It's late afternoon, the sun still hangs in the sky, and a tired looking red-headed young man walks along Nerima avenue on his way to the train station. Robin covers his mouth as he yawns, then glances around on the off chance that he spots a certain somepony... but of course no, she's nowhere to be found. "Is this the reverse then, finally?" he mumbles to himself. "This city drags people here... maybe it sometimes just... takes them away?" He grimaces slightly, then sighs as he starts walking again.[Re for Spike]

Emerging onto Nerima ave is Summer, munching on some snack food. She looks up as her ears pick up a familiar voice as she closes in on it. "Takes who away?" she calls up the way to Robin curiously.

Spike comes walking along the street, apparently coming from the park. He has a red ball under his arm as he waves to some kids. "see ya! Nothing like a good game of dragon ball!" he chuckles to himself.

A quite plain afternoon by Archene's standards. As it is, he is just wandering about as usual, he seemed to be muttering some words to himself as he happened to hear a memorable voice. He was about to ask a question to its source... when someone else just asked it. He blinks a few times before looking from Robin to the one who asked then back, forgetting even to say a hello as he ponders on the possible answers.

Robin pauses as he hears the voice again and looks back over his shoulder at Summer. "Oh... hi," he says almost reluctantly. It's like he's surprised she's even talking to him. "The, uh... friend that Dash said was missing the other day." He covers his mouth again for another yawn. "...Sakura Shade." In his tired state, he doesn't seem to have noticed Archene's approach, unfortunately, though he does glance toward the tiny dragon when he hears that familiar voice. "Spike? Hey! Uhh.... still no word on Sakura Shade, is there?"

Summer blinks. "Well that's probably the most muted greeting I've ever gotten." she says when Robin acts MUCH happier to see Spike, whom she waves at with a tail and nods briefly once she spots Arch.

Spike says, "I haven't seen her..." he blinks, "We could try at her house- maybe she's just been out? Nobody's seen her that I know of. I'm thinking Discord mayb've hurt her feelings, she was being pretty sensitive about her cutie mark and all.""

Spike says, "He can be kind of thoughtless."

Spike says, "Oh, hey there Summer! How are you?" he smiles.

"Sakura went missing?" Archene sounded rather surprised, "And hello, hello Robin." He then nods back to Summer, with a light smile on his face.

Robin blinks at Summer's response, then sighs again and hangs his head toward her in a slight bow. "Oh... right, sorry. I can be kind of thoughtless sometimes, too. I got a bit internal, and... nevermind, not important. How are you managing in NeoTokyo the past few days, Summer? Have you found a place to stay yet?" He then nearly jumps at Archene's voice, turning to look at him with a nother few blinks. "Archie? Man, I've not seen you in... months!" No, he doesn't feel like making a more precise guess at how long it's actually been."

"Hi Spike. I'm doing ok." She says as she gets closer, ruffling the little dragons spines playfully. "So Robin, why do you seem so....I don;t want to say depressed but....." she shrugs. "Someone named Raven pointed out some apartments near the Usual that I've been looking into, though I haven't decided yet if they're right for me."

Spike says, "We really should go by her house and check on her. Ponies aren't really made to be alone all the time- uh, even though she's kind of new to the whole Pony thing."

Archene chuckles at Robin's reaction, "Shouldn't have been that long..." He grins but after a brief moment of thought, he chuckles again, "Alright, a few months probably. What have you been up to since then? Getting used to your job?" He smiles warmly at him.

Robin deadpans, "Besides the missing friend?" He sighs and shakes his head. "Well, there was that parting comment you made the other night," he says warily. He then grimaces and shakes his head to Archene. "There is no getting used to that place. I've still got that coworker that keeps wanting to fight me." His shoulders slump slightly as he looks back to Spike again. "You mean you guys haven't? From what Dash said, I figured she was outright missing..."

"Hmmm? Comment?" Summer audibly blinks. She looks lost, and her tails flick and swish as she tries to figure out what comment Robin;s talking about. She's got no idea who 'Archie' is, so she lets the people who know him talk.

Spike says, "I'm sure someone's gone to check...but I'm gonna go check to make sure!" he knows how nuerotic Ponies can be after all. He tucks his ball under his arm heads towads the forest...."

