Of course, of course. It's the night of the birthday party of one of his best friends... and Gonfei is stuck working. Well, duh, in this case! He doesn't seem to mind at all, of course, as he's more than happy to show off his flourishes as he mixes and serves up drinks! Rave walks in. Well, more like waddles at this point. She heads to the bar, and attempts, hilariously, to get up onto a bar stool. After a few tries she manages to get into one, and pants a bit from the effort. Zelan walks in nearby Rave, dressed up more than she typically is when working around her employer/business partner. This is, of course, because she's not working tonight! Still, she looks like she's just about to offer Raven her help as the pregnant woman does maker her way into the seat. Yes, she knows Raven would prefer to do things herself, that's the only reason she held back that much. With that effort complete, she slips easily onto the barstool next to her. "You know, perhaps a table would have been sufficient?" Rave chuckles a bit as she sits back in the seat. "Well yes, but people tend to gather and talk here. I'm not going to be kept out of things just because I'm the size of a small country." she smiles, resting her hand on her stomach. Just outside, a pair of cyllenders of vertical streaks of light forms up, then fades away, leaving behind one Violet Karrde-Donovan and her wife, Alexa Karrde-Donovan! No way Violet'd miss the party of her favorite aunt!(And that's saying a lot, considering she's also really fond of Minerva!) "C'mon, Love, let's head in... I've not been here since the big night!" She quickly takes ahold of Alexa's hand and pulls her along! Alexa can't help but laugh as she gets willingly dragged by her wife. "Well, we ain't been many places since the big day..." she smirks. "Not that I'm really complainin'!" Gonfei smirks lightly at the two that just took a seat near him. "So what would the two of you like to drink for now, eh?" He looks between Rave and Zelan. Zelan tilts her head slightly, then shrugs. "Oh, give me what you'd call a specialty. I'm feeling like trying something different tonight." She pauses a moment as she looks at Gonfei. "I don't think I ever introduced myself to you... Zelan Darkflower, Former head of Design Team Petal of Magus Spaceworks." Rave smiles at Gonfei. "Pineapple juice sounds fantastic, I think. A carafe of it if you can!" she chuckles. "The boys want what they want." Gonfei smirks lightly and nods to them both. "Pineapple and something flaming it is, then." He then blinks in actual recognition at something Zelan says. "Oh, hey! Yeah, I commissioned some armor from Design Team Shard a while back. And how's your mother been? I've not seen her in over a century," he says as he turns to first fill a carafe with the pineapple juice. Hisako actually had to go shopping again before she could plan on stopping by the Kraken, and she's still blushing just a bit. She's wearing a sleeveless grey top, short enough to show off just a bit of her midriff; and a black miniskirt, both snug enough to hug her curves rather closely. It threads the needle between 'modest' and 'showy,' with an extra eye towards providing all the mobility she imagines she could need while she's out and about. Black stockings sheath her legs, with relatively fashionable boots on her feet. And she's even managed, through pure luck, to land a date of sorts, if Robin was willing to get dragged along to the nightclub. Zelan blinks in outright shock that someone not only recognizes her place of former employment, but also Zelan herself! "I... uh... wha? She, uh, is kinda dissing the family as an organization, so, uh, is kinda hard to track... down." Rave watches the exchange with an eyebrow raised. "Who /don't/ you know, Gonfei?" Robin wasn't planning on this, really, So he's not had that chance to go shopping for nicer clothes that Hisako did... Not that he'd really be able to do that without help anyway. The guy does /not/ know modern fashion at all. You should see the outfit he fights in! ...Better yet, maybe you shouldn't. In fact, he was more or less snagged right up on the boardwalk, not having been aware of the event to begin with. Still... guys don't usually dress up as much as women do, so he doesn't look /that/ out of place... does he? Reguardless, he