Hunk

Hunk is a big man in every sense of the word. He's quite tall, and in fact well muscled... but you really can't make out the muscles because he's overweight on top of that. Once you get over that, the next thing you'd likely notice is the orange headband he's wearing for some reason. He's also wearing a yellow T-shirt that reaches down to just past his elbows, as well as down to cover the top of his pants. It has a black border at the ends of the sleeves and at the neck. Over this T-shirt is a green vest that only makes it to his waist(at least you think that's where his waist is. It's a little hard to tell) that has a high collar and heavier pads on his shoulders, while his hands are mostly covered with his black fingerless gloves. His belt hangs down low enough to not be hidden by his T-shirt at his sides, where it holds a sizable pouch on each side, while the hidden more functional part of the belt holds up a pair of brown trousers with darker brown pads on his knees. Finally, his boots look almost futuristic with their mostly white and brown coloring, though there is some orange markings as well.

Hunk

Hunk is, first off, a mechanic. Back at the Galaxy Garrison, he was training to be the mechanic of the crew with Pidge and Lance. This is a talent that comes naturally to him, though he likes to keep up to date on the latest technologies. While he appears a bit dumb on the surface, get him talking about the right subjects and his true intelligence shines through. He might not be as much into deeper experimental thought, but he can easily keep up with most scientists about even fairly complex subjects.

Hunk is also a fairly skilled cook. While he's not the most picky of eaters, he still loves a good meal, and can even reach the point of being a bit demanding when it comes to a meal he himself is preparing.

While, as Paladin of the Yellow Lion, one would think he's a skilled pilot, he in fact has little ability to pilot anything other than Yellow. Repeated use of his Bayard weapon, however, has made him a fairly good shot with heavy weapons.

Lastly, Hunk is in fact incredibly physically strong. He does not, however, have much in martial arts skills to back them up.

Background

Hunk was set to become a part of a small ship's crew for the Galaxy Garrison. He was at the academy, training up to form a crew with Pidge and Lance, ready to take things easy as an engineer. Unfortunately, Lance had other ideas, and Pidge just made things even more complex. Before he knew it, Hunk got dragged along on an adventure to break out Shiro from a quarantine, and then, well, to make a long story short, he's now the Yellow Paladin of Voltron, meaning he's the Yellow Lion's pilot. He's since gone on a number of amazing adventures that he usually, frankly, would be fine with having stayed at the Castle for, but he knows when he's needed(which is, of course, a lot of the time since he's the Yellow Paladin) and will head out with only a minimum of complaint if any.