Robin blinks as Spike heads off, and waves to him. "Okay... I'll see you later then, Spike!" His expression then darkens slightly as he quotes, "'Nothing good ever comes from magic.'" After saying that, he looks back to Summer again. "Okay, I know, you're not aware, but my entire fighting style... most of my entire life after I got out of that little farming village... It's all reliant on magic... in one way or another." He glances back to Archene again... . o O ( ...I probably should tell him. )

Summer's ears go up. "...I....I see. I didn't know. Magic in my world is...not a good thing. At least that I've seen, and I have firsthand experience." the wolfgirl says. "So, in my experience, nothing good HAS come from magic that I know of." she says. "Though I guess here, that wouldn't be true for everyone...."

"That still?" Archene hmms as he scratches his head, "I hope that it solves itself eventually. Maybe you will find a better place to be as time goes." He smiles lightly, he glances from Robin to Spike then back to Robin... even lightly waving to Spike, before noticing a rather minor but important fact.

He looks at Summer before saying, "And sorry for the rather late introduction," He brings a hand to his heart before giving a rather light bow of his head, "I'm Archene Night, but just Archene tonight. A pleasure to meet you." And no, he has refrained to his best from looking too much at the tails or counting them. He shall endure! "Magic isn't too bad in many places, there are many good sides of magic around here if you look for it."

Summer grins. "Summer. Knight of Teknoria." the wolfgirl goes through a quick, if odd gesture; the ritual greeting of her Order.

Robin nods. "Sorry, I guess I was feeling a bit vulnerable, knowing Sakura was missing." He then winces again. "And I should have introduced the two of you to each other, as well... I am really losing my social touch lately, aren't I?" He lets out another tired sounding sigh before straightening up. "Well! If you were talking about the Open Arms just before... I happen to have an apartment there, myself. Just a little studio apartment, though... and I have a roommate... Actually, I should really see about getting a transfer to one with actual bedrooms, now that we both have jobs..."

A green bear comes dancing down the sidewalk. Singing, no less! "Look for the Bear neccities the simple bear necesscities, forget about your worries and you're strife...."

Ears going up, Summer turns to see...a dancing green bear. Only one thing comes to mind, from her most recent discussion in the UR not long ago.

"So...that must be Beast Boy...."

"A pleasure to meet you, Summer." Archene smiles warmly at Summer, though he doesn't recognize the gesture even if he assumes it is some sort of greeting from the Summer's land. He then looks at Robin before saying, "If both you and your roommate have a job, getting a better place to rest is always good." He snickers, "And don't worry, I should just have thought of it a bit earlier."

And then a green singing bear arrives. It is Neo Tokyo, certainly the kind of thing one would see while wandering through the city! Even then he can't help before look at the bear with some surprise in his face!

The Green bear stops sort and blinks, then Hmmms? "Nyehehhe, how caaaaan the be? it seems my reputation preceeds me!"

Robin slowly turns towards the talking green bear... but then shrugs. If there are talking pink ponies, why not a talking green bear? "And what reputation would that be?"

"Well, Raven wasn't lying about the green thing." Summer says, eying the bear over, tails flowing and swishing as she circles him over.

The bear "Awwwwwwwwwwakka wakka, that I'm da funniset bear in Neo-Tokyo! I am feeling a little green, though! Wakka wakka!" With that the bear morphs into a lanky green skinned human(ish) boy!

Beast Boy says, "Beast Boy! At you're service! But ya'll can call me Gar if ya like!"

A polymorphic green thing in humanish shape! Alright, that is something you don't see every day. "Pleasure to meet you Gar, you can call me Archene or anything of the kind." He smiles at him.

Robin tilts his head somewhat. "Apparently not?" The reputation doesn't preceed with Robin, alas, and he's a little bit at a loss. . o O ( A goblin druid? ) he wonders, but he doesn't voice it, expecting his guess to be wrong.

Robin hastily adds, "Oh! I'm Robin Caldworth..."

"I'm Summer." the wolfgirl says with a smile and a quick gesture; a ritualistic greeting. "Knight of Teknoria. I've met your friend Raven." she says to BB, offering a clawed hand to shake. Her fingers have very short, and very fine fur on them, not noticable without really looking for it, but it can be felt.

