Rainbow_Dash comes rocketing in at the sound of the explosion. She screeches in the air, "Okay...whatever that is...can't be good!" She zips down, hoovering in front of the mechanical beast like a Hummingbird. "Hey!" she shouts, "What do you think you're doing? I dunno who or what you are, but I'm gonna give you a change to turn tail and get the hay outta here! S. V. Strimla flies in on steel-feathered wings after she heard the explosion from some distance away. As she gets closer, however, she sees the massive beast and starts looking a bit less confidant in her ability to help. "Look at the size of that thing!" She comes in to hover somewhat behind Rainbow Dash and to the left... for now letting Rainbow Dash do the talking while doing her best to look formidable... a difficult thing to do in the face of something that size. Thankfully, Legends Comics and Games is not itself directly imperiled by the sudden titanic impact. That's not to say that it escapes unscathed, though - most of the storefront windows wind up with stress fractures across the panes, a number of the less sturdily-balanced displays undergo various degrees of collapse, and the power in the store goes out due to an electric line getting torn loose somewhere on the distribution circuit. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" rises a shrill voice from inside the store - and a moment later, while customers are escaping out through the back of Legends, Xiaomu emerges out of the *front* door, Buddhist monk staff in hand and a look of absolute murder on her face. "Aren't kaiju incidents supposed to happen on something like a schedule?!" she calls out, sounding aggrieved. "Once a week, maybe an extra one per month, SOME kind of schedule that lets us know when to batten things down and limit potential property damage? WHO INVITED YOU?!" she yells at the mecha-kaiju, seemingly not intimidated by its massive size. A large crimson semi speeds down the street, heading in the direction of the flames. As it gets closer to the site of the massive machine the front cab detaches from the trailing, transforming in mid-air with a loud. *TSCHE-CHU-CHU-CHU-TSCHE* sound into a large red and blue robot that lands in a crouched position in front of what was once a building, "What in Cybertron's name?" Optimus Prime exclaims as he looks up at the strangely familiar, yet, completely alien machine. The massive dinosaur-like machine lowers it head to stare at Rainbow Dash through glowing orange optics. Its mouth slowly opens to reveal rows of sharp, metallic teeth. Rather than emit some kind of powerful, saurian roar or shriek it instead seems to speak a single word in a deep, reverberating tone. "ZOOOOOOOOOONDEEEEEEEEEEEEER!" Then the back of it's throat glows blue before unleashing a torrent of blue energy streaking across the sky towards the poor pegasus. It doesn't seem like it wants to take part in any friendship magic. Rainbow_Dash says, "Whoa!" and Dodges the incoming beast in the blink of an eye! "Okay, I totally gave you a chance!" she grrrs, then launches into the beast at high speed, trying to kick it in the head as fast and as many times as she can!" S. V. Strimla halts her wings and lets herself just fall out of the way of the blast, opening her wings again before she hits the ground to break her fall. "Well... This will be interesting," she says as she watches the other giant robot, the more articulate one, show up. How the heck did she miss that one arriving? She looks around at what other allies might be in the area, and starts to look a bit worried when the only other being in the area standing up to it is Xiaomu. "Well, hopefully the military shows up soon..." she mumbles, but she still pulls out her greatsword, Gnistra, immediately shifting it into its longbow form. Xiaomu's rage actually comes to a complete and total halt when she hears that singular roar. "Wait, Zonder? As in ...." Then it unleashes its breath weapon - if 'breath' applies to a mechanical being - and the sage fox just winces. "Great ... just *great*." She waves her staff briefly at Optimus and Strimla, "I don't think the regular military's gonna do much good! Zonders are REALLY tough if you don't have a G-Stone or something powering you. They're weakened by courage, though, so ... uh, don't panic?" she suggests, somewhat lamely. Optimus_Prime flips up a panel in his wrist to reveal a communications system and a viewscreen. "Autobots, this is Optimus Prime. We