It's still early evening, and while the sun hangs low, it's still bright in the sky! The main dinner rush has ended, and this predicts the flying form of Steel Valkyrie Strimla overhead. Steel feathered wings hold her aloft in the sky as she relishes the feeling of the wind in her hair. Her eyes closed for a moment, she continues her way towards the west, towards home.

High on rooftop, out of sight from much of the public below. Oshiro is training. Her body has for the most part healed after her last witch adventure. If only her soul could heal like her body. Several magical blasts go off as the girl moves around, attacking weird pink dopplegangers that burst into sakura flowers when destroyed. She's definitely a good fighter, she is just training.

S. V. Strimla opens her eyes in time to witness several of the blasts. "...What the..." She lowers her brow as she gets a better look at just what's going on. "Huh... She kinda looks like a..." Without finishing that verbal thought, she folds her wings up some to start diving for the rooftop. "Coming down! Peace!" she calls ahead of herself before she spreads her wings again at the last second, arresting her drop in time to make a much more controlled landing... but it's still a superhero landing, her fist down on the top of the roof.

Oshiro looks up as someone calls out. As the wingged girl touches down, she winces a little. "Thats gotta be murder on the knees." She snaps her finger. The rest of her dopplegangers poof into sakura petals. "Nice to meet you." Oshiro states as she steps a little closer. Her mind wonders a little, Is this another magical girl? She doesn't look like one of Kyubey's contracts. She can fly?! Thats so not fair! She may accidentally be sending these things out psychically.

S. V. Strimla stands up, wobbling her knees slightly in a way that suggests she's still in complete control of them. "Yeah... a little, actually. Still not quite used to landings, to be honest, sometimes I judge that last bit of slowdown a bit off, ya know?" She blinks, then shakes her head. "Or not... I think I'm the only one of us that can, you know, fly..." She then clears her throat, offering an extended hand with a slightly cautious look. "Steel Valkyrie Strimla," she says. "Pardon me, but I'm starting to get an eye for these things... I think... but are you a Magical Girl?" Strimla looks the part herself, what with the bows, ribbons, skirt, and high boots.

Oshiro smiles a litle, "Yes, for now." Odd thing to say really. "You don't look like any Magical Girl I've encountered. Not that I've encountered any since I've arrived in Neo Tokyo. My name is Oshiro Rio. I am a Puella Magi. Basically I made a contract with a creature in exchange for becoming a Magical girl." She definitely doesn't look super thrilled likem ost would over the whole thing. her look is much more toned down. Lots of Violet and white. The only bow is around her neck. Still she is wearing a short skirt and a rather cute top. Its more functional then flashy.

S. V. Strimla pauses a moment before letting the extended hand fall to her side, then lifts them up to behind her head... just as her steel feathered wings start to evaporate away. Apparently they're a temporary thing. "Right, well, uh..." she stumbles slightly over her words before finding herself again. "You've not run into any of the rest of us? There's a few of us around. Sunlight Ranger White, La Pucelle, and... uh... Miyu... We kinda team up from time to time," she says. For some reason she was more at ease when she first came across the Sunlight Ranger. "As for me... I found Gnistra in a cave," she suddenly pulls a rather large two-handed sword from out of nowhere behind her back, "And things kinda went from there." She then snaps the fingers on her free hand. "Oh! I almost forgot Magical Lyrical Nanoha... but she's not really with the team we have going, she's just... around. Sometimes." Okay, now she sounds like she might be just rambling at this point.

Oshiro does shake hands. She just forgot to mention it >.< Quietly she listens to the now wingless girl. She gives a little smile. "Thats cool. I didn't know there were any more magical girls. Its cool you have each other's back. I dare say I'm envious." She blushes a little. "Sadly If I were part of a group I wouldn't last very long." She seems a little frustrated concerning that.

S. V. Strimla frowns at that, then looks a bit confused as well as concerned. "Uhhh... do you mind if I ask... why you wouldn't last as part of a group?" ...There went the next few lines she was planning to say... If this Oshiro Rio is dismissing the possible idea that quickly...

Oshiro takes a deep breath. "My soul's been poisoned." SHe frowns and holdso ut her hand. In a quick purple flash, her soulgem appears in her hand. Its slightly murky from the magic she was using More immediately, there is a streak of black going through it. "When this turns completely black, I will become a very nasty threat to a lot of people. The only way to prevent that involves me being killed. So Its a rather nasty situation.

S. V. Strimla blinks and peers at the gem, then back up to Oshiro's face. "Oh, uh... You.. have my condolences..." It's like she both knows far too much and nowhere near enough about this girl in front of her at the same time. Her awkwardness at the situation is clear on her face as she averts her gaze entirely. "That... that's horrible. I wish there was something I could do about that..."

Oshiro smiles, "Hey its cool! I've spent two years helping people and saving lives. Thats not something to thumb ones nose at right?" She sighs. "OKay let me start from the beginning. A white creature. An alien. Approached me one day. He said that I had potential. That If I would enter a contract with him, I would be a magical girl. I'd get a single wish." She smiles, "I hesitated for a few days. I didn't know what to wish for. Then... something happened to my parents. They were taken by some nasty types. I couldn't find them. So.. I wished to know where they were. I was made into a Magical Girl."

