It is very difficult to chronicle the ages as time is a living beast that flows along it's own path. Only when one looks back can one truely understand where he's been. However, even this may change... The world as we know it began billions of years ago, where two spirits found themselves on a world still young at the time. They decided to rest there. Whether because of choice or force is not known. However, the world they watched grew up to be this one, and their influence eventualy became very apparent.

In the original timeline, a great beast that came to be known as Lavos fell from the heavens changing the shape of the world. A race of reptilian beings known as Reptites began to die out allowing the ape decended Humans to take over the world. The Dragon God, who controlled this world, was outraged. However, thanks to the effects of the future, the one became many and they where bound and sealed away. Seemingly forever.

Under the watchful eye of the two spirits, mankind discovered magic and built a beautiful kingdom in the sky known as Zeal. Yet, greed and corruption soon took it's hold and they began to worship the beast known as Lavos sleeping beneath the soil of the world. Again, the future interviened. The world was split in two creating a world where the kingdom continued to grow, and another where it fell from the skies changing the face of the world once again.

Eventualy other races evolved. Those that could think for themselves became known as the Demi-Humans, although the reasons for this have been lost over the centuries. The humans saught to cast them out of the land they wanted as their new kingdom, and a horrible war was waged. The creatures found a leader in a man by the name of Magus, a boy who had been lost from the Kingdom of Zeal in the past and was raised by these beasts. Now referred to as Mystics, they nearly destroyed the humans until yet again the future intervened. Magus was sent backwards once more into the Kingdom of Zeal and was killed at the hands of a man known as Glenn.

In the year 1000 AD, a boy by the name of Crono was given a task to save the past, present, and future. He became the hope of the unborn future and the cause of so much change in the past. Upon returning to his present he took the hand of a young princess named Nadia and the two took over the human kingdom of Guardia watching as the prior king stepped down to study the world around them. For four years, there was peace.

In a town to the south of Guardia's main town of Truce, a money obsessed man discovered a material he called Elements in the wake of Crono's adventures through time. Creating an empire from the powerful substance, the Kingdom of Porre was born and soon in a blood soaked hand, took over the Kingdom of Guardia forcing it's citizens into seclusion. But, such is the nature of time...

In 1020 AD the after effects of the former King Crono's influence rose up in the form of a horrible area called the Dead Sea. With an event known as a Time Crash, the destroyed timelines crashed into one large mass influencing the land around them and once again awakening the divided Dragon God. With the aid of a boy named Serge two realities where restored and the sister of the once great Magus was saved from the remains of Lavos. Time itself back tracked, eager to catch up with the new changes only to breed more unseen disasters.

Returning to 1004 AD in the alternate world of Zeal where the kingdom hadn't died, the insane rulers of the Zealous people saught to destroy the other versions of it's world and proclaim itself the center of the universe. After slaughering countless worlds they turned their attention to that of Crono and Serge's home. Using a enslaved version of one of the two spirits who'd watched over humanity, they sent over a small group of soldiers to learn what they could and create a plan of attack.

However, in another unforseen turn of events the duplicate of the enslaved spirit encountered itself and merged into a single being. Growing mad with two lifetimes of memories the spirit destroyed the very time gates which had allowed passage for Crono only four short years before. This created another horrible disaster causing the whole of time to crash in on itself destroying the lives of an infinite number of souls from every aspect of the planet's existance. The effects where devistating...

Gathering together, those few souls who survived went forth to challange the spirit and attempt to return the natural order of things once more. But of course, nothing ever goes as planned...

Although time had been destroyed, taking all the alternate timelines along with it, artifacts from each of those worlds began to reappear in the new landmass which existed in the wake of the time crash. Amoung those was an ancient temple from the world of Zeal where the royal house had been cloned to prevent assasination. Becoming active, a clone of the insane Queen Zeal awakened and immediatly saught out to restore her kingdom. Harnasing the powers of the challenged spirit who had changed the world, she managed to reinstate the flow of time and summoned her floating palace... an act which again fractured the timelines around the remaining landmass as an alternate version of Lavos had come with it.

It was at this point events took a completly unexpected twist. Having learned of a Magus which had appeared from a world that hadn't seen him fall to Glenn, the Queen found him and placed him in charge of the throne using his sister Schala as bait. The powers bestowed upon him corrupted the "reformed" mage and drew him back into the darkness from which he came. Statisfied that her royal house was in proper hands the Queen went forth and sacrificed her body to the alternate Lavos in order to give it a host and prevent the two titanic beasts from destroying the remains of the world.

Magus's corruption was eventually restored but the effects of his reign are far reaching. The Queen's Palace still rests anchored where the Castle Guardia should be forcing time to remain shattered. The three Gurus of Time, Reason, and Life have gone missing. Random hordes of demons are running the country side attacking people at random. Porre has reportedly started hiring mercenaries to guard Sun Keep and people from future timelines are suddenly appearing as the original band of heroes attempt to restore the damage done by Magus.

Now, none know what to expect from the chaos, only the flow of time can decide the outcome of these events...
