| Summary: The retreat to Jabberwock Island has been a wonderful distraction for Oshiro. But in the end, that's all it is... a distraction. The little white demon arrives, and then everything falls apart... or does it? Strimla steps out of her room, but today she's not apparently going out for a swim. No, instead she's wearing a normal set of clothes. She yawns slightly, having just taken a long nap herself. She steps over to Oshiro, however, and looks down at her with a smile, but she doesn't get in the way of the sun. A day without stress. Possibly the first one she's had since she met Oshiro. She steps away again, plopping in a chair nearby where she starts reading a book. La Pucelle in the pool causally swimming around. She managed to find a bathing suit in the shop that was near by it pretty skimpy too. She stop and floats on the back just relaxing. "Ahh this is nice.." Strimla looks over her book at La Pucelle. "So... does it make much of a difference in swimming, having that tail? Does it help, or does it get in the way of your usual stroke?" Rainbow Dash comes zooping across the sky over the Island! The sounds of the wind like a small jet passing low! How does she do that...and with wings? Oshiro opens a violet eye and gives a little smile to La Pucelle. "It is." She closes her eye again and goes back to her mid afternoon snooze. Sadly though, A Stress Free day is simply not going to happen on this day. Even now, A pair of red eyes catch the afternoon light. the blank expression on the face of the fluffy alien is disconcerting as ever. Slowly he moves up behind Oshiro and speaks telepathically to everyone in the area. "Oh This is where you wondered off to, Oshiro. You shouldn't have left the city alone. There is a really large witch there. You should hurry back before anything bad happens." Oshiro turns to see Kyubey... She closes her eyes and frowns, "You didn't have anyone else in the area? You just had to bug me again. Don't you get it, you've ruined my life. I don't want to talk to you at all." "You're the only magical girl that I have made in this city. Of course I had to come to you." Strimla sighs and pulls her oversized sword out from behind her back. With a fluid motion, she switches it over to bow form and draws an arrow, aiming it right at Kyubey. "So we call in some non-magical girl help today, little pest. I'm disinclined to have anyone do anything the way YOU want it to be done." La Pucelle stop swimming and comes the the edge of the pool. "It really doesn't get in the way Strimla.. I haven't really noticed a difference.", she pauses as she see the cat thing. It reminds Pucelle of Fav oddly. She get out of the pool keeping an eye of Kyubey. Rainbow Dash is SUDDENLY atop the Over-hang near the pool area. "Yeah...you got her into this mess...you...uh...THING! And now you wanna push her over the edge, well, this little blue pegasus is not lettin' that happen! A swirl of rainbow hearts suddenly appears, growing and spining faster and faster untill it poofs into Usami. "Hey, no one invited you to the retreat, you insult to long eared cute things," she says with puffed out cheeks as she looks at Kyubey. Miyu arrives as well, dressed in something like gym clothes and looking as though she'd just finished a good work out of some sort. Oshiro looks really worried all the sudden. "I... I gotta go. I have to get back. If I don't... People are going to die! I can't let that happen!" She looks at Kyubey and frowns, "Stay away from me Kyubey. You've ruined my life." With that she gets up and takes off, trying to find a way to get back. Usami flails her arms a bit. "Wait, Oshiro, there's a quick way right here to get you back to the city!" Rainbow Dash says, "Hey...I can get you back faster then anything! I AM Rainbow Dash, right?" Strimla growls and lets the string go, letting lose the arrow at him. She is not inclined to show anything resembling mercy to the pest. She then turns to face Oshiro and Usami, wincing as it's clear that she won't be stopping Oshiro anymore. "Oshiro wait. An Darint!", Pucelle says mentally chastising herself for cursing. Magical girls don't do that. She pulls out her sword from somewhere. She points it at Kyybey. "You! I want to talk with you later.. But first...", she changes into her battle outfit and chases after Oshiro. Oshiro looks around and returns. She looks at Dash, "Get me there." She looks at the girls, "Okay follow behind how ever Usami has. Kyubey will..." Arrow through the Kyubey! The creature falls over dead. Another one shows up and eats the dead one. "Kyubey will guide you there. If not I