The doors open, and a somewhat tired looking red-haired young lady steps in who is, judging from the skirt and too many ribbons and bows in her outfit, quite likely a magical girl. Those who have paid attention in the papers might even recognize her from a few incidents where she fought off monsters, the one and only Steel Valkyrie Strimla! But right now she looks like she's barely moving. "Urg. I swear, that thing had some sort of energy draining aura or something," she mumbles.

Sitting at one of the tables is a pair of girls. One has fire red hair and looks to be a young teenager. The other looks just a hair younger, but her hair is purple fading to red on the ends. They have a large plate of gravy cheese fries in front of them, and are also bickering about something. "No," the redhead says. "He's not exhibiting any, so he's not like her at all!" The purple haired one rolls her eyes. "It evolves with time! You know that as much as I do!"

Miyu rubs her eyes as she wanders in after Strimla. She's already in her normal appearance, cause her magical form is a HUUUUUUGE drain. Thus she just looks like a little girl who's dressed somewhere just off of being in a boring school uniform.

Belldandy slips in with a polite bow. "Good evening everyone," she smiles, clasping her hands in front of her.

S. V. Strimla walks by the table with the two girls and glances at the gravy cheese fries, considering if she should order that mentally when she brushes a bit of her bangs out her eyes... and then glances over her shoulder with a wince. "Urrrg. I'm more tired than I thought." She sighs and glances back to Miyu. "You didn't say anything about me staying transformed?" She sighs again. "Well, too late now," she mumbles as she looks about again.

The girls at the table look around at all the newcomers. There's the one girl that wears a uniform like they do for school, and then... The redhead and purple haired girls see Strimla, look at each other, then just stare back at her, kind of murmuring to each other in what sounds like Russian.

Miyu rubs her eyes again, looking like she's fighting sleeping WHILE she walks. "I didn't know I had to say anything...." she murmurs grogily. She then blinks as she peers behind her at the familiar voice. "Hello Belldandy-sama," she replies, "It's good to see you....this is my neighbor, Belldandy-sama, Strimla-san..."

Belldandy smiles gently and slips into a seat nearby; ordering some rose tea. The flower on the table is wilting in its vase, she quietly whispers something to it...and it rises back up, in full bloom. "Hello, Miss Miyu, how are you? It's a pleasure to meet you both," she nods her head in a polite greeting.

S. V. Strimla offers a tired wave to Belldandy. "Nice to meet you, too. But I think I need a good cup of coffee in me before I can really understand my surroundings." Part of those surroundings she hasn't registered yet was the staring eyes of the sisters... that or she's gotten used to the occasional stare. As she approaches the bar, the bartender has already gotten a cup of coffee for her. Apparently either she was overheard, or her tiredness was that obvious to them. She takes a sip of the coffee before she does a spit-take. "Wait, the goddess?!"

Belldandy says, "Oh dear..well, yes, but please don't make a fuss......"

Miyu nods before she, unlike Strimla, she has to order her coffee. Being 11, it's kind of a shock she'd drink it for most people.

The young sisters freeze when they hear the word goddess, then relax when they realize they were talking about Belldandy. They have heard of her because of their aunt, but still. They then start elbowing each other with alternating "You ask her!" "No, YOU ask her!"

Belldandy says, "there's no need to worry...what is it you'd like to ask me, ne?"

S. V. Strimla wipes her mouth of coffee dribble. "Sorry, sorry, sorry. I've just never run into an actual deity before. Sure, people who thought they were deities, but, eh." At least she's more awake now!

The girls mutter amongst themselves, and there seems to be some random pointing before they seem to come to a consensus. The redhead goes up to Strimla. "Hi! My sister and I were wondering where you go to school to wear that kind of uniform and how can we apply for entry.". The purple haired one goes to Belldandy. "Hi! My sister and I were wondering exactly what you were a goddess of. I mean, we have some experiences with deities and it hasn't been... good. So we were looking to see if there's a difference, if that makes sense."

