Count Vlad III, Alucard
Alucard primarily appears as a tall well-dressed man in a blood red suit with a large brimmed hat and bolo tie. His vampiric eyes hidden behind a pair of yellow glasses which are suspiciously similar to the ones worn by Vash the Stampede. Alucard's hair seems to randomly change length depending on his mood. Considering he has the ability to shapeshift, this might be entirely intentional. His hands are always covered in white gloves which bear arcane symbols and the words: "HELLSING * HELLS GATE ARRESTED * GOTT MIT UNS * AND SHINE HEAVEN NOW". The gloves and the symbols on them are tied to his Control Lock and the symbols will glow red when activated.
Count Vlad III, Alucard
Alucard's abilities are those of the traditional idea of a vampire; the ability to transform into fog or bats, having superhuman strength, speed, and senses, as well as being incredibly hard to kill. Thanks to the treatment he received by the Hellsing estate most of his incredibly powerful abilities are locked by a "Control Lock" system that can only be undone via voice command when specific conditions are met. In theory he could break his orders and unlock his full potential himself - but he never chooses to. Instead he allows his prey to nearly destroy him in a fight and only uses the bare minimum to outclass them. Mostly because being an indestructible powerhouse is boring to him. Many things are boring to him, and he's spent lifetimes trying to find ways to keep his life interesting...

As an alternative to using his abilities, Alucard carries around a custom made .454 Casull Auto, semi-automatic handgun with a 10 inch long barrel. This beast of a weapon fires 13mm steel bullets with a core made from melted silver crosses from the Lancaster Cathedral. What's never said is how he gets these bullets which he seems to have an unlimited supply of.

Background

Born in the winter of 1431, Vlad III was the son of Vlad II "Dracul". He became known for being a powerful warlord who took sadistic pleasure in torturing and killing his enemies. It was estimated that the number of his victims ranged between 40,000 to 100,000 people - most of those by impalement. At one point it was even stated that there were 20,000 impaled corpses outside Targoviste, Vlad's capital.

The Count's legacy seemingly came to an end after he was executed by the Turks, placed on the chopping block and beheaded amongst the blood of those who had died at his hands. At the last moment he cursed God and drank of that blood - transforming him into his better known persona, the legendary vampire Dracula.

In 1867 a group led by Abraham Van Hellsing managed to track down and finally stop Vlad after he turned Mina Harker into a vampire such as himself after being convinced that she was the reincarnation of his wife. However, instead of killing him, they bound him in an elaborate ritual - forcing him to become an instrument of the Hellsing estate, an act which presumably helped place the secret Hellsing organization as the right hand of the British government when it came to dealing with paranormal or supernatural threats.

Dracula was not seen again until 1944 when he was awakened by Sir Arthur Hellsing who renamed him as Alucard. Along with Walter C Dornez, the two of them were sent into Warsaw, Poland to find and destroy a vampire production program led by Hitler's Special Order #666, later known as Millennium.

In 1969 Arthur Hellsing sealed Alucard a dungeon beneath Hellsing manor describing him as "...too powerful a drug to be used as more than the occasional medicine."

In 1989, after the death of Arthur Hellsing, Alucard was reawakened by Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, Arthur's daughter, as she was being hunted by her uncle Richard who was attempting to take control of the Hellsing estate. Alucard swore allegiance to her and promised to forever obey his new 'Master'.

Some ten or twenty years later, Alucard was forced to fight echoes of his past as Millennium once again resurfaced along with it's plans to create an army of vampires. Aided by a police woman named Seras Victoria, who takes the distinction of being the second person he ever turned into a vampire, as well as the now elderly Walter Dornez; Alucard engaged in a battle that would end up destroying most of London in a hellfire between the vampiric Nazis and a crazed army sent out by the Vatican in an attempt to control the situation.

Before it was over, Alucard himself fell in battle after being tricked into drinking the blood of an omnipresent pet of Millennium's leader - an act which caused Alucard to seemingly fade into nothingness.

Alucard wasn't dead, however. His mind had been broken up and divided amongst the almost billions of voices he'd devoured and stretched across the multiverse. Eventually some of those Alucards began to find each other and merge once again - but only after hunting down and killing each one of the voices which had helped to divide him in the first place.

Now Alucard comes to Twisted, looking for those lost fragments of himself. If only he can find them, he can return home. Until then the Count is here to stay...