Beast Boy says, "Nice ta meetcha Archie, Robin, Summer!" he shakes the offered hand. "Sorry about showing up like that, but I lost a bet and had to sing down the street bear!" He cracks himself up. 'Wow, Raven actually left the tower? That's amazing! make me happy though!" he grins toothily wityh hsi somehow cute canines! 'Love the whole wolf thing you got going there, Summer! Nice tails!"

Summer smirks. Her tails flutter about in a show of her amusement. "Well, I don't often get compliments for these balls of fluff. So thanks." she chuckles.

Beast Boy says, "You're unique and I'm totally into people being unique!"

Robin slumps his shoulders somewhat and glances away, mentally wondering if he should just make a quiet exit. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Beast Boy," he says instead.

Beast Boy looks to Robin.."Uh, something wrong 'ol chum?" he can't help but make a Robin crack, but he is concerened.

Summer quirks a brow, spotting Robin acting overly morose. "You shouldn't worry so much, Robin. Chances are Sakura is just out and about, that's all." Or at least she assumes. She hasn't met her yet herself so...

Robin shakes his head at first... but then sighs and nods. "I'm just getting a bit stressed out again, that's all. Missing friend, old friend I haven't seen in two years showing up that I barely know how to talk to anymore, overreacting to what Summer said... I guess things are building up on me again."

Archene sighs quietly as he listens to Robin's words, "You need to let steam out a bit sometime, Robin before tackling problems again." He half-smiles.

Beast Boy says, "This sounds like a job...for the Arcade! That's a great place to blow off steam- without actually breaking things!"

"For the what?" Summer blinks in confusion. "What exactly does an 'arcade' look like, then?"

Beast Boy says, "Like...like...heaven.....;.;"

Robin blinks, then raises an eyebrow. "Arcade? You know what? Yeah. I think maybe I should let off steam there... It's been a while since I've been in that place." He smiles, perhaps a bit weakly, as he nods to Archene, then looks to Summer again. "I think you just have to see it for yourself. It... it defies explanaition." Well, Robin is from a medeival world.

Beast Boy says, "let's go then! If you don't know what an Arcade is...it's high time you found out!"

"Hmm. Well, I have to admit, I'm intrigued." Summer replies to BB and Robin. "Lead on then."

Beast Boy turns into a Lion! "To OZ!"

Townsville Arcade-o-rama

Cue the spinning Beast Boy symbol! ...which is just the old 60's batman logo with BB's head covering up the head. And we're there!

Beast Boy steps into the Arcade as a Gorilla! "THE FUNNNNNN has arrived!"

"Hmm. You do seem to have a thing for changing form. How did you come by your powers, exactly?" Summer asks as the arrive. Then the noise hits her and she rears back, hands going to cover her sensitive lupine ears in pain.

Robin follows on in, looking a little more tired, but perhaps a little more hopeful. That popular racing game, though, is currently out of order... but there's some workmen there fixing it. Well, work ladies. One with a long red ponytail, the other in blonde, looking quite bored with her life. "Yeah," says Robin. "Are you, what, a druid? At least that's the only way for that I know from my own experience..."

Archene follows them on! And then people take guesses on the how the polymorphic one changes shape! Thus he has to give his own input, "Well, he could be just one of those polymorphic beings that can change shape at will, but aren't inherintly evil. I mean, at least the not-evil part should be right." He motions a hand towards beast boy.

Beast Boy says, "Naw...not evil, I'm one of the good guys and it's science gone amok; I had a weird deadly desease that only animals can survive. MAN, that sounds so stupid when I say it out loud! So, experimental drug and BAM! Beast Boy! I could've done worse though, they say if you don't have your sense of humor, you ain't got nothin'." He grins, "I'll go and getcha a game card, Summer, they don't take coins anymore and my Mom always tried to get me to be just a little chivalrous." He grins."

"As a Knight, I can't say I disapprove of chivalry, my green friend..." Summer replies as her ears adjust. "But what exactly is all this?" She's seen some odd Tech in her travels across various worlds before coming here. But this is still weird.

Beast Boy looks to Robin, " S'plain it to her, Luthy! I'm on a mission!" he goes over to the counter to get the cards.

Robin nods to BB at first, then stops and asks, "Luthy?" He's clearly not understanding the reference. He then shakes his head and waves a hand across all the various machines. "They're... well, games! Video games, they're called. You use the buttons and sticks to control the things on the screens, and then... well, the goal changes between each of the games, really..." He trails off as he looks at the women working on the racing game. He's seen them before somewhere, but he can't put a finger on where...