actually does look a bit nervous even before he steps in. He doesn't think pulling him along was originally in Hisako's plans, but... is this an actual date? He's not sure how the 'rules' work on this sort of thing. "Uhhh... wow..." he says as he walks in. Of course he's assuming the holograms are all illusion spells. It's right about now that the clubgoers on the floor erupt in cheers. Ari has arrived! The birthday girl, who honestly still looks nineteen instead of thirty-one, blushes a bit from the attention. Who are we kidding, though, she enjoys it! She weaves her way through the crowd, high-fiving and fistbumping some of the regulars as she makes her way to the bar. Zelan raises an eyebrow to Raven as he sets down the caraffe and a pre-filled glass of the juice in front of Rave. "Not as many people as you may think. I've never actually /met/ Zelan before... well, maybe in passing at Diamondia, but things were... hectic there." He motions with his head towards the entering Violet. "Her mother and Zelan's mother both received Khadran Crystals in the same cerimony afterword. I was there, but in armor..." He looks to Zelan again. "If you were there, I'm guessing you weren't looking like you are now." He then turns to go start making the drink for Zelan, but stops as the crowd erupts in cheers and looks out to Ari as he joins in! Violet pulls Alexa in a little closer to lean her head against her wife's. "We should go out more, I suppose. Constantly heading outsystem to sight see kinda has been making us a bit hermity, I thi-" But then the crowd erupts into roars, and Violet looks out as well with a cheer! Rave takes a sip of the juice right before Ari comes in. She puts the glass down and starts cheering along! Alexa kisses Violet's cheek and grins before cheering the half-elf as well, cupping her free hand around the side of her mouth to amplify it. Zelan silently shakes her head at Gonfei, then turns to look as well at the cheering. She herself doesn't add to the din of cheers, though she does smile at the hostess. Robin, for his part, just looks confused as everyone starts cheering. He leans over to Hisako to ask in a normal tone(which might as well be a whisper here), "Should I know who she is?" Ari finally makes it to the bar, grinning like the cat that ate the canary. She hugs Raven, and then peers at her sister. Raven grins at her, and Ari rolls her eyes. "Dont" "But I have to!" Raven says. "I swear to the gods, Raven" "Sorry, its tradition youre still the biggest April Fool's joke Mom ever played." The elf groans. "It gets worse every year, I swear!" Hisako politely joins in the applause when Ari enters the dance floor, then asides back to Robin, "I presume she's the guest of honor ... ?" She's got a bit of a sheepish look on her face at this point - maybe this was a bad night to drop by the nightclub, but it's not like the bouncers turned her away or demanded to see an invitation ... Robin nods to Hisako, a bit more releived since she doesn't know her, either. "Ah, I see... This is... really unlike any tavern I've ever been in, though. It's just... wow." Gonfei snrrks slightly at the joke, but Zelan just looks completely lost by it. "April Fool's joke?" Apparently she's never head of that particular 'holiday'. Violet tries to make her way over with Alexa to the bar... squeezing through the crowds. Not that she minds having to squeeze tighter against Alexa in the process! "Ari!" she calls out among all the other patrons. "Happy Birthday!" Rave grins at Gonfei. "April 1st is called April Fool's day. It's a day people play pranks on each other. Seems fitting it's this one's birthday." she says, laughing a little as Ari wrinkles her nose annoyedly, albeit still cutely. She's about to say something when Violet and Alexa walk up. She smiles and hugs the two of them together. "Hey guys! Thanks! I'm surprised the newlyweds are out and about." she chuckles. Violet chuckles at Ari, then shakes her head. "We don't spend /every/ free moment together doing... 