have a situation within the human city, a giant machine is wrecking huge areas and many humans and..." There's a pause as Prime turns his optics towards Xiaomu and then up towards Rainbow Dash. "...other organic sentients are in danger. Dispatch the Protectobots immediately along with any other help that can be mustered. Code: Scramble City!" The titanic machine takes a single step forwards as Rainbow Dash dodges out of the way of its beam, the crackling ray of energy slashing through several more buildings and cutting a small skyscraper cleanly in half, the upper half of it toppling down towards the ground in a shower of glass and melted girders. "ZOOOOOOONDEEEEEEER!" It roars out again, crushing several cars under a foot the size of a whole street from sidewalk to sidewalk. S. V. Strimla draws back her bow and aims it up at the... thing's face. "Right. Weaponize courage somehow." If she knew about Legend of Zelda, she would likely have made a comment about Link being useful. "Luckily I know the difference between having courage and not being afraid," she says as she winces at the skyscraper going down. She lets loose the arrow at the thing's head, then takes to the air again, trying to maneuver her way to land on the thing's back. Rainbow_Dash spins in the air, watching the debris coming down! "Ph...geez!" She rockets back towards the building, shooting through the cars in the way and scooping up anybody she can to get them out of the way! Long has it been since the God of War has been fed. Not since he stepped down from his position of TASK director in the Twisted dimension, that he has indulge in the gory glory that is Kombat. Sure, even here he has his worshipers that honor him with spars and mock battles.. and yet these are naught but entertainment, ceremonies in his name.. Huitzilopotchli craves the danger once again, the risk of not having a safety net. Though he has allowed the tank police of Neo Tokyo to defend their lands as it is their right to do. Today.. the God of War stirs.. and he has emerged from the reclusive throne of the arena. From the sky a tall humanoid figure descends and lands feet first on the pavement stone of the city streets. Turquoise skin shines and glowing eyes peer from under the beak of his eagle helmet to see the battle that unfolds before him.. and he smiles. "Warriors!!" He calls out to those involved as he advances to the giant machine, this Zonder. "Stand fast. The God of War is with you!" Instantly, Kotal Kahn summons a totem from the earth itself and all he deems as allied will feel stronger. Their defenses increasing, and in so doing, preventing more civilian casualties. Xiaomu actually gives Optimus Prime a mild withering look. "You know you *could* mistake me for human and I wouldn't actually be that upset about it, right? That's the whole point of shapeshifting ..." Bah, there's more important things to do. Geeking out over the chance to see an Autobot gestalt in action .... is *NOT* one of them, technically, but it's a good thing to try and latch onto. When she's not trying to avoid getting flattened by a severed chunk of architecture, anyway. She dashes towards a nearby alley that hasn't had a neighboring block crushed yet, and scrambles up a fire escape, only picking up speed as Kotal Khan does his thing and buffs the good guys. Upon reaching the rooftop, Xiaomu flips over the edge onto the roof and draws one of her handguns, swapping clips before chambering a round; she's not sure bullets will do much to a Zonder, but it's at least worth *trying* - maybe Shinra anti-spirit rounds will do something to the Zonder's protective barrier. And with that thought in mind, she starts squeezing off shots, aiming up towards the Zonder's center of mass, taking time between each shot to try and gauge whether she's doing any good at all. Optimus_Prime might actually sweatdrop if he had any kind of sweatglands, "My apologies..." He calls out while narrowing his optics at the advancing Trypticon-like beast. The Zonder gets shot from one side by one of Xiaomu's shells at the same time that Strimula's arrow impacts. The rounds slam into some kind of invisible force field that surrounds the mechanical creature. There's a brief moment of resistance before Xiaomu's shell is expelled from within the field and Strimula's arrow is deflected, however. "ZOOOOONDEEEEEEEER!" It starts to turn its head in Xiaomu's direction while Rainbow Dash is busy saving people from the collapsing