"Hmmm. Strange. So these are meant to be a Technological amusement?" Summer looks around. "Ok, I'm definitely curious now."

Beast Boy gets a card for himself and summer with enough credits to have a bit of fun! He gets a atrange look from the guy behind him. "Dude....stay away from the avacado salad.." he says in a consipartorial whisper, then laughs to himself as he returns. "Here ya go, Summer! Enjoy!" he hands her the game card.

Taking said card, Summer looks it over in curiosity. "How does it work? It just looks like an oddly designed card to me."

Beast Boy says, "You slip it into the game slots...and it reads what you've got and let's you play the game."

"Hmm. You said these things used to take coins. I'm guessing these are reloadable?" Summer asks, looking around to see what games might catch her eye.

Beast Boy turns into a large horse. "Eeeeeyup!" he says in a deep voice.

Archene, having been just watching the whole situation after seeing a rather quiet 'oh' at Beast Boy's explanation of self hmming briefly and seems to search his pockets for something before asking Robin, "Planing on playing that game, after they are done with it?" He motions towards the racing game being fixed(?).

Summer quirks a brow at Beast Boy's change and snickers. "Somehow I get the feeling this is supposed to be a pun of some kind."

Robin blinks and steps back. He is not getting used to BB's rapid changes. "Uhhhh, yeah. It's awkward, but it works in the end..." He then looks back to Archene again. "Huh, what? The game?" He looks back to the machine again as the blonde woman pulls out what looks like a capacitor, but it's glowing. "Yeah, sure, why not..." He then narrows his eyes, recalling something else... "Wait... no..." He grimaces slightly and reaches a hand up to the center of his chest and grips.

Beast Boy turns back to 'normal' "Learn you will, Padawan, Learn you will...." he grins. He looks to Robin, "Dude, you okay?

"Pad-what?" Summer chuckles and looks around. Finding an odd looking game, she heads towards it to get a closer look.

Beast Boy says, "Sorry, keep forgetting you're not from around here, Summer; of course hardly anybody is..." he smiles. "Oh! Dance revoltion, I'm great at that one!"

Summer blinks, turning to the game almost to the immediate right of what she'd been looking at to see the dancing game. "...Huh. Weird looking thing...."

Robin's gaze turns to a bit of a glare, still looking at the pair, and at the glowing object in the blonde's hand. And at the similar object she's putting back in. "...I'm fine. They're not," he says with a bit of menace in his voice... but how to deal with this? A fight in this packed place would be worse than at the mall... he glances around, wondering what he should do now. "...I've seen them before. They tried to drain Rainbow Dash dry..."

Beast Boy is about to put the card into the slot, when he can't help but over-hear Robin..."Who...what now? Bad guys? Where??" he looks around!

Summer turns as well, wondering what's going on. Draining someone dry? Sounds like Vampires to her.

Archene glances at the ones Robin is glaring at, frowning slightly. He quietly says, "I don't recommend doing much to them in here. If they are anything that really requires fighting... this place will become a mess." He sighs, "And if you glare at them too much, they'll notice. If they haven't yet."

Beast Boy slips up behind Archene and Robin. "Hey...I can clear this place out in a hurry...

Closing the compartment, the blonde looks up again, then pauses. "...We're being watched," she says in a monotone to her red-haired partner.

"Of course we're being watched," the red-head says. "People have been waiting for us to get this game up and running for hours. These pesky capacitors, eh? Keep overloading..." She laughs once, but the blonde shakes her head, looking right at Robin.

"He knows," she says simply. "We should take him out."

The red-head sighs and puts a hand to her forhead. "Oh for- Kora, you are far too fight happy. Let's just walk out and everything will be fine." The red-head reaches for the glowing 'capacitor' and puts it into her work bag. The blonde reluctantly nods and starts backing away to the door... but she's not taking her eyes off of Robin and now Archene, BB, and Summer, noticing them all watching the pair. The red-head is much better at acting natural.

Robin nods to BB. "I don't know what exactly they're up to, though. I just know they were taking... some energy or something from people in the mall before," he says quietly, hoping not to be overheard by the pair.