S. V. Strimla blinks and looks absolutely confused before she looks down at her coffee, then looks back up to her fellow redhead. "....I, uh, don't go to school?" She pauses, then looks to Miyu. "Why does everyone assume I should be in school? I swear, I'd be so freaking behind everyone my age if I tried, anyway..."

Belldandy says, "Please, don't allow my presence to cause you concern," she smiles, 'I'm afraid I haven't been out as much as I should lately." She looks to the purple haired girl, "I'm Belldandy, Goddess first class unlimited; my job is granting wishes. I do hope you're encounter with me will be pleasant," she says softly, with a pleasant smile."

The redhead tilts her head a bit. "Because your outfit looks like some school uniforms, but more badass and armored and awesome!". The purple haired girl turns her head and glares at her sister. "Lishraaaaa! You're not allowed to say that!" she shakes her head and turns back to Belldandy. "I'm Aerial Karrde, and that's my sister Lishra. One of our grandmothers was a totem goddess... and she wasn't a good one, so we're kind of wary about that. But you seem nice so far." the twelve-year old smiles.

Belldandy smiles, "Well, I shall be sure and remain nice to the best of my abilities," she says kindly, 'It's a pleasure to meet you both.

Miyu shrugs slightly. "Maybe it's something about the multiverse," she replies, "It's not like the only school I went to."

S. V. Strimla looks down at her short skirt and midriff bearing top. "There really are school uniforms that look like this?!" She pauses, then amends, "...are you considering the amount of skin this shows to be the 'badass and awesome' part?" She sighs again and takes a long swig of the coffee. "Urg... Needs cream and sugar..." She still takes another long swig anyway before she looks back over to Belldandy, something she said now registering with her. "...you grant wishes?"

Belldandy says, "That is my job yes," she nods, "When someone on Earth is worthy and calls the Goddess hotline, it's my job to come down and grant the wish; of course, I'm afraid I haven't been on call lately, though sometimes I am allowed to engage at my own discretion."

Lishra Karrde shakes her head. "No, but the design of it being armored. I said it resembled. Though I figured you were in high school at least." she shrugs. Aerial smiles at Belldandy. "You do seem nice, so no, I'm not worried anymore..." she tilts her head a little like her sister did. "Goddess hotline?

Belldandy nods to the girl, "Yes..when a deserving mortal is in need, the number to the hotline will come to them...they then are sent a Goddess, such as myself, to grant the wish.

S. V. Strimla nods with a slight frown. "Oh, I see. So it's kind of a... destiny kind of divine intervention thing. Ah, well." Like just about anyone, Strimla of course has things she'd wish for. She'll let that subject drop now, however, as she looks back to Lishra. "Well, this 'uniform' is more like for my part-time job as a magic knight. Believe me, if I had a say in it, it'd be different... but I've gotten used to it long ago."

Miyu shakes her head, having snoozed off a little, waking up just in time to get her own coffee...dark, no cream and sugar. Seriously, is she TRYING to be too adult? She drinks carefully and peers at the others. "I wonder how many off of work wish granters there are around here."

Aerial wrinkles her nose at that, and if you've ever met her mother or aunt, you've seen that before. "Lishraaaa, you don't think there's anyway Evil Grandma could use that is there?" Lishra shakes her head. "No... Uncle Skeeve sent her to an elder god dimension. I'm sure if she hasn't taken it over by now she's at least made Cthulu her.." she stops herself for a moment before she says the b-word. "Wench.". The redhead looks back to Strimla. "Magic knight?"

Belldandy says, "I hope your Grandmother can perhaps find redemption...."

S. V. Strimla deadpans to Miyu after taking another sip of her coffee. "Knowing this city? I'd guess another four." She slumps ever so slightly as Lishra seems to not understand the label of 'magic knight'. "....Most people just call me a 'Magical Girl,'" she admits, clearly not fond of the term.

Belldandy says, "There is nothing wrong with being magical, or a girl, why does this seem to disturb you?"

S. V. Strimla sighs and deadpans, "It's a long story. In the end, I just prefer the term 'Magic Knight' more."

Belldandy says, "Hm....oh, I see...." she nods knowingly.

Miyu says, "I know there are two here right now...so six altogether? ...that's one less than 7....Magical Knight DOES seem better fitting for you AND your partner La Pucell."