'newlywed' things. We got that out of our system on the honeymoon, now we just do that /half/ the time." Alexa smirks as she hugs the elf back. "In other words, whenever we ain't at work." she winks at Violet. Violet squeezes them both, now managing finally to blush at all the innuendo. "Ahem, well, I did say half our /free/ time, but, well, um, yeah, we have to actually sleep sometimes, you know, so, um..." Nope, she's losing it! She can't keep it up with this many people around her paying attention this time. Zelan nods in vague understanding at the explanation, but stays back from the hugging. She then looks to Gonfei, who is now handing her a drink that is still on fire. "Uhhhhh," she manages to say before looking back up to Gonfei from the flames. After a moment, she blows it out and downs the shot. Ari laughs. "It's alright, Vi. Just smile, blush, and get her back later." she grins. It's at this point she realizes there are people here that are new to her! So she steps back from the happy couple, and in typical Ari fashion, she goes into work-mode and puts on her club owner smile as she walks over to Hisako and Robin. "Hi there! Welcome to the Kraken!" Alexa smirks at Ari. "Don't make her threaten me with a good time." she chuckles, and once Ari steps away she pulls Violet to her and smooches her right on the lips. Hisako nods to Robin, "Yeah, 'tavern' is probably a bad comparison ... - ah!" She straightens up, bowing politely to Ari. "Thank you! IT's actually my first time visiting, but I heard this is one of the major night-life spots in NeoTokyo, so .... ah. I gather congratulations are in order?" She offers a handshake to Ari. Robin shrugs, but doesn't get to respond to Hisako before Ari walks up. He looks to Hisako, then mimics her bow, but clearly in a less practiced fashion. "Uhh, yeah! Me too. Except I wasn't as informed about it ahead of time." Violet keeps blushing, but does smile and nod. "Oh, I'll get her back later, don't worry. She's probably not going to regret it, though." She does frown slightly as Ari goes into working mode and wanders off to greet the others. "...She can't turn it off, can she Raven?" Rave shakes her head at Violet. "She can't even turn it down to like, ten. Constantly at eleven. Even today." Ari smiles at the Hisako and Robin, bowing slightly in return. "Thanks! It's my birthday, so any excuse to party. At least owning the place means I don't have to find a venue! So relax, have some fun, and.." she turns back to the bar. "Gonfei! These two have their first drinks on the house." Gonfei raises up a hand with an empty glass to aknoledge the free drinks for the two. With one look, he's certain neither will be getting any alcohol without showing an ID. Hisako has ID, but she *still* wouldn't try to get anything alcoholic. "Thank you, ma'am!" she replies cheerfully to Ari; she'll let Robin finish talking (if he has anything else in mind to say, at least) before leading him over to the bar. "Ah ... Gonfei, wasn't it?" she asks the bartender. "I thought you normally work at the Usual? - Sparkling apple cider, please." Rave finishes her glass of pineapple juice and pours herself another. She gets a weird look on her face for a moment and starts scolding her stomach in Russian. Robin laughs once, fairly nervously. "Yeah... Relax. Sure." With /this/ many people around? This farm raised boy is far from in a relaxed state! Still, he's nothing if not brave, and does make his way along just after Hisako. "Ummmm, yeah, uh... same for me, I guess?" Violet glances down at Rave's stomach. "Misbehaving already, are they?" Gonfei nods to the two of them, setting off quickly to get their orders filled. "You may or may not have noticed that I can only be found there on weekdays, Miss Hisako. Weekends I moonlight here, isntead. It's a very different type of work, I must say!" He sets down the two glasses, waving away a holographic tuna that appears to be taking an interest in the drinks. Ari smiles a bit as people keep talking and and walks back up to the bar. "And I'll have a... what the hell. Pangalactic gargleblaster. It's my birthday, after all! Rave chuckles and nods. "Yeah, they're von Tilsens after all. Plus twins tend to come early, so when they start getting uppity I'm worried they're trying to escape. Gonfei raises an eyebrow at Ari. "I'm assuming real, not counterfeit?" Hisako blinks at Ari, "A panga.... what?" O.o; She picks up her glass of cider, taking a sip. Ari grins almost wickedly. "I want the feeling of having my brains smashed in by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick. Bring. It. Ooooonnnnn." Gonfei