Beast Boy says, "OR! Better yet!" He Transforms into a Cheetah and dashes at the red-head! His intention is to grab the bag from her hand and speed outside with it!"

Summer's tails slow, as she's unsure whether or not a fight is about to break out. Or even if one should. But then Beast Boy decides to more or less take matters into his own...teeth? She frowns. "This is gonna get interesting...."

The blonde's diligence proved merit-worthy, as she easily spots the cheetah dashing in. She places herself firmly in the way and, with a roar, sends a fist aimed right for his head, her entire arm sparking with electricity. "Oh, for-" shouts the red-head as she swings around, grabbing a card from the bag and flicking it at one of the arcade machines. Things are getting interesting indeed.

Robin, now that attention is, at least hopefully, mostly away from him, ducks to the side, between two arcade machines, before twisting his hand over his chest. From there, streams of metallic ribbons pour out, covering his body, reshaping it, forming new clothes around, then vanishing, leaving behind the very different form indeed of the Steel Valkyrie Strimla.

Summer's armor seems to consume her card, before the bio-weave begins to engulf her tails and face, coating her hands and claws, before a sword with glowing markings in the blade forms within her right hand. If a battle is to begin, at least she's forearmed.

"And this is why I don't wander about these areas..." As the blond passes by, he looks at her intently for a moment before smiling, just as Beast Boy transforms into a cheetah and goes off to attempt to grab the bag. With a quiet "Hmph", Archene stands in a martial stance, a light grayish glow seeming to permeate through his body. Though all he does is stare at the blond and red-head. He'd rather have them run off outside than let a fight happen indoors in a place like this.

Beast Boy yalps and rolls with the hit, he flips back with the strike behind the hockey game but bounds back fast as thought as a Kangaroo! He'd really like to go bigger and tougher, but the space is small and his plan to avoid getting civilians caught in the cross-fire was a major fail! He tries to slam into the blonde with his kangaroo legs! "G'day mate!"

Summer, now completely armored, but not hindred by it, begins to move as stealthily as she can. That bag seems to be important. She tries to snag it while everyone else is paying attention to Beast Boy's antics.

The blonde blinks and actually appears caught off-guard by the sudden kangaroo. She flies back, slamming into another arcade machine... even as the one hit by the card shifts, the power cord flying from the wall and straightening as the entire body of the machine shifts, the screen lowering and now showing a pixelated face, while the side panals extend out into arms, one of which grabs the now thickening power cord, weilding it like a staff. It starts to look almost like a troll of some sort, the staff taller than it is! As for the red-head, she seems to be fiddling with a device. "Well, this just got complicated," she mumbles to herself. Her attention diverted, she yelps out as she feels the tug upon her bag. "Hey!" she yells out as she looks up at the armored form. She lifts up a hand and clearly gathers energy there, looking to let loose with that while she tugs backward on the bag's strap with her shoulder. She's not willing to give that up so easily! But give it up she does, as, distracted further by Summer, she fails to notice in time the fast approaching magical girl and her greatsword which slices clean through the strap, freeing it into Summer's hands. Her balance now off by the sudden release of weight from her shoulder, the energy blast flies clear over Summer's head.

Summer does not waste time yelling over success or anything. She simply books it out of the way. This bag clearly means something. In order to find out what, they need to get it away from these two who apparently just made a video game cabinet into a monster.

"Come on, property damage people... mind the property damage." Archene mutters before looking at the troll-looking former arcade machine. Without wasting any more moments, the glow in his legs intensify briefly as he leaps, almost horizontaly, towards the machine spining slightly to attempt to kick it from the side, away from the rest of the fighting so that it can interfere as little as possible.

Beast Boy rebounds off the blonde and shifts again; into a falcon! he swoops towards Summer and calls out, "Throw me the bag!"

The red-headed villain grimaces at the lost bag. "Nea! We're cutting our losses and bugging out!" she shouts at her partner.

From the wreckage of the machine she was thrown into, the formerly blonde woman steps out, her skin now aqua blue and her hair a much darker shade of the same blue, and her face completely an expression of rage as her arms are both sheathed in electricity. "Let me kill something!" she shouts out, now seemingly in a berzerker state of mind. Somehow, the actual monster seems more tame, shouting out with a child's voice as Archene flies at it and raising its power-cord staff in a blocking motion. The thin staff isn't very good at holding the block however, and it cries out in that child's voice again as it crashes off to the side.

