School's gotten out once again. Miyu is....honestly rather indifferent. This isn't like before with Illya. She's no friends in class as of yet. At the same time, she's mature enough that she doesn't actually MIND the whole going to classes thing. If anything makes her care either way, it's that going home means seeing her big brother....who's been VERY busy with whoever in the world KNOWS what since they arrived in the multiverse. ...so yeah, Miyu's VERY casually strolling her way toward home.

From the alleyway next to the Nekohanten suddenly bolts a somewhat familiar face to Miyu... that of a red-haired young man. He narrowly ducks under a thrown mace, then dips around the building next to the restaurant to hide just behind a small hedge. Soon after, a teenage woman with green hair in a bob cut and dressed in somewhat rustic Chinese garb steps out after him in a bit of a huff, carrying another one of the maces that was thrown after Robin. She looks up and down the street and, not seeing him, crosses her arms and pouts. "Why you no fight Pomade?" She huffs and walks back into the alleyway, looking oddly insulted. Robin, for his part, looks fearful and is doing his best to look small and be silent.

Miyu pauses and furrows her brows somewhat at the odd incident. She was sure she saw Si--err Robin. She looks back and forth with an obvious hesitation before following the direction she thinks she saw Robin run off to.

Robin takes a moment finally poke his head out from the bushes, it just so happens right in front of Miyu. "...Miyu? Uhhhh.... you didn't see an amazon with a pair of maces following me, did you? Or is the coast clear?"

Miyu nods in reply. "I saw her and she gave up at that alleyway. Did you get hurt?" She tilts her head and shifts her backpack a little. "If you were, Sapphire-san or I might be able to do something about it?"

Robin hops out of the bushes with a sigh of releif. "Good. She's been wanting to fight me for a couple of months now. I can honestly say I have no idea why she wants to beat me up so much, I was perfectly nice to her before then... I tried being nicer to her after and it's just gotten worse!" He shakes his head and puts his hands into the pockets of his hoodie. "Um, sooooo, what's up? How're you doing, Miyu?"

Miyu raises a brow. "And she seemed really disappointed you didn't want to fight rather than being angry," she murmurs, "That was really strange...if she's trying to fight harder the more you're nice to her, maybe she's one of those types of people...um...I think Illya would have called them tsundere?" She seems to feel like that's the wrong answer though. "I'm ok," she responds with her usual flatness, being only slightly better than a child Rei Ayanami at her default, but at least she's not AS flat as all that all the time. "...and I would take it this means you aren't hurt?"

Robin blinks at that, clearly being unfamiliar with the term. "Tsun... dere? The heck is that?" He then shakes his head. "Nah, I'm fine. You, uh, go to school around here, do you?" he asks, then looks around. "Honestly, I usually fly home from work," he mumbles, but it sounds like he did intend for Miyu to hear it.

Miyu says, "It's when someone likes you, but they pretend to hate you. I think that was the word they used for it. "Yes, and I can manage the walk...it seems like it would be more difficult to go home by sky." Then again she runs and jumps for her style of sky travel. "What job is it you do with people like that around though?""

Fluttershy steps out of a swirling silver portal that appears in midair, and closes just as suddenly behind her.

Robin raises an eyebrow as he looks back in the direction of the restaurant. "Haven't I told you? I bus tables... but I've been thinking of starting doing some Badlands stuff... I'd need a solid team for that, though... Don't think it's a good idea to go out there alone." He motions his head on down the road. "Don't let me keep you from getting home. We can walk and talk... just... don't go in front of the Nekohanten..."

Miyu says, "Yes...you have...I am just confused because of the situation before. Is there some sort of theme there?" She nods and continues in the direction of her house. "Why IS it called the badlands? ...that name makes me imagine somewhere like my world."

Fluttershy comes flying in down the lane, keeping a bit low to the ground as usual. She spreads her small wings, slowing and dropping to the sidewalk, 'Oh...hello Miss Miyu, Um, Robin," she greets, 'How are you both this evening?