building. Oddly, the Zonder doesn't seem to really be openly attacking anything, it just seems to be walking along. Though, even when it's not reacting to an attack its sheer size is more than enough to damage the area. Rainbow_Dash sets the people she's saved out of harm's way. "Time to bring in the big guns!" she rockets into the sky and begins gathering clouds...the sky begins to go dark rather quickly as she blurs from one cloud to the next; Impossibly gathering them and pushing them into one mass.... Kotal Kahn grins as he stares up at the creature's sheer size. "Ah.. the call to battle." This will be a worthy foe indeed if it can just shrug off bullets and arrows like that! Even Kotal Kahn being a god still needs to parry them in order to not take damage. Let's see however how this creature fares when it faces a deity. "From blood follows blood." The Aztec begins to chant as he draws his tecaptl, his obisdian knife, and turns it towards himself rather than the giant Zonder. His obsidian blade cuts at the flesh of his chest and from it godly blood pours. This has the effect that it turns Kotal's yellow lines and eyes into a red color as his power begins to increase, the reality around him begining to warp as cosmic energy is made manifest within his being. Setting the blade back in his belt, the Aztec warrior advances and in what looks like a single step clears the distance between him and the giant creature. In one flowing movement, Kotal Kahn then unleashes a single glowing palm strike. Attacking the Zonder's leg with a punch that could easily split a mountain in half. S. V. Strimla bounces off the shielding as she tries to land on it, then winces again and makes her way to a nearby building. "Here's hoping it doesn't destroy this one," she mumbles as her wings start to evaporate away. "All right!" she calls out as she draws back another steel rod of an arrow in her bow. While she's not entirely sure who has cast the boosting magic, she does know it when she feels it in her. Not having any other real ways of fending this thing off, she lets fly another arrow, trying to hit the thing's center head. The sound of emergency sirens and the whirr of helicopter blades soon fills the air as the Protectobots arrive on the scene. Blades wobbles in the sudden stronger wind being created by the stormy clouds Rainbow Dash has created. "Uh, nobody said anything about heavy turbulence!" He chopper alt-mode 'bot complains while the remaining four ground-based Autobots roll down the street in formation. "Under the circumstances, Blades, you'll just have to 'wing it'." Hotspot replies, to which Blade doesn't seem at all amused, "With a quip like that you'd think we were the Aerialbots." Hotspot seems to ignore the retort, "Enough of the chatter, Protectobots. Prime gave us a mission, so, let's get down to business. Protectobots! Combine and form Defensor!" Xiaomu makes a face, and re-holsters her handgun. No point in wasting MORE bullets if that first shot didn't pierce the Zonder barrier. Meanwhile, the Protectobots are on the scene - and yes, they are indeed going to combine. Xiaomu would probably be squeeing like the otaku that she is if she wasn't more worried about her place of business ... not to mention, well, her own personage. Guns aren't working, the Zonder Robo is too big for her to use a regular Kimon Fuuji to immobilize it ... maybe ice? She pulls her staff from across her back, gripping it with both hands and focusing, trying to start conjuring ice *inside* the Zonder's joints. It'll be a medium miracle if it even works ... but it's the only thing she can think of to try and bypass that barrier. The second arrow strike from Strimula draws the Zonder's attention back to her, luckily for Xiaomu since it was starting to zero in on her location. The machine doesn't seem to register the dark clouds Rainbow Dash is gathering overhead, either. The two dragon-like heads bend down, glowing crimson orbs scanning the building to try and pinpoint the source of those arrows. Then the barrier around its rear leg is hit like, well, the fist of an angry god. Kotal Kahn's impact causes the barrier to flex inward, waves of power resisting the massive strike, but, only for an instant. The sheer force of the blow breaks through the barrier and slams into the right rear leg of the Zonder Robo, shattering it and causing it to explode. The titanic machine topples, then begins to fall towards the very building Stimula