Background
A small black cat that is sometimes used as a character, and sometimes used as an NPC. It has a habit of appearing out of nowhere and saying "NYAAA!" Rumors about the cat range from the belief that it is a multidimensional creature to it being some kind of god. Perhaps it just likes to travel.
This doesn't explain how often it turns up in other planes of reality, however.