S. V. Strimla takes a seat on an HVAC unit, still looking a bit concerned. "So... is... that what marked your soul like that?" She glances around a moment before suggesting, "Maybe nothing could be done about it on your world... but maybe here, someone might have a way to fix things?" Clearly Strimla doesn't have any clues, though.

Oshiro shakes her head, "Nope. That was a witch. Its something I've never even heard of happening before. This witch I was fighting last night firedsomething at me. It was like a gun. I got hit in the shoulder and the poison started spreading. It infected my soul and It can't be cleansed. I was told that It caused a curse to start forming in it." She sighs. Looking down for a moment her gaze goes back to Strimla. "A friend of mine is trying to find a solution. Umm, Twilight Sparkle? Maybe you met her?"

S. V. Strimla blinks, then nods profusely. "Yeah! I know here. I'm good friends with some of her friends... Don't know her as well so much, but she really knows what she's doing with magic stuff." She grips her right hand into a fist as her left hand puts Gnistra, the greatsword, back behind her back to vanish once again. "She should have an idea of what direction to take! Hopefully she'll get something together to clear your soul again!" Her expression softens again as she smiles at Oshiro again. "And then maybe you can join a team, yeah?"

Oshiro smiles softly. There is a little bit of

Oshiro smiles softly. There is a little bit of hope there. "I can't make any long term promises. According to the alien jerk I have maybe a month before The curse overtakes my wish and I become something very nasty. Until that happens, I will agree to join your team and help out where I can. I do have experience as a Magical girl and fighting the good fight.I will just ask one thing. If I turn... Don't hesitate. Take me out."

S. V. Strimla frowns at that... but then nods. She stands up again and pulls out her greatsword once more, this time taking to a combat stance. "You have my word as a Magic Knight that I will strike you down should you turn. I will what I can to make it fast... one clean strike." She sounds quite serious as she says that... in both her intent and her confidence in her ability to carry it out.

Oshiro smiles, "You will need a team. A Magical girl like me was born out of a wish. Witches, The creatures I have spent my life for the past 2 years hunting and killing, They are born out of curses. When a curse is born in a magical girl like me, it takes root and grows. When it comes to fruitation it will over take my wish and I will become a witch, meeting every good that I have done in my time as a Magical Girl with evil. I've been doing this a while and the idea of me becoming that sort of monster is terrifying. I've lost track of the witches I've taken out and the lives I've saved." She frowns and her body just trembles a little.

S. V. Strimla sighs and nods, putting Gnistra away. "I have a team," she says. "I'm not the most powerful of us, either..." She steps back over towards Oshiro and pauses a moment before reaching over to pat her shoulder. "But we'll just have to pray to the gods that Twilight Sparkle finds a way. Don't lose hope, okay?"

Oshiro nods slowly, "Thank you. I'm trying not to. Its just a lot to take in. I've been at this for so long. I have fought so hard. There was the risk of death. I knew it. Fighting witches... They are danerous. But I've survived so far. But now to find out, that I am going to become the monster I've come to hate. It is really a rough situation. Twilight is amazing. She will come up with a solution. I just hope she isn't too late. Witches don't return to being human sadly." She frowns over that.

S. V. Strimla nods somberly again. "Yeah. One doesn't go into battle if they fear death. Still... It's not a pleasant experience, so I like to try to avoid that particular outcome again." She offers a smirk, then walks over to sit down on the HVAC again. "But if I know Twilight, her assistant is probably having to force her to eat and sleep, or she'd be completely focussed on it to the point of screwing up from lack of those things." She glances to the side, then says, "Okay, so you've bared your soul to me. You wanna know what's probably the biggest secret I've got as a... Magical Girl?"

Oshiro smiles, "Shoot!" She stands up and stretches a little bit. She quickly makes her staff vanish. "By all means." She looks out across the city.

S. V. Strimla smirks as Oshiro looks away, then reaches up to her chest, where she twists the gem there. All around her, it's like shimmering metal as is seems her very skin shimmers like metal, then splits apart, flowing as ribbons back into the gem, which even itself then vanishes under his hand... as now sitting there isn't the same person at all, really. He clears his throat a bit before saying, "I'm actually a guy."

Oshiro smiles. A soft giggle escaps her for a brief moment and then she simply shrugs. "Interesting. Thats gotta be awkward." She stops and looks out across the city some more. "Don't worry. Your secret is safe. I'm not going to ask you any humiliating questions or anything." She snickers. "I do hope you handle things well going back and forth like that though."

Robin says in a slight sing-song voice, "Oh, you have no idea~!" He laughs once, shaking his head. "Sooooo much awkwardness has there been in my life. But yeah, I've gotten used to it pretty well by now. I've been making an effort lately to just get more used to... being female, so to speak. It was the idea of... A goddess." He blinks, then frowns, then jumps up to his feet again. "Wait a minute..." He starts pacing. "It couldn't be that simple... could it?"