sighs and nods his head. "Yeah, that's what I figured." It's a pain to make these, afterall! He goes off to start collecting up the ingredients. Violet looks to Hisako. "Something that most people should never attempt to drink. Ari is... resistant to most of that kinda stuff." Rave wrinkles her nose, just like Ari did earlier. They are sisters after all, if only half. "And yet I'm deathly allergic to booze. It's not fair." she shakes her head. Rainbow_Dash slips in, looking around, maybe Pinkie Pie is lurking about? "Hey all!" she greets! Alexa hmms at Ari's drink order getting such a reaction, but thinks the better of it. "Beer, bottled is fine, please." she smiles at Gonfei, slipping an arm around Violet's waist. Hisako sprouts a very large sweatdrop at the effect that Ari just described. "I'm not sure why you'd *want* to feel like that ... I thought people who drink alcohol drink it for the immediate buzz, not for the hangover that follows later. Anyway, the cider is really good, thank you!" She pauses, somehow hearing a familiar voice over the music, and turns away to wave to the rainbow-maned pegasus. Gonfei sets down the ingredients on the bar top. Setting a special made glass in front of him, he first pours in a spirit, then what appears to be seawater. He takes three cubes... they don't appear to be normal ice, and drops them in next. He then sets the glass on top of a device with a four-liter bottle attached to it, causing whatever is in that bottle to bubble up through the mixture. He then takes out a silver spoon which he balances a thicker liquid onto the back of, somehow. He puts that in, then drops, of all things, a tooth of some sort of monster into the glass, where it dissolves. He sprinkles something on top, then, finally, puts in an olive. "All right. Happy Birthday, Ari." Ari grins at Hisako. "Because it's fun and I can." she chuckles, then oooooohs as Gonfei puts the drink in front of her. "Oh, that looks amazing..." she marvels. Rainbow_Dash says, "Oh! Cider! Hey HIsako!" she waves, trotting over to the bar, "Birtday, huh? Cool! Pinkie'll be sad she missed it!"" Rave just shakes her head. "Well, considering neither of her love interests are here, and I'm the size of a planet, someone else is going to have to scrape her up off the ground and carry her home after this. Or at least to the couch in her office." Hisako gives the drink whose name she can't pronounce a VERY suspicious look, "It dissolved a *tooth* .... ?" Gonfei takes a good swig of his cider as well, nodding in agreement with Hisako's assessment of it. "Yeah it... Oh! Hey, Rainbow Dash. How're things with you?" Robin takes a good swig of his cider as well, nodding in agreement with Hisako's assessment of it. "Yeah it... Oh! Hey, Rainbow Dash. How're things with you?" Gonfei waves a hand at Raven. "Oh, she'll make it to her office at the least. She's got plenty of people to carry her around here," suggesting he'd do the job if no one else would. Ari looks up. "Hey Dash!" she waves at the pegasus, then looks back at the drink. She takes a few deep breaths, then takes a swig. With a loud "WOOOOOOO!!!!" she bangs her fists on the bar a few times then lands on her rear, laughing. Gonfei also goes to get Alexa a beer! And Violet a screwdriver! The drink, not the tool. Because yes, he knows her favored drink. Rainbow_Dash says, "Okay...not touchin' THAT stuff! Cider please!" She grins, leaning against the bar on her bacg legs; standing that way, she's nearly human-sized; but still short, "Hi, Ari, Robin, Hisako! I'm okay, just kinda bored latley," she confesess, "But still....they say be careful what ya wish for, right?" Alexa blinks at Ari's reaction, takes her beer off the bar, then just kind of steps away from the elf slowly. Rainbow_Dash says, "Oh, Hey Gonfei! Sorry, music's WAY loud!" Violet takes her drink as well, then looks at Ari's drink, then at Alexa. "Soooo, neither of us are gonna try that drink, right?" Rainbow_Dash says, "You'd have to be a totall, reckless, hard-core adventure seeking Pony to try that!" Gonfei nods with a grin to Dash. "Another cider coming right up! Sure you don't want some mead?" Why no, he's never going to let the pegasus live that one down. Alexa shakes her head at Violet. "I ain't goin' near