The magical girl, Strimla, however, seems about as merciful as the blue skinned woman, though, shouting out again as she swings the sword across at the other red-head. The villain shouts again, barely dodging as she tumbles away. "We are outnumbered here, Nea! We've gotten three batches from this already, we can cut our losses and run!" she shouts as she once again fiddles with the device on her belt.

Summer finds something to use as a ramp, and gathers speed, leaping as far as she can to put distance between her, the redhead and the blonde, as well as the creature they made from that video game, and lobs the bag towards Beast Boy in the hopes he can catch the thing. "Don't stop flying. Get that bag out of here and leave this battle to us until you get that thing to whatever authorities exist in this city!"

Beast Boy speeds to bag to the closest, safest place he can think of! Titan's Tower!

Getting to her feet narrowly in time to avoid an overhead chop from Strimla, the red-head yelps out an slaps the device on ehr belt one last time. "No way, Nea, We are bugging NOW!" she shouts, and soon both women just vanish from sight. The staff-weilding, child-voiced troll of an arcade machine, however, gets back up to its feet and roars out in rage. Which actually sounds kind of pathetic with the child-like voice.

Meanwhile, at Titan's tower, out steps the blue-haired Rose, who looks up at the green hawk carrying a duffel bag with a raised eyebrow. "Okay, Gar, what now? Isn't that a bit big for a bird?"

Beast Boy just drops the bag in Rose's hands! "Put this where it'll be safe, where no one will be able to find it! Like..like Raven's room! Gotta fly! Big fight!" He swoops back towards the arcade!

The creature seems to be almost berserke now. Summer frowns. The creature isn't responsible for its creation, but its actions would determine if she has to kill it or not. "Hold, creature." She says in what she hopes is calming tone to the videogame turned monster. "You have no enemies here but those you will create if you harm anyone here. Calm yourself."

Though Archene hears the shout from the fight of the others, as the arcade troll roars, "I don't think that given the roar it will be calming down, but..." There is a shrug, though he remains on the defensive. He refrains from just kicking it down, again. It'd be good to keep it alive for police, who knows what they could do with a live thing? For magical tracking and the like. Archene'd not know what the police is capable of.

The arcade cabinet monster roars at Summer again! Really, it sounds like a child attempting to be intimidating. It raises its staff, looking like it's about to strike, when it pauses. Strimla rushes in to put herself in harm's way between the creature and Summer, holding her sword horizontally with a hand midway down the blade in a defensive position... And the monster just stops. It lowers the staff slowly, then tilts its video moniter head, displaying a question mark. "Whaaaaaa?" it says.

S. V. Strimla, for her part, seems rather surprised that the thing seems to actually be listening. Releived, but surprised. "That... worked? The last one of their monsters just fought until we incinerated it."

Beast Boy swoops back in, still a falcon, but hits the floor as a Wildebeast! 'What's I miss? Uh...is that thing just giving up?

Beast Boy says, "And where'd Robin go??"

Meanwhile, back at the Tower...

Rose knocks on Raven's door. "Oi. Gar handed me this duffle bag, said to give it to you."

Raven opens the door and barely peers out of the shadows behind it. "...ok...," she's tempted to ask WHY, but she doesn't think she will.

Inside it's clearly just a bunch of tools for repairing an arcade machine. And a capacitor that is litterally glowing with stolen life energy. "Um... Yeah, I have no clue what the heck is going on, so don't ask."

Raven raises a brow. "Alright then....he better not think he's coming in here to get it himself then..."

Rose shrugs back. "Hey, take it up with Gar. I'm heading home now. See ya later."

Back at the Arcade...

Summer allows her armor to recede from her face and hair. "Easy now...." she says, moving out from behind Strimla and moving towards the creature. "We don't need to fight if you don't make it an issue. You had no control over how you were brought to life. Don't force a battle where one isn't necessary."

"Prolly off to call the police as it is sensible." Archene nods, "And we are lucky it did. If you had to do that much to the last one, I don't want to guess how durable they are." He then looks from the creature to Strimla to Summer, before letting out a soft sigh, the glow over his skin slowly fading though he seems apprehensive of the creature still. Just looking at it quietly.

