it shifts its parts, extending in some areas, completely morphing in others, to return to its prior greatsword form. "But, uh... Magical Girl?" she asks, her left eye twitching slightly. "I prefer the term 'Magic Knight.'" You know, like Magic Knight Rayearth! A well known Magical Girl! Yeah, someone might be in denial about that one... La Pucelle smiles and waves her hand. "No worries. I was pretty on edge when I first got here. Sorry I just assumed Magic Knight then. A few call me a The Dragon Knight.", the reason should be pretty obvious with the tail and antenna. She seen Magic Knight Rayearth so she okay with that term! S. V. Strimla pauses for a moment before she sets the point of her sword on the rooftop and apparently leans on the handle slightly. It only appears she's doing that... if she actually put weight on it, it'd likely cut into the roof. She peers over the Dragon Knight for a moment before she says, "Steel Valkyrie. Steel Valkyrie Strimla," as a way of introducing herself. "I just got here a few days ago, myself... I'm still learning the city. It's.... big." La Pucelle smiles. "La Pucelle. I've only been here about a month myself Steel Valkyire.", she ponders on what excatly to call Steel Valkyrie Strimla.. "I know! Maps don't really help either. The city seem to be always expanding or changing.." S. V. Strimla waves a hand dismissively, the other still keeping her sword steady. "Eehhhh... just Strimla is fine." She looks a bit upset at the news that the city keeps changing. "Ugh. Well, I've not gotten a map yet, anyway." She sighs and then walks over to the edge and sits down on it, letting her legs dangle off the side as she sets the sword down on the rooftop. "So... Then... What do you do here?" she aks tentatively. She's come across someone with an odd sort of kindred spirit, it seems... perhaps she should make a stronger effort with this person to get to know them? La Pucelle smiles. "Allright Strimla is fine.", she sits down too on the ledge next to Strimla but not too close. This bring back some memories for her. "What do I do? well I mostly stop injustices from happening! And helping people out where I can.." S. V. Strimla actually frowns at that, but nods nonetheless. "Yeah... If only that was all we needed to do." She lets out another sigh and slumps slightly. "I don't think I've got a good eye for it, just yet. I'm used to... well, working in a group and getting some paying jobs as well. I'm not used to this... city hunting. I'm not sure what I should do."[Fixed] "It hard just working alone. I can relate. I used to work in a parter.. I don't have a job myself!", or a place to live but she not to mention that. "This might be a bit forward of me but we should team up! Mabye we could get Miyu to join too! Miyu another magical girl. She a bit shy thought." S. V. Strimla pauses a moment, then slowly turns to look at La Pucelle again. She's trying to get an idea of the age of the person she's talking to, that would just up and suggest teaming up within minutes of first meeting. Especially when the first words were exchanged with an arrow pointed at her! In the end... it actually seems not that terribly atypical for how quickly an adventuring party can form up, given the right circumstance. She suddenly smirks at the other Magical Girl. "Just like this, you barely know me, you don't know a thing about me, my powers, what I really want... And you think we should team up like that?" La Pucelle is 14 and can be impulsive. Cost her bad once before. "Well when you put it like that.. But were on the same side right? Right?" S. V. Strimla tilts her head and raises an eyebrow. "I don't know. 'Side' suggests there's already teams, doesn't it? I'm not really... against anything, either. On the other hand..." She leans back to the point that she's now lying with her back on the roof, looking up at the sky. "...If the idea is to be a hero... then that's the main goal, I suppose." La Pucelle hms kicking her legs back and forth while she sits on the ledge. "I'm working towards being my ideal magical girl. Isn't better to work as a team then alone? I think so..", she sighs and does miss the other magical girl she knew.. S. V. Strimla nods. "Yeah. I never did anything alone back in my world. I always had a team... shifting here and there for the worst reasons..." She lets what those 'worst reasons' are go unsaid. "But I've never worked with another... 