it, darlin'." Robin says, "It dissolved a tooth /quickly/. Yeah, I'm... keeping my distance from that glass." He's fought dragons without a second thought! That drink scares him." The elf's laughter subsides a bit, and she literally claws her way up and leans against the bar. "That.. was... ARCTIC!!" Ari grins. Raven just pinches the bridge of her nose and shakes her head. Rainbow_Dash pffts and sticks her tounge out, "Think I'll pass, I don't need another lecture," she rolls her eyes. Gonfei deadpans to Ari, "You're the only person I've seen get up that quickly after that." Ari leans on the bar and kind of sways a bit. "Well, my legs feel like rubber, my head is spinning,and I'm fairly sure there was only one of you before I drank it...now there's.. maaaaaybe five? It kind of fluctuates..." Hisako says, "What exactly is 'mead,' anyway? I don't think I've heard of it outside of fantasy movies ..." Rainbow_Dash says, "It's stuff from Olympus......" Rainbow_Dash says, "It's got kind of...a kick to it. :)" Gonfei looks over to Hisako and Robin. "This is why you should drink responsibly. And mead is a drink made from fermented honey." He glances at Rainbow Dash with a raised eyebrow. "I think you're talking about Ambrosia?" Rainbow_Dash says, "I love that band!" Gonfei blinks. "Band? No, it's...." He sighs and shakes his head. "Nevermind." Rave rolls her eyes a bit at her sister, then empties the rest of the carafe of juice into her glass. Hisako just looks confused for a bit, and drinks some more cider. And is very, VERY glad she's staying away from what would colloquially be called 'the hard stuff'. If Ari is all but immune to alcohol and the panga-thingamawhatsit left HER that badly sloshed, Hisako would probably pass out just from standing downwind of the beverage. "So how've you been, Dash?" Violet nods to Alexa as she sips her screwdriver. "Good, Love, Good. As much as I'd not mind carrying you home, I'd rather it not be because you got so sloshed you can't even see straight." She leans over to kiss Alexa's cheek again before leaning into her. Robin is looking fairly lost... Really, nothing new for him. He almost always is looking lost. Only halfway through his drink, he's not needing a refill just yet. Still, he's listening intently to Hisako's conversation with Rainbow Dash. "On that note... How've you been Hisako? I've not seen you guys in a few weeks..." Rainbow_Dash says, "I've been good," to Hisako, " Like I said, kinda bored lately, but I guess that's not a totally bad thing." Ari takes a few more deep breaths, then realizes she only downed half the drink. She looks rather pleased that the beverage experience isn't over. Zelan, having been chatting with someone else off to the side, glances back at Ari again. "....Aaaaand she's actually going to finish that monstrosity off, isn't she?" Rave sighs and shakes her head. "It's Ari. Of /course/ she is." "She's unlikely to have a second," quips Gonfei. "And as she's not a thirty ton elephant, she's definitely not getting a third." Ari seems to be steeling herself a little, bracing herself on the bar before lifting the glass and downing the rest. She puts the glass down, bangs the bar with her fists a few more times and shouts something in Elven before falling back to the floor again. Rainbow_Dash....why...uh...would someone do that...on purpose? Rave's jaw kind of drops at Ari's declaration, and she just shakes her head again. Violet raises an eyebrow at Rainbow Dash. "Because some people want the challange?" Rainbow_Dash says, "That's not a challenge...O.o that's just..drinking till you pass out?" Robin shakes his head. "Yeah, I'm not touching that." He looks at Hisako and Rainbow Dash and points his thumb at Ari. "Ehhh, she says she can taste colors..." Rainbow_Dash pffts and laughs, "Just don't try tasting the rainbow." XD Rave snickers. "And apparently red tastes like time. Violet chuckles and leans her back onto Alexa. "It's a challange for Ari." "I.." the elf responds from the floor, raising her finger in the air to accentuate her statement, "Am a potato." Rainbow_Dash says, "Still don't get it," Hisako just takes a half-step further away from Ari's now-empty glass. "I *can* carry her home if necessary," the teenager notes. Never mind that she looks like she could be carried around