Beast Boy resumes his normal shape. 'Yeah, guess the guy's got no super powers or anything...kinda used to having a Robin around though. So what do we do with...this...?

S. V. Strimla sighs and swings her sword around behind her back, stowing it as if sheathing it back there, but the large blade simply vanishes. "Present," she says fairly quietly, then clears her throat. "I have no idea how these things work. It's only the second time I've run into those two... their last monster simply fought to the death." She leans over slightly to look at the thing's TV screen of a face. "...And... I have no freaking clue what to do with this thing."

Summer blinks. "...Wait, you change sex when you put on that armor?" she quirks her head. "Weird." Then she turns back towards the videogame creature. "Well, it's not trying to hurt anyone. I think it's just confused. It only just came to life...." she walks closer to the creature. "Easy now. Nobody's going to hurt you, ok?"

Beast Boy says, "Maybe we can take it to the Tower? We can't just tuirn it over to the police and..." His eyes go all blank when Summer blurts that out. "........my train of thought just de-railed.....""

S. V. Strimla doteyes. "Did I say that out loud?" She sighs. "It's not the armor, it's... I'll explain it later... not in the middle of an arcade..." The arcade machine creature shows an image of a very pixelated tower on its face. Nothing resembling Titan's Tower, however.

"Do you have a name?" Summer asks of the creature, unsure how to really interact with it other than more or less treating it like a newborn. A potentially very powerful newborn, and one with some intelligence, but a newborn nonetheless.

The creature shows a face on its screen again. It pauses for a moment before simply saying, "Naaaaaaaaaame?"

Beast Boy says, "I was..uh...thinking...I think I was thinking...maybe the Tower? We can't just turn it over to the police or let it wander off...no telling what could happen."

"That's right. What do we call you? For example, my name is Summer." She points to BB. "That's Beast Boy." Then to Archene, "Archie," and finally to Strimla, "And Robin." She gives teh creature a smile. "So, what do we call you?"

S. V. Strimla says, "Strimla," in correction. "...Uh, when I look like this..." She glances to the side, then steps away a couple of steps.

The machine, however, looks around, then says, "You!"

Beast Boy says, "Okay, we'll call him Hugh."

Beast Boy says, "Or Megawatt...that's the name of his...console...."

Summer turns and stares at Beast Boy. Then shakes her head. "I don't think so." She says with amusement. Then looks back to the creature. "Hmm. Maybe something similar to that last one. Maybe....Gawain. After the old Knights of Earth's legendary Round Table?" She grins. "What do you think? Does Gawain sound like a good name for you?"

Beast Boy says, "Total Star Trek reference, down the drain." He smirks.

The creature once again just shouts out, "You!"

Strimla frowns, then sighs as she facepalms. "...It's just repeating the last word you say."

As if to prove Strimla's point, the thing now says, "Say!"

Beast Boy....."BEAST BOY IS AWESOME!

The thing raises a fist into the air. "Some!"

"Hmmm. It's almost acting as if it were a child. But it does have some capacity to understand. When Beast Boy mentioned a tower, it brought up an image of it. So it might understand...but has no context for what it hears yet. ...It's a newborn with incredible power, but no comprehension of how to put what it experiences together."

Beast Boy says, "Yeah...maybe the Tower's the best place for him...at least we can keep an eye on him till we figure out what to do."

"Uhm...how did you even manage to make that kind of a change without anyone seeing the first time, anyway?" Summer asks, sweatdropping a bit.

S. V. Strimla points at the collateral damage. "....No one was looking at me. You guys were already causing a huge scene," she says, then glances around. "If I'm gonna transform back, I'm gonna need to duck out, though," she says more quietly.

"...I'll come with. I wanna see how this even happened to begin with. You got some 'splainin' to do."

S. V. Strimla frowns slightly, then sighs and nods, suddenly dashing outside. She waits for Summer to follow, then leaps off a wall to make her way onto the top of the arcade, out of sight from below, where she waits for Summer to get her way back up again... Clearly assuming Summer will be able to follow her relatively easily.

A reasonable assumption. She's been well trained and her armor affords her some extra abilities, to say nothing of the one or two things Summer hates about herself. So she follows pretty closely, maybe only a step or three behind.