will blow him up to the point that he can't come back..." She glares at the creature. "Lets do this." Rainbow Dash says, "Uh...if you can do THAT, then do that," she huffs, "Climb on! And point which direction!" Usami says, "We can all go quick if we're in a jet! And it's not like there's a lot of things to sort out, so no wait time! It's just get in and go! Since I made it I can fly us there too!" ...seriously WHY does she always SWIM to Neo Tokyo's main land when she visits? "We're all gonna come help!" Miyu says a lot of nothing, but she does nod seriously to this sentiment. And with no further ado, Usami'd try to lead the others to the airport on Island 5 (aka the danger island she tells people to be careful of when visiting). La Pucelle ews at Kybyey eating it's self. "That just wrong..", she nods to Oshiro. "let's go." Strimla sighs and nods to Usami. "Lead on, I guess..." As she follows, she reaches up to her chest and grips the air there to twist, her body shifting back into Robin... but he's wearing what looks more like medeival clothing than what he typically wears, complete with a mace hanging from his belt.. but then she twists again and transforms right back into Strimla, but now she has her 'armor'. Oshiro hops on Dash's back. Holding on with one hand, her free hand spawns her soul gem. "Lets go! I will give you directions as we go." Rainbow Dash says, "Jet- Schmet," she rolls her eyes! and BOOM! She's gone in a flash of Rainbow rocket trail!" The glow of the soul gem gives enough of a clue as to where the witch is. Then, things go bad. There is a major traffic accident. "Oh no." Oshiro jumps off Dash's back. As she drops, She transforms. Her body quickly changed becoming her Magical girl self. As soon as the transformation sequence finishes, she touches down. She looks around at the people in the cars. One after another, she checks. "This... No.." She checks her soul gem and... nothing? Rainbow Dash swoops down behind Oshiro, "You might want to not do that...that's dangerous! Geez!" she crosses her forelegs, "What the hay is going on? La Pucelle blinks looking around. "A traffic accident?", looks pretty normal. She goes to and check the people in the cars just to make sure. Not the first traffic accident she helped rescue people from.. Strimla frowns as she looks around. She takes a few glances at the cars... but these are still things that, frankly, freak her out just a bit normally. Strimla does not like streets in this world. "What's going on Oshi?" Miyu frowns somewhat. This is not the first she's seen of traffic issues either but....that time was kind of indirectly HER fault. She does what she can to help check on people as well. Usami powers down the jet and floats up a little. She's unfortunately QUITE used to such things since she was made to rehabilite a class of 1000 class murderers....which probably means what it sounds like. "Oh no...this isn't good at all..." Why couldn't she have been programed with a revival spell?!
Rainbow Dash says, "Whoa...wait...t-these people are DEAD?! O.O She grrrs, "Okay, this thing is gonna pay! I'm..." She looks to Oshiro, "Uh-oh...this can't be good! OSHIRO! Snap out of it!" She zooms over to her, "This isn't your fault! None of this is your fault, don't let it take you over!" S. V. Strimla shakes her head, apparently missing the full significance of what's happening to Oshiro as she's not looking directly at her. "No. It's not your fault... No one, no one can be on duty all the time, twenty four seven. There's only one monster involved here, and it's not you." She looks over one of the victims with a frown, and only then finally looks to Oshiro to get that incoming sense of dread from her. "Oshiro!" she calls out, rushing over as well. She runs right over, seemingly intending to tackle her, but in the end she's just trying to hug her. "No, Oshiro!" Oshiro is laughing. Not good. "Oshiro! This isn't your fault. You can't be everywhere!", Pucelle says trying to calm her down. She wonders if Kebyey did this on purpose... Usami frowns horrible. This is bad. "It's that meany headed, stupid Kyubey's fault!," she says, "Oshiro you didn't do anything wrong!" Miyu looks toward Oshiro uncertainly....she really does NOT know what to offer or say. She's extremely weak at this sort of thing. She tries to walk over to Oshiro and just...quietly holds out a hand awkward like... She REALLY needs to keep working on this stuff. Rainbow Dash says, "isn't...there something we can do for these poor people?! Are..they totally gone...?!" A ball of electric feeling, purple light suddenly pops into being before