has chosen as a shelter! Rainbow_Dash, if nothing else, sees everything that goes on when she's in the air; before she can zap the thing with her lightning bolts, it's leg is shattered by Kahn and Strimis is about to gte flattened! "Gah!" The blue pegasus abandons her plan and speed down like a lightning bolt herself to try and get Strimia out of harm's way! S. V. Strimla summons another arrow onto her bow as the thing starts to turn towards her. . o O ( Courage weakens it, so face it down... ) she thinks, pulling back and letting another arrow fly at the thing. There's a fine line between courage and stupidity, though, and when it starts tumbling down in her direction, she wisely makes a run for it! "Crapcrapcrapcrap!" Seeing Ranbow Dash in time, though, she grabs hold of the speedy pegasus' leg as she makes her pass. "Thanks, I owe you one! Or does this make us even for Ooo?" "Hmm.." Huitzilopotchli's lips purse thoughtfully as his cosmic energy coated strike slams into the creature's leg and seemingly penetrates through its shield to destroy one of its legs. Kotal Kahn may be a god but he's not ominpotent outside of his temple. Therefore, he has no idea that he just sent the giant robot careening towards Strimla. In fact, he seems to be mostly dissapointed that the thing went down in one blow! Kotal crosses his arms and stares at the Zonder collapsing. He can be an uncaring deity sometimes as he's someone that prefers people to help themselves. If this giant robot falls on top of someone that's their fault for not getting out of the way! Besides he still has the defense totem up for people in the area.. so.. maybe they won't think he's a total jerk! They'd be wrong though. He kinna is. A pair of massive arms suddenly shoot up to stop the titanic Zonder beast from crushing the building Strimula was in, the concrete caving beneath the combined weight of Defensor and the Zonder Robo. "Defensor... will not all you to harm... more... innocents!" The massive Protectron combiner growls, servos whirring as he steps forwards with a ground-shuddering stride, attempting to drive the toppling saurian robot backwards. And out of no where, another set of arms wrap around the toppling machine from behind, attempting to help the Defensor pull it away from squashing anything....specifically a pair of giant, green arms that are streaching like they belong to a Streach Armstrong doll, or something of that like. The ice really didn't help much, did it? Then again, thinks Xiaomu, that was further away than she usually tries to use Suiren's ice magic ... she's basically out of options now. No grenades, bullets are useless ... And then she has a thought which would best be summed up by Will Smith in the words of, 'Aw *hell* naw.' "Optimus!!" the sage fox calls out, moving to the corner of her building. "Gonna need a boost here, but if you can get me onto the Zonder Robo, I *may* be able to screw with it just a little!" Optimus_Prime lifts his head up as Xiaomu calls that out, "Affirmative!" There's a loud *TSHE-CHU-CHU* as the Autobot transforms back into his alt-mode, revving his engine as he peels out down the street, passing just under where Xiaomu is standing and popping open a panel in the top of his cab. "JUMP! And buckle up!" That wasn't what Xiaomu had in mind, but she jumps anyway, sliding through the opened panel - and buckling in just as instructed. "Ready!" Bizzarely, the leg that Kotal Kahn shattered almost immediately begins to regenerate itself, wires whipping out from the smoking stump and binding together as the remaining metal recombines and reshapes itself into an exact match to the damaged limb. The Zonder Robo starts to rise up again, its two dragon-like heads whipping out and downwards in an attempt to wrap around Defensor's arms like coiled metal serpents while the massive clawed arms of the robot attempt to pry the green, tendril-like limbs off from around its main body. "ZOOOOOONDEEEEEER!" Kotal's pursed lips turn into a vicious grin when he sees the Zonder come back to life. "Yes!! Honor me with Kombat!!" Cackles the God of War, equally amused at the efforts his allies make to control the beast. "Press the attack!" He calls as he dismisses his defense totem and trades it for a more aggressive totem. "Recieve the blessing of Huitziloptochli! THE SEARING BLADE!!!" Another totem emerges from the ground, this one glowing with green power. Suddenly, the Densor's arms, the green stretchy arms holding