Robin walks along with the schoolgirl. "No, it's... just a chinese restaurant, as far as I know. I mean, it's /run/ by a pretty odd bunch. Joketsuzoku, they call themselves, but I've heard some people just call them 'Chinese Amazons.'" He shrugs. "Oh, the Badlands? I guess because it's a place that most people really, really shouldn't go to. It's really dangerous... I showed up there, and ther ewas this giant rabbit with fists for hands that tried to kill me along with a bunch of other people." He looks over as he spots the incoming pastel pegasus. "Oh, hey, Fluttershy. I'm doing okay, how are you?"

Miyu peers toward the pony and gives a little nod in greeting. "Hello Fluttershy-san," she greets, "I've been ok..." Hearing Robin's explanations, she gives another nod. "That doesn't sound like my world, actually. Mine just seems like that place we go when we fight the spirits attached to the cards. I'm not sure where that actually is now because it's mirroring Neo Tokyo and not Illya's world."

Fluttershy says, "I'm fine, thank you," she tucks her wings to her sides, stepping closer. "Are...you having some difficulties?"

Robin frowns slightly, then shakes his head. "Not any more than usual? I'm thinking of supplementing my income with some expeditions into the Badlands... once I find some other people willing to go as well. I think it'll keep me from feeling restless? Well, I hope so, at any rate."

Miyu says, "It's been quiet since we fought the Rider Class Card... I really don't know a lot about the badlands. Do you think I should go?"

Fluttershy says, "I'd never ever go there...I hear it's a terrible scary place....."

Robin frowns, then looks to Fluttershy. "It is," he says simply. "So... yeah, I'd not suggest it to someone like you. I'm pretty battle hardened, though." He pauses as Miyu asks if she should go. "I dunno. I guess... well, you seemed fairly capable in that fight. I... /think/ you'll be fine?"

Miyu says, "It might help me learn the new cards better... Did you need anything Fluttershy-san?"

Fluttershy hmms? "Oh no, I'm just doing a little...um...exploring....I haven't really seen much of this part of town."

Robin glances left and right. "I've heard there's a lot of strong martial artists in this area, but... other than the ones I work with, I've not really noticed them."

Miyu says, "I was just returning from school when I saw Robin-san. ...it's nice to run into people like this..."

Fluttershy nods, "I Agree," she smiles. "At least it's nice to meet when nothing is um..blowing up around here...

Robin laughs and nods to Fluttershy. "Yes, well, blowing up is usually when things are out of my league! Though the other day when someone tried to blow up that other guy, I did okay..." He glances left and right before saying, "Um, anyway... Yeah, Badlands might be an okay way to test your cards. I still think we should get at least one more person with us if we go there..." He glances over his shoulder, looking to make sure Pomade didn't head out looking for him again.

Miyu says, "I can invite you in for tea when we get to my house." This is aimed at both of them, of course. "One more person? Not....that other person we know?""

Fluttershy says, "I'm sure Rainbow Dash would be hapy to help, she's not afarid of anything...and she's really tough, too."

Robin tilts his head, then shrugs to Miyu. "I suppose... she... would be fine, too. We could use it as a training session." He then nods to Fluttershy. "Yeah... I get the feeling Rainbow Dash would be fine out there."

Fluttershy says, "Pinkie Pie isn't afarid of anything either...and Twilight.....oh...I think I must be the biggest coward sometimes....."

Miyu says, "...you aren't a coward. You helped when the first card appeared, Fluttershy-san."

Fluttershy says, "I can be brave...sometimes...but I'm not brave all the time like my friends....."

Robin reaches over towards Fluttershy, then realizes she doesn't really have a shoulder to pat like he would were she humanoid. He does end up reaching to pat her back in front of her wings instead. "Fluttershy, not everyone is a fighter. Don't worry about it."

Miyu says, "That's right, if it isn't who you are, you shouldn't force yourself. That doesn't mean you're a coward. Just like I'm not a /good/ magical girl...but then I kind of have to force that one, so never mind..."

Fluttershy says, "I try to not worry so much about it...I can be brave when my friends need me, and my friends are there for me, when I can't face things on my own."

Fluttershy says, "So it all works out."

Well, if Miyu's going to just say that, Robin won't bother trying to avoid talking about that. "What makes you say you're not a good magical girl, Miyu?" he asks. He then gives a smile and nods to Fluttershy.

Miyu says, "I'm still learning to make friends...I'm not good at being imaginative instead of logical...it's why I stair climb instead of fly. ...I'm trying to get better at it though."