growing stronger and eventually POPing a specific purple alicorn into it's place. "Oshiro! I've got it, Oshiro! You DO have to become a witch! It's how it works!" She probably should have given more details, but she's hurried for various reasons. She blinks and furrows her brows as she notices something's going on around her. "Umm....Oshiro?" Rainbow Dash says, "I...uh...think she's goin down the rabbit hole Twilight!" La Pucelle says, "Be careful what you wish for..", she says keeping an eye on Oshiro now. This might get a bit out of control soon." Within seconds, Oshiro's soul gem is black. Pure black. She looks at everyone and just sits down. "I... I should have been on duty. Its.... Its too late. I can't fight it anymore..." The voice of Kyubey touches everyone's mind, his voice neutral as ever. "You lasted longer then most. The amount of energy you produce should allow me to leave this place and have plenty to spare. Thank you Oshiro. This is the fate of all magical girls from our world. She is just balancing her good." CRACK The black gem shatters only to reform into a a grief seed. Her body falls lifeless. Suddenly the entire area begins shifting, changing. Becoming very surreal. Strange images begin flooding the area. Images like a dog stealing meat from a meat locker. Shadowy creatures serving items Suddenly a pair of oven mitts come flying in along with a plethora of other kitchen utensils. Each one flying at the people present. Familiars. As the gem cracks an explosion of energy goes sailing out in all directions, blowing the cars backwards and shaking several buildings. It has the force of a bomb minus the negative effects. She definitely had a lot of energy stored. "OOOOOh no," Twilight Sparkle replies to Dash's greeting, "I'll be right back!" The purple alicorn quickly dissapears as quickly and confusingly as she appeared in the first place. She didn't come expecting Oshiro to be right in the middle of this. Anyone that knows her knows she'll be back in no time flat though. Rainbow Dash is knocked back in the air by the explosion...but she's caught by a flying, caped human! "Whao there, Rainbow Dash, I've got you!" dash blinks, a bit dazed, Who...what....?" The man smiles, "They call me Captain Marvel! And I'm here to help...oh no, poor Oshiro!" Billy_Batson steps out of a swirling silver portal that appears in midair, and closes just as suddenly behind him. Miyu tries to hold her ground, given she was getting in close to Oshiro when this happened. She quickly attempts installing her rider class card, giving herself a big, heavy noble phantasm of a carriage to ground herself with, and transforming her magical girl form into a red and gold body suit, gloves, and boots, with a big, fluffy, white trimmed, red cape. S. V. Strimla starts saying, "She has to-" but then is blown back by the blast, tumbling a bit before she comes to a stop. It takes her a moment longer to get up than it should, and she punches the ground hard as she does so. "Goddamn it..." she says through gritted teeth. She quickly pulls out Gnistra again, switching it immediately to a bow form again and firing another arrow at Kyubey. "You. Obnoxious. Parasite." La Pucelle shouts at the sky. "Get back here! Dammit!", she says swinging her sword trying to block the familiar attack. "Now what?? I don't know what do to!" Usami can't do much from her distance, but she tries to make a barrier to protect people from getting flung TOO far by the blow back affect of Oshiro's transformation. Rainbow Dash and Captain Marvel jump into action against the flying, attacking utensils, doing thier best to keep harm from coming to anybody else! The familars aren't particularly strong. They are easily dispatched. Almost as easily as Kyubey is by another arrow. Another kyubey slips in and grabs the dead on and pulls it clear out of the labyrinth. Things continue to go insane in the odd labyrinth. Outside the labyrinth, things start getting nasty. A large number of people develop smudges on their faces. Smudges like the ones on the people in the car accidents. They begin moving to high windows and roof tops. Twilight reappears and blinks at the situation at hand. "Umm....THIS is going to be difficult. I'll need someone to cover me so I can concentrate on making the spell work again!" Captain Marvel says, "Rainbow dash! You protect Miss Twilight! I'll try and keep these poor people from hurting them selves!" S. V. Strimla curses several times in a manner La Pucelle definitely wouldn't approve of. It's happened. It's finally, actually happened. She shifts Gnistra back into its greatsword