S. V. Strimla looks at Belldandy and hangs her head with a sigh. Being a goddess, Strimla is assuming Belldandy already knows the reason behind her dislike of the term. "Well, I would have included your two others in my guess, but... it was actually a joke, so... ugh. Nevermind."

Belldandy says, "You shouldn't let it disturb you so, it's actually a great gift on many levels."

Miyu says, "It's deffinetly a good disguise if nothing else. I don't see any problem with it..."

S. V. Strimla glances between the two again. "Look, I've accepted it long ago, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer things slightly different. At this point the term 'Magical Girl' is just a pet peeve, really."

Belldandy closes her eyes, "Accepting does not mean embracing. You are Yin and Yang, the very essence of life combined; it's a sacred state, rare and powerful and it comes with the gift of being able to defend and protect. You should embrace who you are, and when you find that joy, you're skills and abilities will become even greater.

Lishra Karrde hms at that. "Well, I'm a girl, and I have magic, so is that the same thing or..? I'm confused.

Miyu says, "...I don't even make a good magical girl...and I'm one of the most fitting for both words..."

Belldandy says, "I believe a magical girl is a sacred state."

S. V. Strimla shakes her head at Lishra. "It's something different... involving transformations and such. I've known plenty of female spellcasters in my home world, but none of them ever got referred to as a 'magical girl' as far as I know..." She then pauses to consider what Belldandy says. She of course agrees with pretty much everything Belldandy says, but... is she really not embracing it? She doesn't just transform to fight, afterall, since it's useful for the other spells she can cast in this form. She's even gotten used to the whole... gender changing thing, or at least she thinks so.

Belldandy says, "You get to see the world through two sets of eyes; therefore you can understand better the human condition. I understand it causes you inner conflict, but, if you were to truly accept your gift; I belive you would feel unfettered joy."

Miyu finishes the last of her coffee and lets out a little yawn. "Well...it's almost helping....Belldandy-sama, if it's not much trouble, when you go home, can you walk me home too?"

Belldandy says, "I would be heppy to, Miyu-san."

S. V. Strimla pauses for another moment before hanging her head again with a sigh, then covers her mouth for a yawn. "Well... I can't argue your points. 'Unfettered joy,' though?" After another breif pause, she shrugs. "Well, you're the goddess. I'll have to take your world for it.... I doubt it's just as easy as making up my mind to do it, though..." . o O ( What, should I go out and about as Strimla but not in the armor? )

Miyu says, "How often have you and La Pucelle talked about....things?"

Belldandy rises up, bowing, she smiles. "You must look at it as two hands, both the same but opposite, both one form but different. She then claps her own hands together as an example. "You need to find your balance; then you'll see what I'm saying."

S. V. Strimla raises an eyebrow before she gets it. "We've not, really. We tend to more talk tactics, techniques, and the like... Not the wierd way we transform." She glances over at Belldandy again. "I... yeah, I guess so. But... Balance? How? This Steel Valkyrie form is... it's made for battle."

Miyu nods a little. "I thought maybe you'd both have some thoughts about it that the other hadn't."

Belldandy says, "Again, you are Yin and Yang, you must not only accept your gift, but embrace it. Tnen you'll find your balance. I feel you keep your...transformation a secret even from those you know and trust...this distancing also affects how you perceive yourself...and I'm afraid it may also limit your potential."

Miyu says, "...I wish I knew more to offer, but...of course I don't really know anything about this sort of thing."

S. V. Strimla sits on a chair and looks into her now empty mug as she ponders this. "...embrace it," she says with a bit of a distant sound. "Well... I guess I have some shopping to do, don't I?"

Belldandy smiles, 'That's the spirit,' she says, bowing again, "If you'll please excuse me, I have to get back home..." she looks to Miyu, "If you're ready, I'll be hapy to escort you.

Miyu nods in reply before getting up and blushing slightly as she reaches to grasp at Belldandy's hand or sleeve. It's dark out there in the multiverse right now, and she's sleepy to boot.

Miyu says, "Good night Strimla-san...take care...."