the Zonder, Xiaomu, Optimus, Rainbow Dash and Strimlia. All will feel the power of Kotal Kahn flowing through them, giving them the gift of divine strength. At least.. for as long as the totem remains channeling power. Following the giant, green arms to thier source would reveal that the arms are growing smaller and smaller toward the source until they finally attach to a rather short sized Namekian warrior in a sedge hat and cape. "What's the matter big guy? Are you feeling a little wrapped up? He tries to tighten his grasp and scratch some at the bot's body. However, the bot's likely succeeding at prying the arms away...especailly as the Namek basically uses them to rubberband his small, little self at the Zonder's back. S. V. Strimla drops to the ground when clear and rolls with it. When she comes back to her feet, she immediately sets them and pulls back to summon another steel rod of an arrow before letting loose once again! There's not much she honestly thinks she can do... But she's still taking the mention of courage weakening it seriously, so she's not letting up! Optimus_Prime floors it, driving straight ahead and past the edge of the block before slamming on his brakes and wheeling his chassis around so that he's facing Defensor's back. "Defensor! Prepare for operation Air Grab!" Defensor digs his fingers into the serpent-like necks wrapping around his arms as he kneels. "Affirmative, Optimus!" With a loud *ch-chang* the long fire ladder at the combiner's back lengthens and hits the ground, angled to aim directly at the massive Zonder's head. There's a low, rolling rev from within Prime's engine block. "Hold on tight, we're going to roll for it!" There's a loud squeal as Optimus revs his engine to full power, flames exploding from his smokestacks as he charges towards Defensor's fire ladder at full speed! Rainbow_Dash says, "I'd say...we're maybe even!" to Strimla, then the mecha-thing gets back up! "Whoops! back to work!" She shooots back into the sky to her cloud! She then begins to kick the cloud! "Shazam!" a bolt of Lightning shoots down from the cloud to the beast below, "Shazam! Shazam!: she yells out, kicking and feeling more powerful then usual for some reason! Boom! Boom! Boom!" Whoever Kotal's god is, Xiaomu decides, she's got no beef with him - particularly if you don't HAVE to be one of his worshippers, just allies with one, to get buffs like these. But all the offensive buffs in the pantheon aren't much good until the sage fox is in a position to go on the offense again. "Ready!" she calls out to Optimus, one hand bracing herself within the cab, her other hand clinging to her staff so it doesn't fly around inside while Optimus is pulling the mother of all ramp jumps ... This time, Strimla's arrow strikes true, piercing through the barrier and slamming into one of the orb-like mechanical eyes of one of the Zonder's dragon heads. The serpent like appendage flails from the impact, sparks and electricity flying from its damaged optic as it releases its grip on Defensor's arm, lashing and twisting about in the air even as Rainbow Dash stands poised to unleash the lightning. Whatever sudden burst of energy is coursing through his circuits right now, Prime is thankful for it as he slams with his right wheels onto Defensor's fire ladder and climbs straight up to explode off the top of the combiner's back, soaring in his truck mode directly over the fellow Autobot's head. *TSCHE-CHU-CHU-TSCHE* Optimus transforms into his robot form in mid-air, Xiaomu being ejected from the front of his cab as the roof and windshields flip down. Not worry, though, Optimus easily catches her with his left hand while simultaneously drawing his ion cannon from its sheath with his right. *KA-CHACK* He levels the cannon at the Zonder's face and opens fire, then again, and again, and again, aiming to blow holes straight through the Zonder's skull to open a path for himself and Xiaomu to drop through. What's this? A worshiper of Tlaloc here? Kotal looks up to the sky once he notices the cloud gathering to conjure rays of lightning upon this mechanical foe. As one who draws his power mostly from the sun, this causes Kotal Kahn to frown, not wishing to dedicate this battle towards his rival god Raiden. Not to be outdone, Kotal channels power up to the heavens and the sun above glows bright. "Up the stair path, to the fire's edge." He chants as the sun's rays become hotter and hotter. "I call upon the sun.." "BURN