Storyteller's Guide

This page is intended for the person running a scene that occurs in this location. As most of the page is randomly generated, please copy this page into notepad or similar and save it for future reference. Revisiting this page will generate a new scenario each time.

Participants find themselves awakening in a quiet town. Citizens of the town will welcome players with open arms, assuming - no matter what questions are asked - that they are here as tourists and will write off anything odd as normal behavior from wherever the players come from. Players who participate are trapped here until they can stop the murder that will happen on day five from occurring. This death is a catalyst that will awaken Alessa who will destroy the town and everyone in it on day six.

Noteworthy NPCs

James - The doctor running the local clinic. He's very suspicious of outsiders.
Ralf - Runs the tavern. His face is scarred making him talk with a lisp. Will give everyone a free meal the first time he meets them.
Susan - Local school teacher. Friendly to everyone.
Joyce, Ran, Jimmy, Ted - A group of punk-looking kids looking for a good time.
Vincent - A priest who runs the church.
Jim - Runs the general store. Supplies Ralf's Tavern with it's alcohol.

Day One

Weather: Sunny

On the first day everyone can be met at any time if the players go exploring. Nothing is particularly noteworthy except that if the players avoid the tavern until the second day, Ralf will suggest that they leave.

Day Two

Weather: Overcast

James and Susan have fallen in love with each other and can be found at the tavern together. Vincent is trying to get the local gang to vacate the church after a window is mysterious broken.

Day Three

Weather: Storming

James is missing. Susan thinks the priest is involved. She is extra hard on the children in her classes which causes the local gang to be more hostile than usual.

Day Four

Weather: Foggy

Susan has gone missing. The local gang can be found in the tavern, they're too afraid to leave. Ralf is worried about a missing delivery.

Day Five

Weather: Sunny

Ralf has had enough and goes to confront Vincent accusing him of killing James, Susan, and Jim. A fight breaks out. In the process Vincent is killed. Alessa is awakened by the spilling of innocent blood.

Day Six

Weather: Ash

The town is shrouded in darkness. Monsters roam the streets hunting and eating the townsfolk. All paths out of town are destroyed and in their place giant, bottomless voids. Players are trapped until the last person dies.

Conclusion

James had vanished on day three and four to make arrangements to move away with Susan. On Day four she leaves with him without saying a word. Jim assisted him with the move, helping them to leave.

As the last player dies, they awaken back at the beginning. Please reload this page for a new scenario.
