One of a race of creatures who existed before our own universe, Lucy Lacemaker (known in some Earth cultures as "Loki") was once a powerful politician in their savage society. However, since its collapse billions of years ago, she has been at a loss for what to do with her immortal life. Even her favorite pastime of decapitation has lost its luster, and the only thing that brings her comfort anymore is copious amounts of hard alcohol and occasionally spooking those with weak constitutions. Then again, there's this whole... "mentor" thing that she hasn't given a shot yet. Sure, she's still mischievous and has a hell of a temper, but something about teaching younger beings about the ways of the universe... appeals to her, somehow. Maternal instincts? Who knows?