on Ari's back, or over her shoulder. Robin responds back in fairly heavily accented Elven, "You don't have enough eyes to be a potato." He looks to Hisako and shrugs. "I could help," he says in non-elven. Gonfei shrugs to Rainbow Dash. "It's a cultural thing, for the most part." Rainbow_Dash says, "Guess I'm not in Equestria anymore." Ari wrinkles her nose a bit, but seems too comfortable on the floor to get up. "Noooooo, YOU don't have enough... stuff... and things... Gonfei leans over the bar and looks down at Ari. "I'm cutting you off." Robin looks down at Ari, then back up at Rainbow Dash. "I wish I could say I've never run into this kinda stuff in my world... But yeah. This isn't... that uncommon there." Ari looks up at Gonfei, sticks her tongue out, and gives him a raspberry. Then she stops, puts her tongue back in, and wrinkles her nose. "You ain't the bossa me!" Rainbow_Dash sips her cider, it;s completley out of her experience! "So...uh...drinking stuff till you get sick, pass out and...get cranky...is a thing here. Weird! Gonfei nods to Ari. "Correct. You're the boss of me. And you've made it very clear to keep an eye on people to cut them off when they need to be cut off. And you need to be cut off now." Alexa puts her now empty beer bottle on the bar, grins, and grabs Violet's hand, pulling her to the dance floor. Violet nods to Rainbow Dash. "I think it's a thing in most worlds, honestly. Yours might be the exceptioooOOON!" And she's pulled out to the dance floor! "Oh, this is new. You dragging /me/ out?" She laughs and kisses Alexa on the cheek on the way. Ari raises her fist and shakes it. "Damn your logic an' good sense an' listenin' to my rules an' stuff! You're gettin' a raise!" Rainbow_Dash heads out onto the dance floor by herself and starts dancing as well! The shower of water coming down stops and is replaced by bubbles! Lots and lots of bubbles! Rainbow_Dash boogies! Hisako finishes off her cider, setting the empty glass down ... then turns to look at Robin. "Well, I dragged you along with me here. It's only right to offer to dance with you, if you'd like?" Rave laughs, grinning at Gonfei. "I'm witness to the raise thing. Just in case she doesn't remember. Gonfei nods at Rave with a grin. "Oh, I'm keeping her to it!" And thanks to all thise craziness and the like, it's drawn the attention of the Fog Battleship, Roma. And in the Mental Model walks and she hmms as she sees the goings on, "Oh..this is new." she says as she looks around, reminds her of those celebrations she's seen in her world when she was people watching while she sat on her shipbody. Alexa smiles at Violet. "Hey, told ya I've been tryin'! My wife likes dancin', so I'm gonna take her dancin'." Rainbow_Dash dance-dances, she's energetic but NOT an awesome dancer! Of course, she's a pony! So, maybe she's a great dancer pony-wise! Robin blinks at that. So it is a date? He's still not sure, given her wording. "I, uh... sure! Though I'll warn you I'm not much a dancer... You know... country bumpkin and all..." Really, he's completely unsure of what to think of this. He finally finishes off his own cider, still his first... Roma hmms as she sees Rainbow, Robin, and Violet and she hmms a bit. Well, seems they're having fun so she makes her way to the bar and goes to sit down. Rainbow_Dash is better at dance revoltion, though! Rave is sitting at the bar finishing a glass of pineapple juice, Ari is laying on the floor muttering something about how purple tastes like the movement of tectonic plates. Gonfei smiles as Roma approaches. "(Hello again, Miss Roma,)" he says in Italian. "(Do you want a Root beer, wine, or would you like to try something new?)" Violet, for her part, doesn't seem to notice Roma. This is, of course, because Alexa now has aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall of her attention! "Well then, a -dancing we are going! Ooh! And bubbles!" It takes a pan-galactic gargle blaster to get Ari to be that drunk... but just one screwdriver and Violet is already clearly tipsy. She does attempt to dance with Alexa, but she's not the best under normal circumstances. She seems to be preferring a dancing style that keeps her pressed against her wife. It's both enjoyable and helps with her balance! Roma hmms at Gonfei and smiles a bit as she