MY FOES!!" Using the sun itself as his personal magnifying glass. A massive blast comes down from the skies like an orbital cannon, crashing down upon the Zonder to scorch him with all the power of the sun. Allies caught in the blast need not worry. The ray of sun has the completely opposite effect to those that currently have the blessing of Huitzilopotchli. Instead of burning them, the sun actually heals any wound they have sustained! S. V. Strimla blinks in surprise at the success of her arrow's penetration... Then smirks slightly and lets another arrow fly. "The barrier is down!" she calls out as she nocks another to let that fly as well. As she speeds up her shots, their accuracy progressively gets a little worse. Sure, there's lightning bolts and giant rays of sunlight coming down, not to mention the massive gunfire from the other robots... But why should she stop now? Xiaomu alights in Optimus's hand, twirling her staff briefly, then pointing it down at the Zonder, her left arm wrapped around one of Optimus's fingers to make sure she doesn't fly loose somehow. She's not bringing ice magic to bear this time, though. "Sage Fox Sorcery: Demon Gate Seal!" she shouts, trying to project her will across the now-dwindling distance .... The Zonder as a whole is WAY too big for her to affect with her immobilizing seal, and she knows it. She's not trying. But Xiaomu has also seen the series that this giant robo-monster is 'from'; she knows what Zonder Metal is, and she knows that somewhere inside the robot - probably behind a stylized Z emblem - is the core which drives it. Technically, the Zonder itself *is* the core, with the Zonder Robo just an assemblage of assimilated machinery and material. So if she can lock down the core with her Demon Gate Seal ... it may not take the Zonder Robo out (and she sorta hopes it doesn't), but she should at least be able to MASSIVELY screw with its ability to keep wreaking havoc. Caracol now stands firmly planted on the Zonder's back, Now...what to do from here? The Namek doesn't know anything about this kind of enemy, so he sets to looking about for anything that sticks out to him as a possible weak spot. One thing about Zonder Robo's is they tend not to be too bright or creative most of the time. This one seems to be at the limit of what it can deal with between Defensor ripping away at one of its dragon necks, beams of god-like sunlight burning at its back, Optimus Prime blasting its face off, lightning slamming into it above and arrows pelting its eyes and other vulnerable areas all while its got some kind of Anti-Demon Seal slamming into its. "ZOOOOOOON~DEEEEEEEER!" The titanic machine literally starts to disintegrate, collapsing piece by piece as it rapidly begins to convert into a titanic pile of scrap metal. A glowing, spike core with a prominent 'Z' rapidly being revealed at the center of its body as the chassis disintegrates. Rainbow_Dash swoops down! "Oh yeah! That had to hurt! Everybody okay?" she looks around, before getting closer to the cre that's being revealed. "Huh...is there...somebody in there?" "Yeah, somebody is," Xiaomu calls out to Rainbow Dash, keeping the Demon Gate Seal going. "There's ... oh, a couple of people in GaoGaiGar - the series - who can Purify Zonders, turn them back to the people they were before the Zonder Metal got stuck to them." She pauses for a moment. "... who can undo the 'curse' that turned them into mechanoid monsters," Xiaomu restates. Rainbow_Dash says, "So...this was..is..cursed people?" She blinks, "Hope We didn;t do anything that can't be undone....." "Fatality.." Kotal says approvingly as the Zonder is obliterated by the kombination of attacks. Satisfied with the battle, the Aztec deity simply watches from the distance as the others gather to discern the nature of this attack. S. V. Strimla is about to let another arrow into that core when Rainbow Dash asks if someone is in it. Instead, she just holds her arrow there, nocked and ready to let loose while she says, "I'm fine, Dash, thanks for the save." She glances to Xiaomu as she explains the situation. "....Can it reform again if we do nothing, then? Or did we eliminate it as a threat for now, at least?" she asks, putting her eyes back on the possible threat and not relaxing her hold on the bow. Caracol flies upward as the Zonder starts ceasing to exist. Another fight successfully unfought! Was kinda too late to use his brain for anything though....ah well. Optimus_Prime's