S. V. Strimla sighs again when she's sure noone can see them, then she grips the gem in the center of the bow over her chest, which she twists, causing the transformation to effectively happen in reverse, the streams of metallic ribbons retreating abck into the gem before it vanishes into Robin's hand. "...Yeah, like I said," he says with a hand nervously scratching at the back of his head. "...My combat style kinda relies on magic a lot."

Summer ponders this. Her mouth opens one. Closes. Repeat. Then.. "So....which are you, exactly? Male or female?"

Robin shrugs. "Well, right now I'm male," he says. "But I fight as female. And sometimes just... am." He frowns slightly, explaining himself almost immediately. "While I don't think she had anything to do with my getting these powers, a goddess told me I should embrace that form, not just accept it... so every other day or so I just... hang out as Strimla."

Cue one raised silver brow, a single perked ear while the other stands at half mast, and her tails just kinda doing their own thing.

"....There's gonna be stuff like this all over the city, isn't there?"

Robin sighs and sits down on an HVAC unit. "Yeah, probably. When I first went to get actual women's clothing for my other form... I'm... pretty sure the sales attendant knew I was a guy."

Summer smirks. "Let me guess. Had no idea what to look for in terms of women's sizes and the like?" She jokes playfully.

Robin grins nervously. "Got it in one. Had to ask for some professional help on top of a friend's help. Because yeah, I of course didn't own a bra or have a clue how to size one before that. Damn thing was expensive at that place, but at least I could use that size to buy cheaper ones elsewhere..." He blushes at that, then shakes his head. "But, yeah, that's that. Have you gotten the questions out of your system?" He glances away as he says that.

"I'm sure others will come to mind at some point." Summer says with a chuckle. "But, about what I said before. I....well, I'm not sure if I really know how to deal with that. I've had...negative experience with Magic throughout the majority of my life. It's cause more harm than I can say in the reality I come from. It's....not easy to think that there's places where it's used for or thought of as good by anyone other than magic users, or those indoctrinated into believing it is. For me it just...it isn't easy to accept that for others here, my view must seem....." she struggles for some kind of term for it.

Robin offers, "One sided? Look... you're new here, and you've only had one side ever presented to you in your life. A friend of mine had no concept of magical girls being anything other than tools to create some... thing I don't understand, frankly. Still another also had never actually worked as a team in their universe. As far as I know, I'm the only magical girl from my universe." He frowns with a sigh as he looks down again. "This place takes a lot of getting used to. You've not even been here a week. Give it time."

Summer sighs and nods. "One sided would seem to be the most logical term for it. And....I'm sorry. I was speaking purely from the view of my own experiences with it. I...can't say I'll ever truly get to the point where I will see Magic the way you do. But given I have no way to get back to my own reality...I can at least try to remember that here, magic has a more....I dunno...nuanced? reception than where I'm from."

Robin nods. "Don't worry about it. And... I don't see magic as a necessarily good thing, either. Like any weapon, the good or evil in it depends on the wielder. I've seen plenty of evil magic, especially in my own world, just still just as much magic used for good."

"Hmm. I can't argue the point. At least...not here, anyway. Back home it's...different." she shrugs helplessly. "But...I guess it would be poor repayment of a hand extended in friendship to be too cynical about it here, I guess."

Robin nods a few times, still unable to really meet eyes again, though. "Yeah. I'd still like to be friends. It's better to have friends than enemies." He finally looks up again with a smile. "And you seem like a good person to me."

"Well, I like to think I'm a halfway decent person, except to my enemies or people who hurt my friends. Then I'm every bit the bitch these ears and tail might indicate." she jokes with a playful wink.

Robin laughs and nods before looking down again. "Yeah, well, I'm no different there. Gnistra isn't built for showing mercy in battle, afterall... Uhhh... that's be my sword."

"What sword really is?" Summer says with a chuckle. "Well, practice swords, anyway. Still, I will try to be a bit less harsh on Magic here. Just...try to remember, it's not anything against people here who use it if I do seem a bit cynical. It's just that magic was used to hurt so many that for me, it's still hard to imagine it being something that can be considered good to anyone who isn't using it or indoctrinated into believing it to be good." She offers a hand. "By the way, if you ever need a sparring partner to improve your swordsmanship, don't hesitate to ask."

Robin looks up again with a slight smirk as he takes the hand. "I just might some time."