Fluttershy says, "I was never really good at making friends..well..untill I met my friends, anyway....."

Robin frowns slightly, then shrugs. "Eh. Who says there's no room for logic in a magical girl team? Doesn't any team need all sorts? I'm pretty sure it'd be bad if /I/ were the smartest person on the team... And hey, if you need more friends, hang out with the ponies or me more often, yeah?"

Fluttershy giggles a little. "It does take all types to make a team...or even just a group of friends....

Miyu says, "Sapphire-san and Ruby-san sort of tease me about it...mostly Ruby-san, Sapphire's a lot more polite. Minerva-san sort of says it too, but then she partially took it back, so I suppose she didn't mean it seriously...but Sapphire-san's the one that's making me a magical girl. ...what you're saying sounds more correct to me though...""

Robin frowns slightly, then shrugs again. "My last team was a bit more... varied in the type of adventurers we were. Being varied really helped. If anything, too many of us were in melee."

Fluttershy says, "Well, if you'll excsue me, I really have to get home....take care, you two, I'm sure I'll see you both soon...."

Robin waves to Fluttershy. "Sure thing. Take care, Flutters."

Miyu waves after Fluttershy. "See you..." she calls, "...I guess I should be out more. It /is/ kind of lonely with how rarely I see big brother and how none of my old friends are here."

Robin nods sadly. "Yeah... it is the tough part... none of our friends from before. No contact, no way of contacting." He sighs and shakes his head. "I've not even found anyone from a world like mine. Except /maybe/ Filia, but I've not seen her since the day I got here."

Miyu says, "...I am really happy brother showed up with me. Especailly since we just got him away from the enemy. I'm not sure what I'd be doing if I was completely alone again. It seems like people are good at being busy in this place.""

Robin frowns, then nods. "I suppose so. There's people I wish I saw more of... but I never can seem to catch them, unfortunately."

Miyu nods in agreement. "There was someone planing with me to help take down the Berserker card, but I just stopped ever hearing from him... I wonder if he's ok."

Robin frowns, then looks down to Miyu. "Who was that?" he asks, curious if he might have known the person.

Miyu says, "Someone called Jason, he helped with both the cards before he found that one too...but then...maybe he got busy like some of the other people?"

Robin pauses, then shrugs. It's not someone that sounds familiar to him. "I guess. Sometimes I worry people get pulled away just like they get brought in. I'm worried I'll never see some of the people I've met here again. Just like the people from home."

Miyu is, of course, still leading the way. They've gotten into a nice seeming, light woodsy area with lots of nice seeming houses. Generally it's not the high end kind of nice, but more just...the kind that just make it feel like a quiet, welcoming neighborhood. ...some houses are a /bit/ bigger than others though. The temple is obviously sizable enough to be of notice. There's also what looks like a small mansion in Japanese styling, which is actually what she comes to a stop in front of. "...maybe, but if that's the case, maybe you will see home again some day? If people get pulled away, it could be that they go back home..."

Robin pauses, then shrugs. "I guess I hope so. But honestly? I think I prefer this world to my own." He looks up at the large house and says, "This your place, huh?"

Miyu nods in reply before leading Robin into the gate. "I can agree with that...but my world was dying because of a large mana shortage."

Robin pauses a moment before following in. "Doesn't Shouta live here, too?" he asks. "Or has he gotten his own place? And... yeah, that sucks. My world just... isn't as nice. Really, electricity is awesome," he says. He can't get over some of the modern technologies.

Miyu says, "Yes, he's been staying in one of the guest rooms. This is why I orginally invited both of you. We've got too much of a house for just two people. ...but this is where my adoptive father chose, so this is where we stayed after he died. Big brother is also a very helpful sort of person. Electricity is nice, yes...otherwise we'd have to have torches every night, wouldn't we?"

Robin shakes his head. "Well, you can imagine one of the reasons I didn't take you up on it back then. I still don't like to take handouts, though... And by now I've got an apartment of my own!" He then looks back down at her with a raised eyebrow. "Campfires, really. Well, honestly? When you're out in the field, travelling... you don't really want to draw attention to yourself even with that, at least not after you've cooked anything hunted through the day."
