A haunted scientist with a deadly alter ego, Dr. Bruce Banner had his life irrevocably altered while trying to perfect a serum to protect soldiers from gamma radiation. While testing the serum he irradiated himself with gamma rays and was transformed into a massive man-beast known as the Hulk. Now he travels, trying to help others while learning to control his raging alter ego.