'Magical Girl,' as you put it, before. I'm the only one that transformed...." She then holds a hand up. "Though I suspect Mizuray wasn't actually a winged tiger." La Pucelle says, "well where I am from there were 16 of us magical girls. Thought some worked alone and others teamed up. I guess it really depended on how the person wanted to work. But we all knew each other and chatted. Well most of us."" S. V. Strimla sits up again and looks at La Pucelle. "Sixteen? Huh. Well, I don't know much about where exactly my powers came from, so I can't say how many there were in my world... But I never met any of them." She looks at the other magical girl's sword for a moment before laying down. "Well, at any rate... Yeah. At least for now. I don't see a reason not to team up. Like I said... I'm used to working in a group." Well, she's certainly not put much more thought into it than La Pucelle has. La Pucelle says, "Well we started getting widdled now..", she pauses thinking on that. Something else happend but she not sure what. "Allright! We will need to find a headquarters! I'll have ask Miyu if she want to join next time I see her.."" S. V. Strimla winces slightly and nods at the comment of getting wittled down. The sudden announcement of needing a headquarters and asking of another magical girl gets a slightly surprised look from Strimla, however. "I... ye... well, don't look at me for help on /that/ one, I've not even slept indoors since I got here!" La Pucelle says, "well I thought mabye..", she puts her hand to her forehead. "oh of course! Sorry I wasn't thinking.."" S. V. Strimla laughs as she shakes her head. "Look, I might have been out in the world adventuring for over a year, but I don't know anything about having an actual place. It's the adventurer's way. At this point, I think even my parents' farm is probably gonna go to one of my siblings, not me, so..." She shrugs. "Having land or a building, or apartment or whatever, not really something I know anything about." La Pucelle ohs. "I don't either. I..", she doesn't say anymore. She doesn't want to give much any about what her private life was. "mabye I'll check with Miyu or I'll looks around from something abandoned maybe.. S. V. Strimla nods. "I... yeah, check with her. I might look to see if I can find something abandoned, too, but..." She winces a bit at that. "That might not be so good. I'm not sure what we should do, in the end. You know. Like I've been saying the whole time." With that said, she gets back up to her feet. "But I should go find a nice place to sleep for the night. On a clock tower doesn't sound like a place that'll let me sleep the whole night through..." La Pucelle giggles. "I think the bells would wake you up too!" S. V. Strimla looks a bit tired as she nods. "Yeah... Yeah they would. I've been noticing where all the clock and bell towers are... not as many as I'd have expected, but... Well, different city, different culture, apparently. And what I'm used to is apparently backwards, so I'm back to being the yokel." She sighs, then shakes her head. "Sorry." La Pucelle says, "It happens. In some ways this place looks like my home but other ways not. It get really wierd when you meet and see thing you didn't belive we're real. I met some talking ponies! Really!"" S. V. Strimla blinks and nods. "Yeah! I met one of them, too, I think! Well, she was a pegasus, if that counts. Though... the freakiest things I've seen are all the mechanical stuff... the cars, trains... These boats without sails, and the airplanes!" Wait, what kind of world did Strimla /come/ from? La Pucelle ohs and has a good idea what kind of world Strimla came from. "Well that sort of stuff is common where I came from. It the other stuff that throws me off. It really weird meeting one of you idols from a piece of fiction you liked." S. V. Strimla tilts her head slightly as she looks out over the immediate area again, perhaps sizing up where would be far enough from the clock tower to sleep. "I've heard of that happening. Not seen it... but heard of it..." After a moment, she seems to decide on a place. "At any rate... I'll try to see you around. Maybe come back here every few days? See if either of us figures something out?" La Pucelle nods. "I think that a good idea. This is a good meeting spot." S. V. Strimla nods. "Well, good luck. And wish me some as well, eh?" With that said, she makes a few motions and a set of metallic angel wings sprout from the pack of her uniform. She takes a running leap off the clock tower and flies off into the night. La Pucelle says, "Good luck to you too!", she shouts at Strimla dissapears into the night." | |