Oshiro looks at Robin curiously, "Huh? As simple as what?" She asks curiously. Quietly she turns and looks at him. With a quick motion a staff appears in her hand. She leans against it and just smiles.

Robin mumbles to himself, "What was it she said... When someone deserving was in need? It... it would just..." He sighs and shakes his head. "Or did she say she wasn't on call? She said the number would just... come to the mortal in need, I think." He reaches up with his hands to the sides of his head and scruffles his own hair. "Gaaah! I don't remember that part of the conversation nearly as well!"

Miyu, in her magical girl uniform, is hopping along roof tops, using her magical platforms when the gap is too far for her to make in one go. Her wand, Sapphire, comments something about something not being here.

Oshiro looks at Robin curiously. "Umm okay?" She has no idea what in the world. "Do you need help remembering something?" She asks curiously. She does note the approaching of another person.

Robin tenses up slightly, then relaxes again with a sigh as he shakes his head. "How do I say this... I've run into, well, a goddess who said it's her job to grant wishes... but... I don't know how to go about it... if it's even possibly to do it while trying to do it. She made it sound like it ends up just... happening. I'm no cleric, I don't know how to... contact a deity."

Miyu drops onto the roof near Robin, looking some what tired out. The pre-teen magical girl starts to say something, but decides against it and offers both a bow for the moment.

Robin jumps back with a start as Miyu lands nearby. "Miyu! You know Belldandy, right?"

Oshiro looks at Robin curiously. "Wishes. They can be very dangerous things. Right now I don't even know if a wish could be granted to get me out of this. I'm in over my head with this." She then looks at the new arrival and returns the bow politely.

Robin looks back to Oshiro, "Even if a wish isn't the way to go about it, she may have an idea for what direction to go to purify a soul." And no, he doesn't seem to be explaining what's going on to Miyu at all.

Miyu nods. "I introduced you to her," she responds, "She's my neighbor... I wish I knew how to purify a soul..."

Oshiro frowns, "Purifying the soul isn't the problem! Its the fact that a witch poisoned my soul. I have tried to purify it. Watch." She gets out a grief seed and touches it to her soul gem. Immediately the gem clears up and shines bright. There is still that black streak though cutting through it. "No matter what I try it doesn't go away."

Robin shakes his head. "My point is that as a deity... she probably knows more about souls than any of us. She might have the information Twilight Sparkle would need to unpoison it. To remove that blackness from it." He looks back to Miyu again. "...I think... it's worth a shot, at least... right?"

Sapphire squirms a bit in Miyu's hands. "It's stronger now Miyu-sama," the wand states, "This young lady has the same sense as the mystery explosions of mana!" Miyu just looks at Robin with a slightly raised brow "I...suppose?"

Oshiro takes a moment. "I'm in no position to say no. I've not resigned myself to becoming a Witch yet." She snickers a little. "If I did we'd be fighting right now." She laughs. "So whats the idea?"

Robin blinks and looks at Miyu's wand as it talks... This is still something he's not used to. "Uhhh... Yeah, Oshiro here was- Oh! Sorry, sorry... Miyu, this is Oshiro Rio, Oshiro, this is Miyu Emiya. Oshiro here has a problem where... ehhh, she'd probably be better to explain it than I would." He sighs, leaning a hand on the HVAC unit on the roof.

Robin mumbles, "I'm still weirded out by the possibility of talking to a deity by knocking on her door rather than having a powerful cleric use their strongest spells..."

Miyu says, "Her and her sisters seem not to mind guests at all though, Robin-san. I'm sure it will be fine...""

Oshiro thinks, "Long story short, By the end of the month unless someone finds a way to fix my current dilemma I will either be dead or a danger to a nice chunk of the city." She blushes a little.

Miyu says, "Is that why there've been sudden mana pop ups in the city? Sapphire-san was uncertain if some sort of bizzar incident was happening with the class cards or if some other sort of enemy was attacking."

Robin nods at what Oshiro says. "I've promised her I'll take her down if it comes to that," he says solemnly. "But I'd rather do everything in my power to keep it from happening."

Oshiro looks at Miyu, "Yeah probably. LOts of witches have been turning up. Its been nuts. I've been fighting with all I am. Its that feeling that I can't keep going ya know. I'm at the point where I'm making mistakes. I can't stand it."

Robin walks back over to Oshiro and pokes a finger at her shoulder. "That is what a team is for. I never work solo if I can avoid it."

Miyu nods a little. "It is hard to work alone sometimes..."

Oshiro takes a deep breath. "Where I'm from... Magical girls Don't work together. We are in competition with each other. Witches occasionally drop Grief Seeds. We need those to keep from from... becoming witches ourselves. So. We fight. We fight witches. We fight over territory. It means the difference between life and death. its that serious. So... I don't exactly have much experience working with others."

Robin makes a slightly look of revulsion. "That is... just messed up. If I worked alone in my world, I'd have died a lot earlier than I did, and there wouldn't have been anyone to put the effort into bringing me back. It's just not feasable to do that kind of work by yourself."

Miyu says, "I tried competition because my mentor and the other girl's mentor didn't get along, but the enemy was a bit too much, so we became friends and fought together despite that."
