|Desc=Yoiko is a very slender woman, easily mistaken for someone younger than she is. She often leaves her blondish hair down, unless she's working, to keep the spots which run the length of her body hidden. Also part of the reason she prefers to wear uniform slacks instead of the standard female skirt. When she is at work on a project, she keeps her hair up in a tight bun and wears a heavy looking utility belt from which she affixes anything that might remotely be important to the task at hand. Due to an allergy to Retinax V she also wears a pair of round, slightly tinted, glasses at all times.

Yoiko Hax
Yoiko is a short, slender woman easily mistaken for someone younger than she is. Of course living with humans and their short life spans makes everyone seem too young or too old by comparison. Running down to the middle of her back when it's not tied back, the woman's long "lemon tea" blonde hair is usually pulled down to cover the two rows of easily visible spots running down the sides of her face and literally all the way down her body to her toes. It's not because she's ashamed of them, she's very proud of her heritage. She just doesn't like answer questions about them. Typically the woman wears the red shirt and black pants uniform of the USS Vesuvius, even if she isn't onboard ship anymore. While easily covered by the dark blue denim jacket she tends to wear, her uniform even bears the emblem of the ship stitched onto her left breast with the spiral insignia of the Engineering Department. As soon as she can find a new one, she'll also be wearing a heavy duty tool belt - an old habit she's never kicked. Often she'll wear the coat around her waist just to have the feeling of weight she's missing. Unlike most enlisted officers in Starfleet, Yoiko constantly wears a pair of round, slightly tinted, glasses due to an allergy that prevents her from taking corrective eyesight drugs like Retinax V.
