===Medical Mechanica=== __NOEDITSECTION__

Medical Mechanica is something of a mystery on Twisted both before and after the Unification. What is known is that their local base of operations rests on the shores of Lake Emepherea in the form of a giant iron-shaped building which randomly produces steam at odd hours. The building has a hallway which goes around its base with no doors into the interior. Randomly a representative of MM will make an appearance to talk about how the company is helping people somehow, or to speak of a new innovation, but beyond that there is nothing.

Several properites around the City of Mabase have ties back to Medical Mechanica, including the Integra's Arms Apartments which seems to employee one or more of its staff as a robots similar in design to Gegoshi and Bishop 3.2, only much simpler. It is assumed that such designs are manufactured somehow by the company and repeating themes indicate it is from a facility referred to as the Cradle.

===Twisted Street - Another Way=== __NOEDITSECTION__
+
===The Twisted Street=== __NOEDITSECTION__
Following the Twisted Street past the random houses to the west of the center leads you to a small shopping district just on the edge of the wastelands. For those that know their history, the wastelands where once a major part of the city of Twisted before the entire area (and its people) where lost during one of the last big conflicts. Neighboring on that edge has left the properties here cheap and some of the establishments have been known to change hands frequently.
+
In the past the Twisted Street was described as a long black stone of unknown origin and that walking along it would take the traveler in and out of random worlds as the Street existed on all worlds at the same time. It was totally indestructible and went on infinitely with some carefully orchestrated magic in place to generally keep people on the world of Twisted. Since current events have "shattered" the street, this description has been revised. It is now considered common knowledge that each piece of the Twisted Street does indeed exist on a random world in the multiverse, but not necessarily as a solid road. The pieces may be on any number of roads and are always connected to their point of origin. Because of this each "pebble" of the street could potentially send a traveler to it's world of origin at random - something that is particularly more common the further one gets from the center of the Twisted Street. As the road has been shattered those pieces (which cannot be destroyed by any means) are slowly pulling themselves together and the final configuration is entirely based upon which pieces pull themselves together first.

===Peaceful Glade Cemetery=== __NOEDITSECTION__
According to the New Unified History of Twisted the Wastelands where created when hordes of undead creatures where banished to another plane of existence by Twisted's original Council taking with them miles of the city and many of its innocent people. Bordering between the chaos that surrounds the planet and the influence of Gegoshi's stabilization, the Wastelands are a dumping ground of random bits of connected worlds which flicker between realities creating a harsh environment that eventually crushes those structures to dust. As such very few things exist in the Wastelands which can be considered landmarks. For this reason powerful spells where cast which eventually deposit anyone unlucky enough to get lost in them back onto Twisted Street.

Given the multitude of worlds that intersect Twisted, it's no surprise that it features one of the largest cemeteries of nearly any world in the multiverse. As the dedication on the gates reads, "To all the lost souls that where never laid to rest, this cemetery was created. May the gods, goddesses, and wizards of each world bring forth the bodies of those left behind. We offer this sanctuary to those unburied and forgotten spirits never given a place to sleep. May they finally find the peace they deserve..." It is truly something that must be seen to believe.

Inside the cemetery is a large cathedral, a statue of the Grim Reaper, and a large cherry tree atop a hill surrounded by nameless graves. Currently most of these areas are inaccessible from the main grid for various reasons.

===Cemetary Lane=== __NOEDITSECTION__

More of a description than a name, this road turns towards and into a massive cemetary. It's as if the collective worlds that cross Twisted have converged here to bury their dead. It seems to go on and on. Every so often, the odd pairing of a street lamp and a bench in front of the fence seem to be the only decorations. Even from here, a large cherry tree is visible within the gates of the cemetary. Somehow such a sign of life seems oddly inappropriate.

===Kohoku Public Academy=== __NOEDITSECTION__
Putting the wastelands behind you and traveling east from the city center brings you closer to the bay. The air smells better, the temperature is cooler, and occasionally a seagull passes overhead. It's no surprise that the main government of Twisted has been set up here. On the Northern side of the street the Pantheon called the Town Hall rests beside the local clinic. The opposite side of the street sits a convenience store known as the 24*7, and along the side of it is the sandy path that takes you to Zeku-Kari beach.
+
Originally dubbed as Kohoku High School, Kohoku Public Academy is a large three story campus used not only to teach elementary through high school level students, but also provides vocational teaching for older residents. In addition to regular standard classes, stranger ones have recently been added such as pet training and the occult arts. Populated primarily with NPCs, player-characters who wish to attend are more than welcome and scene attendance is not mandatory at this time.

===TASK Building - Southern Courtyard=== __NOEDITSECTION__

Here you find yourself in a strange piece of Twisted. Even with the ability to fly you can only reach this location by traveling through the Town Hall to the South. It's an unnaturally quiet courtyard surrounded by dense trees which any attempt at traveling through will quickly be found to be impossible. Bisecting the courtyard is a long walkway with several stone archways built at even intervals which direct you to the only real thing of interest here...

===The Usual Restaurant=== __NOEDITSECTION__

===The Usual Restaurant=== __NOEDITSECTION__
While traditionally owned and operated by variations of Dragonmaster Cale Charis across the multiverse, the one on Twisted is unique for several reasons. First that it is instead owned by a gargoyle girl named Aquariu who claimed ownership of it shortly after its attachment to Twisted. Currently her whereabouts are unknown but one of the more prominent employes, Yoiko Hibiki has assured those when asked that Aquariu is still around.
+
It is well established that on nearly every world the Usual Restaurant was owned and operated by a version of Dragonmaster Cale Charis. However, the version on Twisted is not. It was constructed as the first building on Twisted along with The Twisted Street and as such the two are nearly inseparable. Across all worlds the Usual generally has an identical layout caused by an overlap between dimensions. As Twisted's version differs in several ways from the standard Restaurant it has become a bit of an anomaly and will attempt to pull random patrons into it's branch even if they entered a totally different version of it. This has led to situations where a group of people enter the UR only to have one of it's group dropped unexpectedly on Twisted as they attempt to leave the establishment. Luckily this only seems to affect people who have personally visited Twisted meaning at worst they just need to find a way back home. It also means it's highly possible to randomly see people from other worlds come into the Twisted branch unexpectedly and only for the duration of that single visit.
+
Secondly, despite all versions of the UR being structurally identical the Twisted 'branch' is somehow slightly altered....

===T.A.S.K.=== __NOEDITSECTION__
+
TASK, Task, or T.A.S.K. were a group of people originally assigned to prevent uncontaminated worlds from interacting with the Multiverse. It was generally disliked by the general population who were convinced they were more of a local police force in the absence of one. TASK at the time was the extension of the will of Twisted's Council though it now serves a new purpose in the Unification Timeline.
+

Spearheaded by Señior Diablo with Dante Sparda as its leader, TASK saw a revival following an unusually large amount of powerful individuals deciding to join the Devil May Cry agency. These became the first members of a new TASK, one designed to meet the expectations of Twisted's populace and to stand for the citizens against threats.
+
Filling a gap previously held by T.A.S.K., the Mabase City Police Force was founded by Rayne Hurris in 4 UT to keep the citizens of Twisted safe from otherworldly threats. Unlike T.A.S.K. which was originally focused primarily on preventing cross-world contamination, the MCPD has been established to protect the citizens of Twisted and help them to feel safe - something which was very important once the Twisted Street was shattered. Currently there isn't a police academy on Twisted. Applicants need to get approval from Chief Hurris and she takes interviews very seriously.