form as she starts running, searching the labrynth for Oshiro herself. But tears are forming, despite the fierce expression on her face as she slashes down several familiars. As she hears Twilight, though, she seems to snap out of this frame of mind. "...Make the spell... work?" She blinks in surprise, then runs over to the alicorn before spinning to face her back to the Princess of Magic. "All right, then... Consider yourself covered," she says as she makes a motion with her hand, enlarging her form to nearly twice its size. Suddenly, Hovering above the city, not far from where everyone is. A very menacing figure materializes. It looks like a line cook at a grill just floating there. Everything about her is corrupted. There is no humanity there. This is what Oshiro has become. Not Oshiro... The Witch, Darci. La Pucelle would like to say a few things Srimla said out loud too! But she too busy fighting off familiars! She lets a whoa as Strimla get huge! That's a pretty neat trick. She moves forward hoping to find Oshiro, oh there she is. "Oshiro. I'm coming." Usami being closer to outside of the Labyrinth than inside of it, she flails and painics for a short moment before acting quickly and forming things like huge pillows and paddings around the areas people are forming at, doing what she can to try and stop the damage people might have from falling if they jump. Captain Marvel says, "Holey Moley!" S. V. Strimla pauses in her attacks against familiars as she looks up at the newly formed witch, wincing quite visably as she does so. "Twilight... this had better work. If it doesn't... if it doesn't I've a promise I'm going to have to keep..." Captain Marvel flies up to the menacing figure! "Miss Oshiro...I know you're still in there; you have the power to let the evil go...you can turn back to the light! We're you're friends, we're here to help you! Miyu focuses on sword fighting and normal magical blasting at familiars. As the form of Darci appears, she pauses, peering up at it. ...looks like she picked the wrong class card to install entirely..... Twilight works on her spell, having to focus too hard to respond to Strimla's comment. Rainbow Dash says, "Don't even think it, Strimla! We're gonna get her out of this!" the creature in the sky, doesn't respond. The witch is literally consumed with nothing but regrets, hate, and malace. An image moves through the bizzarre scenery. Two older folks. A man and a woman. Bound... Not moving. ooc there are more familiars around and the craziness is just going on around them. Oddly enough, those who can't see magic are experiencing a freak tornado right now :p Captain Marvel says, "You have to think f all the people you've helped! The battles you've won! The lives you've saved!" S. V. Strimla makes no moves towards the witch, and does not shift Gnistra into bow form, either, as she continues to focus on defending Twilight. She in fact makes an effort not to look at the witch above, just praying silently to the gods that Twilight's spell works. She doesn't respond to Rainbow Dash, either, putting all her attention on the familiars that get anywhere near Twilight.
All of the ingrediants of Twi's spell have been correctly combined and now all that remains is focusing her magic into it as she aims it itno the witch Darci. Miyu is continuing to swat at the familiars, some of them getting in close enough to start trying to tug at her cape and tear her free of the carriage. This obviously not going well for her, she lets go of her hesitation from not yet having control of this carriage, and sets the carriage going. This simultanously causes her to flee from the grasping familiar hands AND start a lightning storm directly around her, zapping electricity at familiars as she goes. Usami keeps making paniced efforts to protect the people who have been witch's kissed. Rainbow Dash is helping keep Twilight safe! Deflecting and kicking anything she can to let her focus! The Witch send something that looks like hamburgers flying towards the Magical good types. It doesn't take much to recognize the dark energy comng off them. Any trace of humanity that had been within Oshiro is gone. Captain Marvel says, "Holey Moley, I hope Miss Twilight's spell works!" S. V. Strimla shifts her grip on Gnistra to deflect the incoming hamburgers with the flat of the blade rather than an edge. She winces again, not from any physical pain or effect, but just at how much it feels to her like she's failed as well now... She's simply not able to put her gaze upward at the witch. La Pucelle is going to not eat hambugers for a while. She