optics narrow as he's lowered to the ground by Defensor's massive hand, lowering Xiaomu as well. "Are any of those people here?" The Autobot Supreme Commander asks in a troubled tone as he gazes at the strange core. "...for something to be able to convert an organic human into such a monster." There's a slow shake of Prime's head, "If we have no way to purify it we have no choice but to contain it until we can." Rainbow_Dash floats ckoser and taps at the core with a hoof. "Hello...anybody in there? You can come out....we won't smaxk you around or anything.... Xiaomu replies to Dash, "Long as the Core is intact and contained? Mamoru or Kaido can Purify it. Leave it alone too long, though, and it'll recover enough to start trying to assimilate stuff again - 'stuff' largely meaning machinery and inorganic materials," she adds, looking up at Optimus Prime. "I don't recommend keeping it in an Autobot ship or facility. Zonders can potentially assimilate *people* too, converting them into additional mechanoids, but that ... I dunno what it takes them. Optimus_Prime's eyes remain narrowed, "It seems we have little choice, then." Caracol drops in on the others. "...how to contain something like that?" Rainbow_Dash says, "So...what's the purification thing....is it magical...?" S. V. Strimla nods silently. She's paying attention, but right now she's more worried it might start up again. Xiaomu grits her teeth a bit, putting more of her focus into the sealing ward. If she had a fresh start and more time to prepare the right sorts of incantations, MAYBE she could try purifying the Zonder Core herself - but without a G-Stone, it would be iffy as hell at best. .... oh yeah, people are still asking questions. She ought to answer, if she can split her attention enough. "... More extraterrestrial than magical," she answers. "Latio and ... can't remember the other kid's alien name ... they had unique gifts to combat the Zonder." Rainbow_Dash says, "I was wondering if our elements might help...we've kind of done that sort of thing back home...." Optimus_Prime reaches his hands up and opens his chest compartment, the inner shield over his spark chamber opening up to reveal a second, hidden cavity from where gleams a brilliant, scintilating matrix of pure crystal housed within a spherical container with two handles on either side. Rainbow_Dash says, "Whoa......" Caracol says, "If I had any magi of my kind handy I'd know of a way to help with containment but....unfortunately I don't..." Xiaomu glances up at Optimus Prime ... and the Matrix. ".... *MIGHT* work," she concedes. "Just don't let it all loose - a trickle could be enough or too much, and you wanna save that." She looks at Rainbow Dash as well, "How fast can you get the others together? I'd ... kinda trust that before risking the Matrix." S. V. Strimla glances over and does a double take as she spots Optimus just pulling a big glowing magical looking thing from his chest. She then looks to Rainbow Dash with a frown. "...Can you do that with only the four of you?" "Under the current circumstances we may not have a choice." Optimus Prime says in a low voice, "You can't keep that seal up forever." Rainbow_Dash says, "We're not all here...I can bring out my amulet....Twilight and Fluteershy are here...and Pinkie....but it'll take tim eto round 'em up. Maybe If I try mine with Optimus?" Rainbow_Dash closes her eyes, shimmers, her mane and tail extending anf flowing; her amulet appearing at her chest..."I can try!" Optimus_Prime nods his head once to Rainbow Dash, "We'll support you as best we can." The Matrix retracts back into his chest, his Spark Core sliding into place over it followed by the plates of his chassis. S. V. Strimla blinks and watches, finally taking her eyes off the core. She's never actually seen Rainbow Dash's amulet. Caracol says, "...too bad this kind of stuff can't be treated like a spirit bomb...." 