replies in Italian herself, "(Some wine if you please. Red if you have it. Also we can converse in other languages.)" she says with a smirk as she looks at Ari, "And is she okay?" she asks as she goes to poke the Elf. Alexa has only had a beer, so she's fine and is more than happy to let Violet use her to steady herself. She laughs a little as a large bubble lands on the top of Violet's head. Hisako smiles, "I'll take my chances. Call it 'compensation' for pulling you along?" She offers a hand to Robin, then leads him down to the dance floor ... although she's not really in any hurry. Rave chuckles at Roma. "It's her birthday, so she decided to have a drink. She decided to have a pangalactic gargleblaster. It's having some.. interesting effects." Rainbow_Dash hops back after a while on the dance floor, dancing by herself and / or occasionally with a nameless someone who wants to dance with a cute blue pegasus. "Hey, Roma!" she greets, picking up her glass and drinking down some cider. Gonfei laughs. "'If we have it'." He goes to get her a glass of wine. An Italian one, because he gets a kick out of the fact that there's someone who actually is, more or less, Italian as well here now. Robin does turn to wave to Roma, and in fact does call out to her, "Evenin, Roma!" before he's pulled out to the dance floor. He does notice Hisako's hesitation, and frowns slightly, unsure of what to make of it. Of course, he's unsure of what he's thinking, so this might be a mutual thing. Still, no one wants to be danced with because their partner feels obligated to, right? Reguardless, once on the dance floor, it's fairly clear he has no clue what he's doing there, and in fact he's often looking around at others to see how he should be doing it. Roma nods to Dash, "Hello Rainbow. How have you been. And have fun Robin." she says to him as he's drug to the dance floor and when she gets her wine she takes a sip of it, "Ah, very good." she says with a nod, "My compliments. Imperio got me to like it." Violet crosses her eyes and looks upward at the feeling of the bubble there. Smirking slightly, she leans a bit more into Alexa and wraps her arms around her. She laughs once before she goes in for the full kiss. Rainbow_Dash says, "I'm okay, how are you? Refill, please, Gonfei," she shake-shakes her mane." Roma hmms, "Decent. Been looking for a job. Granted I don't need one, but...will give me something to do." she says with a shrug as she sips her wine. Gonfei nods and quickly refills Rainbow Dash's glass with cider. "Glad you like it, Roma." Rave wrinkles her nose for a moment, looks at her stomach, and scolds it in Russian again. Rainbow_Dash says, "It's god to interact," she nods, "So even if ya don't need to, it's god to," she grins, "Thanls GOnfei!" she sips down more cider." Ari sits up for a moment, points to Roma, says "You're hired!", then lays back down on the floor and starts talking about how the stars smell like peppermint. Rainbow_Dash looks to Ari, "Uh..that's me...." Roma blinkblinks at Ari and then at Gonfei, then looks at Ari again, then at Gonfei, "Well, that happened." she says with a tilt of her head. Hisako was sort of hoping the music would shift to something a little more novice-friendly, but by the time she and Robin are on the dance floor, no such luck. She settles for trying to copy what the other dancers nearby are doing - just relaxing her stance, moving with the beat of the music, and trying not to think about whether or not she looks like a complete idiot. She can't look any more foolish than anyone else, right? (Granted, she and Robin are probably more sober than most of the dancers around them ...) Alexa returns Violet's kiss with enthusiasm, pretty much ignoring the whistles and catcalling from some of the partiers near them. Gonfei facepalms. "Yeah, sorry about that. Ari's a bit... completely smashed at the moment. Honestly, I thought she could handle one of those... she's the only person I know that I thought could. She is the one who runs this place... We'll have to see what you can do to help out around here I think later, when Ari is sober." Rainbow_Dash says, "Quick...ask her for a raise!" Rainbow_Dash laughs Gonfei grins at Rainbow Dash and shakes his head. "She already gave me one. I have Raven here as witness!" Rave