slashes at the incoming attack almost blocking all them but get through knocking her down. She gets back up. "I'm not giving up on you Oshiro! I'm not!" "This IS going to WORK," Twi insists through gritted teeth as she forces her magic into the spell all the harder. It has to work, she's looked into every angle of it this time, she's studied it to a perfectionist's fault like she sheould have before letting herself get talked into using it on the blind like she did before. She knows magically to a chemical level HOW this spell works now. It'd be completely illogical that it wouldn't work. IT MUST! It has to! She could have gotten something wrong....please don't let her have gotten something wrong. Oh Celestia and Luna both! What if she messed up some math despite quadrupil checking all her formula measurements?! Miyu attempts to swat at the flying burgers with her wand (currently sword). Rainbow Dash says, "Maybe..maybe this will help draw her back out! Something great! Something that will give her hope!!" She rockets into the air, through the rain of hamburgers! C'mon, c'mon, c'mon! Faster and faster and faster and BOOM! There's a brilliant explosion of light and color! A Sonic Rainboom explodes across the sky!" Captain Marvel says, "Whoa.......O.O" Violet magic begins wrapping around the witch and the lifeless body of Oshiro both at the same time. Both start glowing brightly. All of the bizzare images and creatures begin flickering. The people under the effect of the witch's kiss just drop. Darkness begins exploding outward from the witch. Everything culminates with a single blast of of light. When the light fades, The witch and all of the effects of her are gone. Oshiro's body is gone. No sign of either of those two. What has appeared though, is something completely odd. Laying in the shade of a sakura... a single, pink unicorn pony... Rainbow Dash says, "What...in the hay.......???" Captain Marvel says, "Wha...in the...was that supposed to happen?" S. V. Strimla crosses her arms over her eyes at the bright flash of light, then looks around as her vision clears. The threat is clearly over, so she let's her enlarge spell fade away, leaving her at normal height again. "What happened? Where's... Where's Oshiro?" She then blinks, spotting the new pony. "...And when did she show up?" Apparently Strimla has not put two and two together. Rainbow Dash says, "Uh...she..iss he...she's not..isn't this Pony...is she? Twilight sighs and colapses where she stands. Usami isn't sure if it's safe to stop spamming giant pillows or not. WHAT'S GOING ON?! Miyu falls out of the carriage, still not sure how to control it just yet, she manages to catch herself so she lands on her feet, at least. She dismisses her rider install, making the carriage dissapear as her magical girl outfit returns to it's default form. Captain Marvel says, "She either...changed places with a Pony..or became one......" Rainbow Dash flies down, "Twilight! Are you okay?!" she tries to help her up, "What...in the wide wide world of Equestria happened?! The little pink pony slowly starts to stir. Around her neck is a violet pendant on a gold necklace. She doesn't stand up. She simply looks around. "Err. What happened??" She asks . "I feel funny." Captain Marvel flies dow, landing near...the new little Pony, "Um...Oshiro...is that you? You've been...ponified...apparently....... S. V. Strimla blinks. Audibly. "Wait... you think she might..." She looks again at the new pony, then back at Twilight. "....What... exactly was that spell supposed to do?" She looks at a loss, completely confused, and with way too much adrenaline in her system right now for what's actually going in. Twilight shakes her head a little. "Yes, sorry," she murmurs, "Yes that's Oshiro...you can't return from being a witch...the loop hole is, if you give the person a completely new life...- The problem was that it works specifically based on the strength of the corruption at hand." Rainbow Dash says, "So...to save her life, you used a Transformation spell! So she gets a reboot...you're Awesome Twilight! I knew you'd come up with something!" She noogies Twilight!" Oshiro quietly starts looking over her form. "This is going to take some getting used to I think." She tries to stand up on two legs and winds up falling down. "Oof!" She frowns and then tries to get up on all for and winces. "Errr. This is strange." Quietly she tries walking around a little. "Okay I think I can get used to this..." She stops to sniff at a dandylion and immediately sneezes. When she does, her horn lights up pink and the flower bursts into petals. Her