'Can't keep that seal up forever' is an understatement, really; Xiaomu's hitting her limit even as they talk about it. "Give you what I can," the sage fox states, nodding to the rainbow-maned pegasus. "Dropping the ward ... *now*!" The 'magic circle' winks out, the bubble of power which surrounded the Zonder Core vanishing a split second later, and Xiaomu takes a few deep breaths before starting to chant a Buddhist sutra of purification, holding her staff in front of her as she faces the Core, adding her magic to whatever the others will be using ... Rainbow_Dash says, "Here goes....." she let's loose with the light from her amulet and let's her feeling of loyalty flow into the object; putting everything she has into it, she tries to draw the living beings back to themselves..." Defensor radiates good thoughts and his love for all Earth's creatures. Really, he's a softie like that. It scares some of the other Autobots, sometimes. Optimus_Prime offers his own steadfast loyalty and strength in the situation, helping the others focus their energies on returning the suffering human back to its former self. Caracol isn't really sure of some sort of magicy way to exude happy, friendly, pure type thoughts, so he kinda stands there trying to be the most him he can be. S. V. Strimla takes a grip on the yin-yang gem over the middle of her chest, trying to send some of her own steely determination to Rainbow Dash's efforts. The gem... actually glows as she does this! The Zonder Core seems to resist at first, then, slowly, it starts to morph. It's form begins to fold back on itself as it begins to morph. It reshapes itself like putty, first into a red-eyed, beast-like mechanical creature with squared off metallic 'fur' and then, slowly, inexorably it changes back into a kneeling, sobbing human boy desperately clutching a bunch of Godzilla and Transformers comics to his small chest. Rainbow_Dash powers down..."Whoa...haven't done that in a while...." she trots over to the kid, 'Hey, you'll be okay now! It's alright!" The boy just sobs and wraps his arms around Rainbow Dash's neck. ;_; S. V. Strimla lets out a breath of releif and lowers her bow entirely before shoving it behind her back... where it just vanishes. Xiaomu nearly collapses in a heap as the improvised Purification is completed. A quickly two-handed grip on her staff helps keep her from actually falling down, although she's still somewhere on the edge of Mind Down status. "It's okay ... Zonders feed on the host's stress," she pants, explaining to the others. "Purify the Zonder, remove the stress, but ... emotions don't do the 'vacuum' thing any better'n Nature does." She manages a crooked but friendly grin, and a thumbs-up, to the boy. Caracol blinks a little. "Isn't that you on one of those books," he wonders up toward Optimus. Optimus_Prime narrows his optics once again, "To harm even the children of humans..." He turns to look at Xiaomu, then flips open his commlink again, "Wheeljack. I want all the information you can gather on these 'Zonder' regardless of what resources you have to access." Rainbow_Dash hugs and comforts the kid. "You're okay, you're okay, hey; check it out! Optimus Prime himself just helped free you! Thta's pretty awesome! Xiaomu looks up at Optimus again, "Search for 'King of Braves GaoGaiGar,' don't be surprised if the robots look like your cousins." Xiaomu says, "... they kinda are." The boy sniffs and looks up at Rainbow Dash, then looks over and up at Optimus Prime. There's a slow widening of his eyes, then he smiles even through those tears. Caracol nods in agreement with Rainbow Dash. "That guy from your book, there, isn't that cool?" "Interesting...I'll have to see if Teletraan-1 has any information from Vector Sigma on them." Optimus Prime turns his head towards the little boy and slowly raises a hand, closing it into a thumbs up. Rainbow_Dash says, "You'll totally have something awesome to tell your friends..I bet Prime here would even sign your book for you," she grins." "I'll... have to use one of Roller's manipulators to do it, but, I'd be proud to." Optimus replies with a nod. S. V. Strimla leans back against one of the few standing walls in the area with a tired smile. "Well, I think today was a job well done!" She assumes the boy is more of a giant robot fan than a magical girl fan. Not only does he have the comics with him, but most boys aren't the fans of the genrea that Souta is. She does look off to the east. "...But I probably should make my exit..." Caracol says, "...that lady over there said that you were stressed out though...is everything going to be ok for you?" The boy sniffs and nods a little, "Th-They said they were out of #4 of the comic I wanted, but, they said that last week and the week before!" Rainbow_Dash says, "What comic is it you're after? Must be a good one....." Xiaomu raises her eyebrows at that. "Which series are you collecting that they didn't have that issue?" The boy blushes and lowers his eyes, "O-Optimus Prime Issue #4."