snickers, placing a hand on her stomach. "Oh, and it was quite substantial." she smirks. "At least, that's how I remember it." When Rainbow is about to ask that, Roma was sipping her wine and she does snort a bit as she giggles, "Hmm..that's a idea." she says with a giggle. "But really, I can clean up..or help with the computer." Well she is a computer intelligence. "I mean, I am a..ACI." Hmm..Raven might recognize that term. Robin, for his part, seems to be picking up modern dance fairly quickly! It is taking a lot of observing those around him, but he's managing to keep up with the beat and keep it looking like he's actually dancing /with/ Hisako rather than just doing his own thing. In his observations, though, he does spot the two women as well, and while he doesn't add to the catcalls, he does blush at that and perhaps watch them a few seconds longer than he should. Suddenly, the elf is on her feet and standing at the bar, looking strangely alert. "So! How about a water?" Gonfei is actually taken off guard by that! "Gah!" he says as he jumps back a foot or two. "Uhhh... okay. That was new." Rave is also startled, and the bar stool she's sitting on tilts a bit. She manages to right it, and gulps as she grips the bar. Zelan stops her side conversation as Rave tilts, quickly making a motion with her hand and causing a shield of force energy to form behind her. Yes, she is a bit protective of her employer/business partner. Violet doesn't seem to notice that she's giving anyone a show, either. That or she doesn't care. Either way, the kiss does end, and she follows it up with leaning her head on Alexa's shoulder instead. "I love you, Alexa. You know that, right?" Alexa smirks, slipping both arms around Violet's waist. "I hope so. I ain't got money to marry for, so... it had to be somethin'." Roma hmms as she looks at Ari, "Well, that was a fast rebound from being drunk." she says in a wondering tone. Ari smiles at Roma. "Oh, I'm still quite drunk, just not as debilitatingly drunk as I was, so I'm more of a functional drunk. Gonfei laughs and shakes his head. "Well, we can discuss just how functional you are tomarrow when you're not drunk, I'm thinking. And discuss how serious you are about the things you said." Violet laughs and nods, nuzzling in on Alexa as she does so. "You make me happy, that's what the something is." Roma nods, "Agreed. I mean you gave Gonfei a raise, if I heard right and hired me on the spot." she says with a tilt of her head. Alexa kisses Violet's cheek. "I know. An' I love you too, beautiful. I don't put on fancy dresses for just anyone." Ari wrinkles her nose a bit. "Well, to be fair Gonfei does deserve a raise, and I've hired people on the spot when I was sober, too, so... Roma hmms, "I don't have many..skills. I mean I am good with computers..but..not much else." Oh, and blowing stuff up. Rainbow_Dash's ear twitches! She snaps her head up! "Oh yeah! Call for help! That's what I'm talking about!" *POOM!* She rockets out sending many glasses and mugs spinning! Ari hmms. "Well, I'm a computer person myself, but.. Raven isn't as good with them. She and Zelan may want some help. Zelan speaks up. "Er, uh, yeah! I've been needing some more help with micro-electronics. I'm more of a specialist in larger systems, see, and general concepts and R&D, but a lot of what I work with is intended to be in wearables, while I'm not very good at creating the small scale electronics that they need." Violet says, "Hee hee... Well, I might be a little more willing to wear a fancy dress, but I'm happy you wore that one for me, and that one I wore was just for you." Roma hmms and looks at Zelan, "I might be able to help." and she hmms as she pays attention to Rainbow Dash's exit. Rave nods a little ."Good points. I'm more on the mechanical side, so... yeah, another pair of hands couldn't hurt at all, especially since I'm about to take a bit of a break. Zelan narrows her eyes and gives Rave a side glance. "Raven, you should already be on your 'bit of a break.'" And like that Roma gets up and blinks a bit, "Be right back. Seems Rainbow found a ship in danger. She might need help." and like that her body seems to loose cohension and shatter into some form of silvery sand and goes to flow out the door. Wait, what the hell. Zelan blinks in surprise.