eyes go wide. "WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! What happened!!!!! I Just smelled it and sneezed!!!" Captain Marvel says, "Allergies, maybe? I suppose it is going to take some getting used to, but that's better then being dead," he looks to Twilight, "Good Job Miss Sparkle...er...Miss Twilight...Princess Twilight," he corrects, "Good job everyone, we saved a lot of lives to day...not to mention Oshiro's."" S. V. Strimla seems at an utter loss. "I, er, uh... Yeah? Good... job everyone?" She looks about as confused by this outcome as Oshiro does. She sits down on a curb, then, the adrenaline finally leaving, she flops over backwards, staring at the sky in exaustion. "Just Twilight's fine," Twi says with a dismissive wave, looking ready to just flop right back down on the ground. "Can we see to this in the morning," she murmurs grogily. Usami finally seems to have decided everything's done, and poofs away all those heavily layered pillows she was bampfing into existance. Miyu is...just kind of floating there at a loss. Rainbow Dash says, "Oh..okay. No worries, I can carry you both," she looks to Twilight and Oshiro, "C'mon,let's get to the tree and we can work out the details!"" Captain Marvel says, "Um..Miss Bunny person? Do you need help getting home?" Usami shakes her head. "Nah, I've gotta jet! I can help take people home instead!" Oshiro looks at Twilight and nods to her, "Thank you, Twilight" She looks at Captain Marvel, "Was it bad?" She doesn't have a memory of her time as a witch. Just blacking out and not waking up until she was under the Sakura. She then looks at Rainbow Dash, "Umm, Yes. I guess. I dunno what to do." Captain Marvel says, "Not SO bad, luckily your friends were there to give you a hand." Captain Marvel says, "Oh...and, Twilight...my sister's a big fan of yours. I really hope she gets a chance to meet you." "That's wonderful," Twi murmurs, "Do tell her hello for me...er.....wait....who are you?" Captain Marvel says, "Oh! I'm sorry...they call me Captain Marvel," he bows polietly, "It's a real honor to meet all of you."" Oshiro looks almost as burned out as much as Twi is after that. She looks over to Strimla, "Thank you. I know everything just really changed but, I'd still like to help out with the team. I mean I still am a girl... or a filly I guess now? I know how to fight and stuff. Just, not as a pony." Rainbow Dash says, "We're...gonna have to get you up to speed on how to be a Pony." S. V. Strimla nods tiredly to Oshiro, smiling to her, but then closes her eyes. "I... yeah, well... Sure. I'm gonna be really honest right now? I have no idea how to take all this right now... But it looks like I don't need to really worry about anything anymore for now." Rainbow Dash says, "Yeah...everything worked out fine! Well, better then the alternative anyway, am I right?" "Nice to meet you Captain Marvel," Twi says with as much enthusiasm as she can muster right now...which isn't a ton. Miyu heads back toward the jet, offering a little wave toward Oshiro. Usami still seems lost as well. "Umm...I'm sorry if I was too slow," she murmurs, "But...at least Oshiro is still alive?" She's super lost. "Um...tings are ok, yeah?" S. V. Strimla suddenly just shifts back into Robin, his eyes still closed. Did he just pass out from the adrenaline crash combined with all thsoe stressors being gone now? Rainbow Dash says, "Let's get you ponies home, get some rest, and we'll work it all out...and by the way, Cap, can i call ya cap? Totally awesome outfit! LOVE the Lightning bolt!" Oshiro frowns, "I'm still me, I just looks a little... AHH CHOO!" Her horn ignites again. This time a fire hydrant blows open sending water flying way up into the sky. "Oops... ummm... Sorry!" She waves a hoof to Miyo and falls on her face. "Yes I am. I'm just different and I feel a little odd honestly." Rainbow Dash says, "Oh geez....." Usami flails as Strimla suddenly de-Strimlas and passes out. She then works at trying to get Robin on the jet, which Miyu helps with. Robin does wake back up as he's dragged, however. "Wha? I think I just had the weirdest nightmare, but it didn't turn out too badly in the end..." As exausted as he is, however, he's still easily lead into the plane. Oshiro looks at Miyu, "At worst, Every team needs a mascot right?" That one pains her. She walks over to join Rainbow Dash and Twilight. This is going to take a lot of getting used to. Standing on a rooftop, watching intently, Red Eyes gaze locked on the events which had transpired. "That was unexpected" The white creature runs off to destinations unknown. | |
